Captivating second-chance romance!
After losing Ruby, Noah is reluctant to risk his heart again. But just as he’s ready to risk it all with Pearla, Ruby shows up with an incredible explanation and plans of her own. There’s been a lot of water under that bridge for the past three years, so both Ruby and Noah have a long way to go before they can trust each other again.
This romance was more about staying in love through the tough times rather than falling in love in the beginning, which made it a refreshing change of pace. Noah is a compassionate and patient hero, and sometimes it was difficult to see that Ruby was worthy of him. Her character growth was absolutely necessary to their eventual reconciliation.
I thoroughly enjoyed this fourth installment of a terrific series. The interconnectedness of the characters makes it all feel like one encompassing escape, while each romance stands alone in its own story. Once you start getting to know the characters, it’s wonderful to be able to get to know them better in each subsequent story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
A Marsden Romance book four is Noah and Rubina story. Thought dead Rubina has been gone for 3 years. She had been Noah everything and with believing her dead he finally decides that he needs to remarry, but a marriage of convenience is preferred. The story deals with what happens when Rubina returns. I rather enjoyed the story it was a bit different from other works by Ms. Brower yet it was a nice change of pace. It is easy to have a love-hate relationship with the Rubina character. I love the drama at the end so glad I decided to download and read this one. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This book was off the chart , I just loved how Noah and Rubina love never waivers. On the day that Noah is to be married, Rubina has come back from the dead. Noah can’t believe that his wife the love of his life is alive. Follow this story and you won’t be disappointed.
I can’t wait for the next book, Discarded Pearl where we will have Damian and Pearls story.

This book seems overwrought where Rubina is concerned. This book also ends in a true cliffhanger!
The premise of a woman surviving kidnapping and returning only to find her husband about to remarry seemed exciting. The story had a little trouble keeping my interest, though. The heroine was constantly flip flopping in her feelings, even in the middle of confrontations. The hero had similar issues. The resolution was too easy without enough tension. The side characters were a little more entertaining.
