In need of a little quick cash, Alfhild Daemonne has reluctantly agreed to host a convention for her deceased grandmother’s old sorority society. But only on the explicit condition everyone behaves.
When several dozen elderly witches—both alive and dead—descend on Whittle Inn, chaos isn’t far behind.
In addition to a cackling cohort of bumptious witches with … to a cackling cohort of bumptious witches with finicky eating habits and their squad of unruly familiars, the sudden appearance of an elevator with a mind of its own means our poor old Alf has a lot on her hands.
Then, when a witch is found dead in The Snug, Alf calls in a detective from the Ministry of Witches, and unfortunately that puts her at loggerheads with her ex, DS George Gilchrist.
Who amongst this gaggle of ghastly grandmamas finished off their rival? Can Alf restore sanity? Will she ever have a moment’s peace?

Set aside most of a day for this family-friendly tale in which Alf and the gang decide to have a February board game week to raise the funds to repair or replace the ailing boiler at Whiffle Inn.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
As usual an interesting array of dead and undead. Alfid arranged a week of games per her gramma. But things as usual turned out bad. Silvan, Alphid and Ezra have their hands full. Mean mischef and death is all this mean witch knows. Alf ought to follow her instincts more so people won’t die.
Fun Adventure at The Wonky Sorority Reunion
What a fantastic episode! This is the tenth in a series that should really be read in order to get the most enjoyment. A sorority of Grandmama’s long time friends – what could possibly go wrong? Yes. Only everything. This is a very good addition to the series. I loved it! I have read the entire series and will recommend it to everyone. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
