Four years ago I lost my virginity on live, streaming television.Too bad I wasn’t awake for it.The video went viral. Of course it would. A Senator’s daughter on camera? Wouldn’t you click “share”? Besides, that’s what three of the four guys in the video did.Share.They shared me.But that fourth guy? The nondescript one in the background in the upper left corner of the screen, just sitting on the … corner of the screen, just sitting on the couch? The only one who did nothing?
Not one single thing.
That was my boyfriend, Drew.
And that was the last time I saw him.
Until today, when my father—now on a path to the White House—hired him as head of security for my new team as I return home after four years of “recovering” in an undisclosed location that involved white lab coats, needles, pills and damage control.
You see, the other three guys never went to jail. Never had charges pressed.
Never faced consequences.
Until today.
Game on.

Bodyguard Drew is back in Lindsay’s life—charged with the task of protecting her while her father runs for president. The catch? He betrayed her trust four years ago, and she’ll have to learn to trust him again—this time with her life.
A sexy political thriller you don’t want to miss!
I accidentally lost a day to this trilogy! It is unputdownable. Apparently I’m on a dark-and-twisty binge, and this book is addictive.
I did not intend to spend the last three days binge reading this trilogy. I could not let it go…so I read every second I could spare. Suspenseful, unpredictable, kept me guessing right until the very end of Book 3. Could not turn the pages quickly enough. Well written… would like to see more of this couple in other books!
It was a great read! Loved the characters and the plot. Different than others I’ve read and kept me interested; turing the pages. It was a wow at the end. Wanted more!
Had to read the series, I hope people are not that devious. Thanks for a great read.
Had me wondering how it was going to end. Enjoyed it very much.
Very good read
You may not like to main character but a brilliant storey.
This book held my interest. Was hard to put down. It was different from my usual subject matter. Left me wanting more so had to buy the next book.
I did not love this book, the summary made it seem so much more suspenseful than it actually was. The author seemed to keep repeating themselves and dragged on the story. Will not read the remaining books in this series. The author could have condensed the story down to like 10 chapters. Very disappointing!
I loved this book because I feel bad for the main character but at the same time Im not sure I like her. It brings out very different and real emotions because there are people in my everyday life I feel that way about. It ends on a kind of cliff hanger and cant wait to read the next one!
Really enjoyed this stand- alone novel, but looking forward to trying out the entire series.
This was so good, I read the trilogy in a day and a half! I loved it. There were so many twists and turns, whenever I thought I could predict what was going on; I was thrown way off track again! Cant wait for Shameless to conclude!
Wild
What a complete rollercoaster. You have to suspend quite a bit of reality for this story but I’m definitely looking forward to what comes next in this trilogy
A Harmless Little Game (Harmless, #1):
4 stars
While this one is totally different from the previous boxset I’ve read, it was still a good intro into this (Harmless) Series. Def. is a more sensitive subject. I just felt things moved a bit slower around the halfway mark. Towards the end of course is when things pick up.
Andi Arndt did a good job narrating.

I received an audiobook copy of this book as a contest winning. All opinions are my own.
OK… this may be a spoiler, but going in, you need to know there is a cliffhanger. I got to the end of the book and went “that’s it?!” Thankfully I have book 2 ready to go, otherwise I’d be totally ticked off.
This isn’t my typical read. It’s a little darker than I usually gravitate towards, but I admit that the blurb had my intrigued. The whole plot is on the dark side and really triggered some intense feelings from me. I mean, I felt so sorry for Lindsay and all that she had to go through. And it seems as if she doesn’t really have any sort of support system and is practically alone in the world. I had a strong dislike of her parents and was seriously confused by her ex and now bodyguard, Drew.
Once the story got going, I was sucked in and kept listening because I just had to know what happened next. There were lots of twists and turns and then I was totally left hanging.
Since this was an audio book, I have to mention the narrator, Andi Arndt. I don’t think I have listened to any books narrated by her in the past. But I was impressed. She had great pacing and enough inflection to really get across all of Lindsay’s feelings and thoughts (the book was in first person).
All in all, while this isn’t a book I would have normally read, I did enjoy it and can’t wait to read more in the series.
I enjoyed reading The Harmless Little Game But I hate this author or any author who does not solve the issues presented in the story. I feel it is just a ruse . Every book should have a beginning to introduce the characters and the plot. A middle to tell their story . An ending to resolve all the issues raised.
It is a original romantic book. Girl who has a hard life finds love in the end no matter what has happen in the past.
Four years ago, presidential candidate’s daughter Lindsay thought Drew betrayed her, but now he’s back to prove himself. Will she let him?
I LOVE a good second-chance romance! And I’m always a sucker for a yummy enemies-to-lovers storyline! Love it!
So addictive!
