From the New York Times bestselling author of Pucked and A Lie for a Lie, a new stand-alone romance about trading favors, battling wills, and winning love. When I joined Seattle’s NHL expansion team, I thought it was the start of something great. But nothing ever goes the way you expect. Take my introduction to my new neighbor. She came rolling in on the hot mess express at midnight, making a … mess express at midnight, making a racket while she tried to get into my team captain’s apartment. Did I mention that he’s married to a woman who definitely was not her?
Imagine my surprise when I end up with an injury that has me out of the game for weeks, and she’s the one to offer to help me. I should probably add that she’s not the captain’s mistress. She’s his sexy, pastel-haired younger sister.
So we come up with an arrangement: she rehabs me so that I can get back on the ice sooner, and she can add a professional athlete that isn’t her brother to her client list. Seems simple enough. As long as I can keep my hands to myself and my hormones in check.

I suck in a deep breath, inhaling her sweet smell. It’s making me hungry for cake, or a muffin.

Stevie moves into her brother’s apartment late at night and is a complete mess since she found her boyfriend cheating on her. While attempting to get into the apartment her new neighbor comes out and gives off an incredibly bad first impression. After driving each other crazy and Bishop gets injured, Stevie offers to help him with his rehab. Now they just need to keep it professional.

OMG! Bishop and Stevie’s banter was unbelievably hilarious and they had me laughing out loud so many times. I truly enjoyed the growth of their relationship from fighting to flirting. There are some great side characters that I hope will get their own books in the future. I enjoyed that this book never really had the “big fight” and was more of a misunderstanding that needed to get past and grow from. This series is sure to put a smile on your face and I highly recommend.

Jacob Morgan and Erin Mallon definitely made this audiobook hilarious and extremely enjoyable to listen to.
One of the best things about Helena Hunting’s books is her banter and the sense of humor her characters have. Friends, she brought it on this one! From the get go I was laughing until I was crying. The way she describes the scene in their “meet cute” is amazing. She perfectly describes it without being wordy. And Bishop is the grumpiest grump around, and I just knew he was going to fall hard and fast. Stevie is the chick we all want to be friends with. She is witty, adorable, and smart as a whip. As a reader you immediately shipping these two.
If you have a soft sport for a grumpy hero, a sassy heroine and can overlook questionable pizza toppings this is the book for you.
But really, this entire series is a MUST read for any romance reader. If you haven’t ever read a hockey series this is a perfect place to start!
“I ogle Bishop like he is a triple layed chocolate cake during period week.”
Haha, I loved Stevie!!!
This is the sequel in the All In series but can be read as a standalone.
This story follows Stevie, RJ’s little sister from the previous book, who finds herself unexpectedly homeless, single and stuck. In walks a jerk from across her brothers door, mouthing her off and making her feel even worse than she already feels. To then learn that’s Bishop, professional hockey player and team mate to her brother.
Unfortunately Bishop finds himself injured after a transition game and needing a Physio – and who better to ask them the girl across the hall from him whose needing more credit for her OT work since recently graduating.
Stevie & Bishop definitely have lust chemistry between them and to add on that emotional friendship level, they were bound to end up in each other’s arms. I loved this story as it was a true enemies to lovers, friends to lovers with banter, giggles and true love.

A sexy slow burn, enemies-to-lovers that will make you laugh, hot and swoon.
Stevie and Bishop get off on the wrong foot ever since they met. And it doesn’t help that he believes that she’s having an affair with his team’s Captain. This starts a set of antagonism between them is full of funny banter and sexual tension. When Stevie offers to help him after an ice injury, and he discovers she’s Rook’s younger sister, it sets a chain reaction of denying their chemistry.
Bishop became one of my favorite heroes. Yes he’s brooding and has an attitude, but he’s also has a very sweet side that not everyone gets to see. He takes care of his brother and focuses on his career in order to keep helping his brother. And though it was fun to read about the antagonism between him and Stevie, I loved how his opinion on Rook got worst when he thought she was his sidepiece.
A must read Author. Read everything she writes!
Another amazing book by Helena Hunting. Bishop & Stevie totally delivered. The spark between them is off the charts
Audio review:
Gah, I loved everything about Stevie and Bishop. This story was fun and flirty, the sexual tension was insane, and that epilogue was perfect.
Erin and Jacob did an amazing job of narrating this book!
A favor worth asking
Talk about a slow burn!!!!! The teasing and torturing moments between bishop and Stevie lead the most explosive moments ever!
I love that we get to see the relationships develop throughout the book, lovers, siblings, best friends, teammates.
Hunting creates characters that I want to be my real life friends.
Oh and bishop’s underwear collection is

A Favor For A Favor was such a wonderful addition to the All In Series!
I enjoyed the start of Stevie and Bishop’s relationship filled with animosity, but also charged with undeniable attraction. They just match so well and when Stevie helps Bishop with his rehabilitation after an injury, sparks are flying between them! Their conversations are so funny and flirtatious after all the hate they shared at first. I was literally dying for them to bring their friendship to the next level, because their chemistry was that explosive.
I enjoyed seeing Rook (hero from A Lie For A Lie) as Stevie’s protective big brother. Bishop doesn’t have the best relationship with him, sharing a certain rivalry with his new teammate. It certainly makes things even more complicated with his feelings for the woman growing stronger.
The narrators did a fantastic job giving life to these amazing protagonists. It was a pleasure as always to watch beloved characters from the Pucked Series intermingle.
A Favor For A Favor had me totally captivated and entertained! Between laugther and tension, emotion and passion, this couple was the best!
This one was a KU read with the audio attached. I started one way but quickly fell into the other. And things just went smooth sailing from there. not his sister
Rook and Lainey had tied the knot and moved to a new state. Now it’s time for some time together and away for a while. So why not allow your sister to stay at your place. Stevie was not your typical female. She was young, strong and determined to make it on her own without using her famous brother for anything. That was until she walked in on her leave-in boyfriend banging another girl on the couch that her brother bought for them on her birthday. This makes life take on a whole new meaning. Then to top it all off she had a late night run-in with her neighbor Bishop.
Bishop knows he has no right to be all up in his teammates ‘ business. He does not even like his new team captain. So why does he care that he had a side chick on the side. He doesn’t. Or does he. This was fun from beginning to end. I found it to be filled with rich characters, chemistry, sass and charm.
Overall 4 out of 5 stars
Performance 4 out of 5 stars
Story 4 out of 5 stars
Erin Mallon and Jacob Morgan bring the characters right off the pages and in vivid imagery. I loved having this narration done with two different and both equally strong narrators.
I’ve enjoyed this spin off series by Helena Hunting. You don’t have to be familiar with hockey to enjoy this series.
Ahhh Shippy and Stevie. Two great characters with hilarious quick wit and banter. They both give as good as they get. A true perfect match for one another.
From the very beginning, I found Stevie’s inner dialogue hilarious. She’s so weird and goofy in her own way. She’s not someone that is a “way out there” odd but doesn’t care what those close to her really think either. With being RJ’s little sister, she’s had to deal with a lot of attention that wasn’t always authentic. So when she deals with the grumpy neighbor, Bishop, it’s a breath of fresh air. She knows he’s not around her to get close with her brother.
Bishop has his own faults but grows as a character, with the help of Stevie. She truly makes him a better person. The olive to her pineapple. He’s a hard working, dedicated person. While he’s not the chocolates and flowers type of guy, neither is Stevie. They don’t have to be the cliché couple with a big grand gesture. Just going back to the simple is what works for them.
What started out as favors for each other, after they got over their hate for one another, created a great friendship foundation – which then in turn grew into a fantastic, explosively amazing relationship. I highly recommend reading this hockey rom-com if you’re looking for a laugh out loud story. Do yourself a favor and read this.
This fantastic story is about RJ’s (from A Lie For A Lie) little sister, Stevie and his teammate Bishop. Hot, hot, hot!! Super sizzling chemistry and lots of fun banter. This is like an enemies to friends to lovers story and I couldn’t put it down. So excited to read book 3. Although this is a standalone, its great to read this series in order and see the characters visiting each book.
I couldn’t get enough of Bishop and Stevie! Their craziness and humor was addictive!Helena Hunting is the queen of Hockey Romance! A must read series!
Another five star from Helena Hunting! I loved this one so much and cannot wait for the next in the All In series. Stevie and Bishop were amazing. My only complaint is how Rook acted but hey he can’t be perfect all the time. If you are looking for a sports romance series, I highly recommend this one!
Bishop Winslow – the new player on the team and a serious contender to take over the top Hockey Hottie spot from Randy Ballistic. Let’s just say at this point, it’s a tie! Maybe.u2063

A Favor for a Favor gives us Stevie’s story, Rook’s sister. She moves into Rook’s apartment, across the hall from Bishop after breaking up with her boyfriend. From their very first meeting, I knew this book was going to be fun!u2063

Their banter was AMAZING! It was especially great in their “I hate you” phase. These two were perfect for each other and continued to challenge each other every step of the way. The whole morning underwear competition/daily flirting session was the best!u2063

Much like book one, this book continues on the emotional track (with a little hockey) and allows us to see inside each character a little more. I love that about this series! u2063

We also get to continue to see Alex and Violet, which was great! I’m always ready for a few Violet outbursts! u2063
Helena H knows how to deliver a sexy sport romance with amazing characters. I absolutely loved this book. I was hooked right from the start and read it in one sitting.
This book is tear-jerkingly funny, I laughed so hard, I embarrassed myself, and had to put it down in public.
It’s a must-read; Stevie is the best, she is one of a kind, this book has sexiness, sparks and hockey perfection.
I couldn’t put this book down before I reached the end. I loved the characters – they are very relatable, interesting and sometimes really funny. I liked the pace of the story – not too fast and not too slow. I can recommend this book to romance readers.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
