When flamboyant senior sleuth Sadie Kramer learns the owner of Cioccolato, her favorite chocolate shop, is in trouble, she heads for the California wine country with a tote-bagged Yorkie and a slew of questions. The fourth generation Tremiato Winery promises answers, but not before a dead body turns up at the vintners’ scheduled Harvest Festival. All four Tremiato siblings have possible motives, … motives, as well as a few peripheral acquaintances, but only one could be the guilty party. As Sadie juggles truffles, tips and turmoil, she’ll need to sort the grapes from the wrath in order to find the identity of the killer.

Every once in a while I just want a nice, entertaining book that I can curl up with. Deborah Garner came through with a Flair for Chardonnay (even though I prefer Pinot Gris). Great story line and I didn’t figure out the killer until the very end. I would love to meet Sadie and Coco!
A wonderfully eccentric sleuth!
i really enjoyed reading this series of books by this author.
Love the characters.
I dint enjoy it as much as her other stories. Just so-so.
Good read
Great book!
I enjoyed this easy-to-read book. I always enjoy books about the wine country. I also enjoy a strong female main character with a sense of humor.
Good book
Gets a bit bogged down in the middle.
Predictable.
Predictable story line. Canine character could have been handled better. Didn’t lend anything to story, not humerous, helplful, etc. Okay time killer
Light mystery
It was a very good read and I would recommend it.
It was an easy, enjoyable read.
An engrossing cozy mystery with an unexpected ending.
This was a fast easy read. Was not an intense mystery but good if you like to try and figure out the ending.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and had a hard time putting it down
This is not one of my favorites as the premise is a bit too ridiculous. It’s a mystery but one that the heroine was not asked to solve. It’s like she barged in on a family’s business because one of the brothers owns a store next to hers. She is enamored with herself, her dog and chocolate. I agree with the chocolate part.
It did not really entertain me, but I kept reading to find out ‘who done it’ on the murder mystery.
Enjoyable read with interesting plot & characters.
