A Family Affair is where it all began…Heartache, Betrayal, Forgiveness, Redemption…all wrapped up in the people you will love to love, and those you will love to hate! When Christine Blacksworth’s larger-than-life father is killed on an icy road in Magdalena, New York, a hundred miles from the ‘getaway’ cabin he visited every month, she discovers a secret that threatens everything she’s always … threatens everything she’s always held to be true. Her father has another family which includes a mistress and a daughter.
Determined to uncover the truth behind her father’s secret life, Christine heads to Magdalena, prepared to hate the people who have caused her to question everything she thought she knew about her father. But what she finds is a woman who understands her, a half sister who cherishes her, and a man who could love her if she’ll let him. The longer she’s around them, the more she questions which family is the real one. . .

I really liked the story and that it didn’t have a ton of characters which can make it confusing.
Already reviewed. Great book . Mystery and couldn’t wait to get to the end.
Family ties and inspiration. I recommend strongly.
Great read! Love this author!
Enjoyable start to finish!
Loved the writing style. Great character development and plot. Characters are realistic in most ways. The story peaked at different points, keeping the reader interested, and reminded the reader that everything is never as it seems.
Different story line. Great book!
Loved this book Characters seem like real people that you see every day. Would highly recommend this author
Unusual but very interesting book!!!!
This was a very engaging story. The characters told a story that is very true to life. It showed why people may do things upon which society frowns. It begs the questions–“How important is our own happiness while trying not to hurt our family.”
I enjoyed this book very much. A different type of storyline#
Enjoyed reading it. Read at least a book a day. Don’t remember exactly but I keep a list of titles I’ve read.
A well written book. Entertaining.
Great story-great characters-good book! It left you feeling happy!
This book kept my interest throughout the story. A few twists and surprises included.
Learning to forgive, is not easy, but with God’s help, it will happen.
The twists and turns of a wintry road is repeated through out the twists and turns of the chacters’ stories. A well told story of reality in fiction.
So good!!
This book showed how easy it is to misunderstand relationships from the outside. It was heartwarming to have Christene listen and make her own decisions ending up with a larger loving family
Good suspense on family secrets and the devastation those secrets create.
I liked the openness of the main character. Disliked the steam.
