This is a heartwarming Christmas story, and Grace and Lysander are wonderful together. All right, who names their kid Lysander?
The meaning of Lysander is “liberator” (also “one who is freed”). A compound name comprising of the elements “lysis” (freedom) and “andros” (man). In Greek history, Lysander was a Spartan naval and military commander in 400 BC. Also the name of a character in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Now that is out of the way. I loved the story.
A heartwarming fun, sweet, and well written quick romance. Included strong, likeable, and interesting characteres with a great storyline. It about life, loss, love, and chemistry. This young widower of two children was no match for his matchmaking neighbors who were like surrogate grandparents to his children. A must read short smooth flowing short romance story.

Lysander is a lawyer who moves to Georgia with his kids, George and Lily and their dog Sawyer.
Grace is tired of her boyfriend making excuses every time they have to do something together.
A sweet book with all the elements we love in a book: small town, single daddy, sweet neighbours, Christmas and romance, of course.
I like Jan and Charlie. They are great neighbours, never judging and always helping. They are sweet and generous.

This was a cute, sweet romance. Lysander moves to a new town and is a single father. I like that he is a hard worker and loves his kids. It was interesting watching his relationship grow with Grace’s parents, who happen to be his next-door neighbors. Grace is a hard worker, but is living in a comfort zone with her boyfriend. I enjoyed watching the sparks fly between Lysander and Grace. I recommend this book to those that enjoy sweet, clean, and short holiday romance.

I loved this story it is so well-written that it is almost like you are watching it happen. This is Grace, Lysander and his two children Lily and George ‘s story. I am glad I decided to buy the paperback and then I received an e-copy from Booksprout. This is a good book to take on Holidays.
I really enjoyed reading A Family For Christmas. I love Christmas stories to begin with and add that to a sweet romance and it hits everything for me. The characters were well written, and I loved that it was located in the South. Bad things happen to good people and it is nice to see that things are handled in a good way. Yet, wary of having it happen again.
It is my first book by Marian Wilson, and I was pleasantly impressed. It is a well written clean story. I liked Lysander, he is amazing with his kids and with the others but he is human, he’s not portraied in an unrealistic way. He is mature, he knows what he wants, and Grace can relax in his strength, can find in him what she was looking for, even if she didn’t know from the beginning that’s what she wanted.
Reading the book was refreshing and relaxing.

Grace was dating a loser who put himself first and often put her down, but she was stuck and afraid to break up with him and make a change after four years together. Widower Lysander moves next door to her parents with his two children and despite a rocky meeting there is an attraction between them. His children George and Lily love her and her parents love Lysander. But can she break free from Aaron and take a chance with her heart with a thoughtful gentleman like Lysander? There were plenty of sweet and funny moments in this holiday romance. George and Lily were so cute. My only wish is that there had been an epilogue.
A Family for Christmas may fit the bill if you are wanting to read a quick, uplifting romance. The writing was fine, and I did care what happened to the lead character. I thought the hero’s character was a bit too perfect. There wasn’t much to the plot. In fact, I couldn’t remember much of the book a few days later. I guess I could describe it as a nice book, if not compelling.

Grace is in a relationship that goes nowhere, and lately she feels that her boyfriend may be dishonest to her. When she is visiting her parents she is meeting their new neighbor, Lysander. He is a widower with two small children. Predictably they are attracted to each other and the children, her parents and her best friend try to play Cupid. It makes for a few funny situations.
A warm-hearting story in the romance Christmas mood, entertaining and utterly enjoyable.

Lysander and his two children move in next door to a sweet older couple. When his babysitter quits on him, they offer to help out. Their daughter, Grace, is in a 4 year dead end relationship with Aaron, a man who doesn’t give her much of his time she constantly cancels their plans. When Grace and Lysander meet, there’s an instant connection, but what about Aaron? This is a sweet, clean, romantic short story about this little family and their neighbors. I enjoyed the book. I liked the characters and the story. The ending was a bit too abrupt.
This is a sweet, sweet story of a lawyer and his two kids (a boy and a girl) and the lovely lady he falls in love with. It’s an easy read with interesting characters. I love it when the characters feel like friends. Highly recommend.

This story is told wonderfully well with a young widower with two children and the older couple next door who become surrogate grandparents to these charming children. Lysander then meets their daughter Grace when the young boy runs toward the street to get his ball. She is angry with Lysander because of his inattention of his children and sparks fly.
Grace is in a four year relationship so Lysander keeps his distance from her but maybe fate has something up it’s sleeve!!!!!!

What a delightful Christmas story. A very quick read. This is a clean and entertaining story.
It is exciting, emotional, fun, heart-warming and so much more.
I was given a review copy by Booksprout and Love Light Faith and voluntarily review it.
Romance of the best degree! Honestly I don´t really know what to say, this one is just a really really good romance!!! The characters are great, the family play is great, everything is just as it should be in this story. So I can really recommend it if you like romances that don´t include a serious villain as well. 🙂 This is also my very honest review.
