Jazz has lived with unimaginable guilt his entire life. Why the gods had allowed him to even be born was something he struggled with every day. When he met a man who treated him as Jazz always knew he deserved, instead of telling anyone, he endured. What he didn’t expected was for the residents of Miracle to step in and save his life.Wilder loved his job, especially now that the new Council … Council didn’t use him to get rid of the shifters that didn’t agree with them. He imagined helping shifters around the world for years to come. But all of that changed when he met his mate, who has been terrorized by the man Wilder had been charged to bring before the Council for sentencing.
Jazz’s fear that no one, not even his mate, would ever really want him seemed to be coming true when Wilder told him he’d need to leave whenever the Council required him to do a job. Wilder’s job means everything to him, but having a mate may require changes he is not ready for.
Will the two find a compromise? Or will one of them have to give up everything for the other?
Warning: This book contains details of child neglect as well as abuse as an adult.

This was a great story and was very entertaining. Once I started I could not put it down. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is sizzling hot. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.

Jazz is a deer shifter who had been abused physically and mentally since he was a small child, with the result that he believes that he deserves anything bad happening to him. He is shocked when the people of Miracle stand up for him and want to bring his abuser to justice, one more than anyone else – Wilder, his newfound fated mate and a grizzly..
Learning to trust in him and living life as an equal partner is something new to learn and does not come easy. This book describes the development of Jazz from a man with no self-esteem to someone who is proud of his abilities and contributions to society.
Well-written and entertaining, but the word “mate” is used a little too often for my taste.
All in all – enjoyable and fun.

Justice leads to a mate and Love.
A grizzly’ justice is the 10th book in the Miracle Series.
Wilder as a council enforcer has been involved in bringing a shifter charged with terrorising and trying to kill another shifter before the council. Jazz the victim has been put down and abused his whole life. He feels that he is not worth anything and most certainly not worth a mate. Yet Fate has other plans and the trial before the council brings these two fated mates into each other’s path.
Wilder shows Jazz he has value and can contribute. However, he is not so keen when the council decide that Jazz’s unique skill set can aid Wilder in his job. However, a set of circumstances while on their first mission shows that Jazz can indeed hold his own but also raises new questions.
A great addition to this ongoing series.
I’ve read every book in this series and while than may sound normal – it’s not always the case for me. Just because an author writes a series doesn’t mean I read every book in it – even if I really like the author (as a matter of fact there are a few books in one of this authors series I have no interest in reading ). I have read all of the books in this series for a few reasons – I like the author, I like the individual story lines, but most importantly, to me at least, I am starting to see a great deal of growth in Ms. Balik’s writing. Jazz and Wilder were very likable and believable characters (well for shifters anyways!). Jazz’s character just made you want to give him a big ol’ hug and try to make him feel better. My two biggest problems were Ms. Balik went to great length to portray Jazz in a certain way at the beginning of the story and then suddenly he was suddenly the exact opposite. It felt that there was a portion of the story that was missing to account for that. Also, there was a revelation for Jazz at the end that never got resolved. Hopefully, that will come up in an upcoming book in the series or if my suspicions are correct given what, or who, was introduced in this one, a spin-off series and we’ll get the answer. All in all if are a fan of Ms. Balik, shifters, hurt/comfort, M/M, HEA or just a plain old good read I would definitely get this book!
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
Jazz and Wilder were great characters. I enjoyed seeing Jazz find his confidence and learning his worth. Wilder was perfect for Jazz, loving him and, even though he feared for him, not holding him back. All in all a very enjoyable read.
