Sometimes, a date from hell is just what you need…
When Erin thoughtlessly lays a curse on Mark, her cheating ex-husband, she doesn’t expect a well-dressed Great Earl of Hell to show up in her kitchen to fulfill the curse (and make damn good coffee while he’s at it).
Andromalius specializes in wickedness and revenge. He’s ready, willing, and able to rain down hell on Erin’s ex—but when Mark … ex—but when Mark announces a hasty new marriage, Erin needs more than just revenge.
She needs a date to the wedding.
Fans of Good Omens, Lucifer, and The Good Place will love this wickedly funny paranormal romantic comedy!

A breezy, lighthearted paranormal romance novel that questions the satisfaction of getting back at an old flame. You can read my full review here: https://laurasbooksandblogs.com/kate-moseman-book-review-interview/
Funny, Paranormal romance.
The book starts with Erin who wants revenge on her ex-husband who cheated on her with her best friend. That was when Andy comes into the story. He has his own plans and he agrees to be Erin’s boyfriend for the ex-husband’s subsequent marriage.
Through the story, Andy makes Erin realize that what she had until now was not a real life and that it was time that she started living life on her own terms. She makes new friends for herself, tries to find her own likes and dislikes. That was pretty sweet.
The slow romance between Andy and Erin was another cute story as they slowly come to understand each other.
Overall, it was an enjoyable paranormal romance story with a little humour sprinkled on it.
~4.5 STARS~
A Good Demon is Hard to Find by Kate Moseman is a cute, sweet, and funny paranormal romantic comedy!!!!
Erin has had a rough go of it lately. She is newly divorced. Her ex cheated with no other than her now ex-best friend. What’s a betrayed woman to do…in Erin’s case she puts a curse on him. She certainly isn’t expecting a demon to show up in her kitchen to help her. Andromalius, Andy, is there in her time of need. His specialty is revenge.
Erin and Andy are so cute together. Not only do they discover things about each other, but they discover things about themselves. Andy is irresistible. He is a demon, but there is also a lot of good in him too…hence the title.
Erin put aside some of her own desires and beliefs to make her ex happy, and through Andy she learns she never has to do that again. She can be true to herself and still love someone and be loved like she deserves.
The synopsis only scratches the surface of the book. There is a wedding, and Andy is her date. Through their time together, this unlikely match develops real feelings for one another. When her friend, Raya, and another demon, Phoenix, get involved, hilarity and chaos ensue.
Moseman took the genres of romance, paranormal, comedy, and chick lit and wrapped them up flawlessly to create a heck of an enjoyable read! Can’t wait to read Raya and Phoenix’s book when it releases!
This is a fun, light, paranormal romantic comedy. Erin is rightfully enraged at her ex-husband Mark, who not only cheated on her with her best friend, but now wants Erin to stop going to their church because he feels uncomfortable seeing her there. Honestly how he has the hide to show his face in the church when everyone there knows what he’s done is… yeah, well, let’s just say *I* wouldn’t have that much chutzpah.
The fun starts when Erin accidentally curses Mark and a nattily dressed Great Earl of Hell turns up to help out. Andromalius “Andy” just wants to make sure Erin gets suitable revenge; he’s frankly kinda bored since most humans just don’t know how to lay a good curse these days. But Erin’s basically a good person who doesn’t want anything too terrible to happen to Mark really, and then she finds out he’s getting married and needs a date to the wedding, and well, Andy’s right there…
This is a pretty quick read, and honestly it’s a lot of fun. I wouldn’t think too deeply about the plot because you’re going to start seeing any number of holes (does it REALLY not occur to Erin to ask what the price is for the deal before she shakes hands on it?) and there’s also quite a few things which are raised and then just dropped without being dealt with. Like Andy’s friend Phoenix pointing out that gender is just a habit for most immortals and asking how Andy will raise that with Erin, or Andy’s own thoughts about how things just aren’t going to work out because of that pesky immortal/mortal problem. These are real issues which would affect their relationship and they’re raised and then just… forgotten about.
I did enjoy this, but I wished it was about 25% longer to deal with all the plot points that were left floating. Four stars.

Erin is a firecracker and after-the-soon-to-be-ex husband is out of the house Erin opens a bottle a wine and curses his name. So its only perfectly natural to wake up to a sharp dressed Demon who is there to see her curse go through. We’ll call him Andy and he’ll be Erin’s fake boyfriend, fake date, for Ex-husband’s hasty new wedding? Along the way Witch Raya and demon Phoenix not only help torment Mark through nightmares they also enjoy going to the mall to find the perfect revenge date dress. Throw an old dog and nosy mother and you have Erin’s new single life. Is she really single if she is paling around with a good looking Demon with nothing else to do?
The ending is sharp, you expect a few more pages at least, but I went into knowing the story would continue through Raya and Phoenix. You can make jokes or you can make death threats. Or Both. Enjoy the great characters you’ll find in A Good Demon is Hard to Find.
This wonderfully written storyline with characters that were very likable, believable and engaging made this book a very enjoyable and entertaining read!
Start to finish this was a great book, the characters are fantastic whether they are loveable, sassy, judgey or a little lost and so leads to plenty of laughs as we watch Erin get use to Andy being around and all his grand plans to seek revenge on her douch of an ex. This book was so much fun and I really hope we get a book about Raya and Phoenix as I really want to get to know then more too!!!

This book is hilarious. Erin and Andy’s relationship is one of the best I’ve read about in a while. The pace wasn’t rushed at all, nor was it too slow. There were hardly any errors, if at all, so it was definitely a professionally written and edited book. I absolutely loved every character. Erin and Raya were an amazing duo; their friendship was absolutely admirable. Andy was very sweet, especially for a demon, and he reminded me of Michael (Good Place). Phoenix was a great sidekick, and I always looked forward to his ideas and remarks. He and Raya were extremely amusing together, and I hope there’s an additional book that focuses on their friendship.
