This is one of those books where you think at the end: Hey yes, this is real love. Despite all the setbacks, Brianne and Dante find each other and there is respect and ultimately love between the two. For son Tommy, a man has come into his life that he can look up to instead of his father who often does not keep his promises. A nice story, easy to read and makes you feel good when you put the book away. Recommended

It’s my first time reading a book by this author, so I didn’t know what to expect. This is a sweet and clean, slow burn romance with a heartwarming story about courage, friendship, and new beginnings. The storyline was artfully crafted and kept my interest throughout the entire book. The author does a great job of describing the scenes in such detail that you have no trouble picturing them in your mind. The characters are authentic and well defined and they faced real life challenges. There is not only a romance but a story of healing and redemption with plenty of plot twists along the way. A highly recommended read!

A great, clean and enjoyable romance. How can you not like a romantic story that involves a handsome firefighter? The story line is smooth flowing and the characters are strong, well developed and have a definite spark between them. A book you’ll be glad you added to your reading list.

A Firefighter’s Luck was an enjoyable, fast-paced, slow burn, clean romance. Brianna is a single mom struggling to make ends meet. Dante, who used to make one bad decision after another, decided to turn his life around by becoming a firefighter and renting a room from Brianna.
Initially they all kind of dance around each other but eventually we start to see them make a connection and I loved watching Dante interact with Tommy and help him cope with the indifference he receives from his father.
Great story!
I really enjoyed Brianna and Dante’s story, Dante’s life had been pretty crappy until he needed to change it not for him but for someone else while Brianna is trying to get her life back together for her and her son after a divorce that left her son with an absentee father. There are plenty of emotions to go through and you will love and hate Dante at times and want nothing but the best for Brianna, I really liked how this felt so real with all the emotions and characters you really connect with and trust be there are some devastating revelations that occur and make you want to wrap both Brianna, Tommy and Dante in a big ole hug!

King of bad decisions.
Dante keeps making poor choices because quite frankly, he’s shallow. He hooked up with Sherri, had a kid he didn’t know about then started hooking up with her again. Then he got his truck stolen by Sherri after a delusion to be an instant family goes wrong.
I did not like Dante. He’s had to like.
Brianna deserved better. She’s a struggling single mom and they are cohabitating.
Dante is carefree and not so responsible. When he finds out that he has a daughter, he sets out to improve his life so maybe he can be a part of her life – he goes to school, becomes a firefighter, leaves the crummy motel and rents a room in a home. Brianna’s home. She’s single mom to Tommy (a handful at times), struggling because her ex-husband is perpetually behind in child support. Dante is a good tenant, but he becomes more like family, and proves to be a great role model for Tommy. This is a nice book, one that I enjoyed reading. Dante and Brianna have good chemistry together, but don’t want to cross the line in their relationship. I love how Dante breaks the gender role expectations with Tommy, teaching him to cook, clean and do laundry, and also expects Tommy’s manners to improve. Nik – what’s not to love with her. She’s everybody’s friend, and tells is like it is when Dante needs a swift kick in the rear.

Enjoyed reading Brianna and Dante’s story. He came from a broken home but when he finds out he has a daughter he decides to be the best father he can so he becomes a firefighter and rents a room from Brianna. She is left raising a troubled teenage son and needs the extra money and also she thinks it will help her son to have Dante in the house. This is a wonderful romance with some added twists and loved the relationship that Brianna and Dante had even if they did not know it until later.
Dante wasn’t a good person when he found out he had a daughter with his ex lover Sherri. She doesn’t want him or their child, but Dante accepts Lily has a good stepfather raising her and he just wants a chance to be in her life, so he decides to get a steady job and turn his life around for her. Brianna is stuck raising a sullen preteen and dealing with her deadbeat ex-husband. She needs extra money and decides to rent a room to Dante. Dante ends up being a good guy, who teaches her son how to be a gentleman, but can she trust him with her heart? I laughed at the way Dante showed Tommy that real men cook and clean and stood up to her weasel of an ex.This was a small town people can change romance.

Dante had things from his past that he was not proud of and learned having a daughter that the mother left with her ex was one of them. This gives him something to make him want to be better and he sets out to do that. But he wasn’t expecting to meet Brianna who was a single mother and she needed a roommate to earn extra money to make ends meet. He moves in with her thinking this would give him more stability for when he fights for visitation with his daughter, but he never planned on falling for her or her son. Good read.

Dante was someone who lived as though he didn’t have a care in the world he was not too responsible ane didn’t really have the drive to do better. He had an on and off sexual relationship with Sherri who has gotten married and informed him that they had a daughter and he agreed to let her husband continue to raise her as the father. After Sherri took off in his truck and left him stranded he decided to be a better person for his daughter. Dante became a firefighter and rented a room from Brianna who is a single mother. Dante began to get close to not only her son but her as well. Right, when things began to look up for them Sherri comes back with some devastating news and Brianna’s ex-husband began stopping by more often after learning Dante was living there. It was good to see the growth in Dante and Brianna along with her son.
