What’s with the snow in the deep south? Every morning Sam, earth witch, wakes up to a fresh blanket of snow. Does the new water witch have a thing for the white stuff? Sam doesn’t have time to ponder as the new owner of Windemere Manor has invited half the town to a welcoming party at the mansion itself. But could there still be black magic left at the Manor. Mara, wind witch, has already had her … her bout with black magic. She doesn’t want to go through that again.
However, someone isn’t going to make it out of the party alive. Is it the lingering black magic or something even worse? Now the town’s rumor mill is ramping up. Could the murder be caused by something supernatural? It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities. There’s also a revelation in store for the twin detectives. And will David ever come up with a smoothie that’s drinkable?

I love this series! This time it starts snowing out of nowhere, but Sam know it’s got to be Genevive since she’s such a new water witch. And someone has bought the manor, but who? Such fun characters and the murder mystery is always enjoyable to solve.

Things just aren’t going well at Windemere Manor. There is snow and half the town is invited to a party. Is this the work of some leftover black magic, or is something else going? Mara is really hoping not, once was enough for her to deal with black magic. Then there is another murder. Lots of things going on, but can they be fixed? That is for you to read the book to find out. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from Booksprout.
A Drop In The Potion has brought to Goodsprings another murder. Not just a murder, but revelation of others living in Goodsprings. This book kept my interest as I wondered about the different characters that was introduced. Can’t wait to read the next installment.

A mysterious stranger buys the Windermere Mansion and invites the whole town. The coven is complete again since they have found their water witch. However she is still learning her skills resulting in some interesting weather. I really enjoy how the girls use their individual skills and powers to solve the murders. They all help. I enjoyed the twist about the detective twins. I had a whole lot of fun reading this book! I look forward to more!
Thick Snow in Georgia
This is a fun addition to the series. Plenty of paranormal happenings, a locked door murder, and nightly snow. What a hoot! This cozy mystery is full of fun and things we did not know existed. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
With a novice water witch in their coven since that last water witch went dark and tried to kill them all, a few hiccups with the weather were to be expected. A week of snow in a temperate climate was a bit much- yet it turns out to be not the worst of their problems.
Flu epidemic, mystery murder, vampires and damphirs and mystics, oh my!
A lot of laughs and fun – despite the mayhem and singular murder

Someone has bought the home of the old water witch, who is now a frog. If you don’t know why she is a frog and want too, read the series, it is funny, has its serious moments, murder mysteries to solve, spells gone wrong, and much more. In this story the new owner of the manor decides to throw a ball and invite everyone in town. Of course, they all go, wanting to know who would buy such a big house. During the party there is a murder that the coven needs to solve and the new water witch is having trouble with her spells, creating havoc by dumping snow every night in Goodsprings, GA, where it seldom snows. A great series, hard to put down, you have spells gone wrong, paranormal activity (nothing scary), great characters, good editing, and a great plot, what more could you want in a cozy. I can’t wait to see what the next book has in store for Mara, Sam, Tessa and the rest of the gang.

Another mysterious murder. Samantha and the rest of her coven along, with two twin detectives must solve a murder. A murder which took place in the Windermere house, recently bought by a mysterious owner. When they finally meet Mr. Bluth he seems a little pale, and his butler is odd. Something will be revealed about Samantha’s friends, the two twin detectives Ethan and Ada. Something the twins didn’t know. This is a very fast-paced book – more than usual for this series. The characters, as usual, are so wonderful with Sam and the coven. This is an excellent closed room murder mystery that had me baffled!

This is a fun read about murder and a spell gone wrong. The characters are interesting and the story kept my attention with red herrings and humor in the mix. And we learn a bit more about the twin detectives that will add a new story twist.

Wow, this sure is a very busy book! There was so much going on, a “flurry” of activity! Sam is going to be very busy resolving problems this time! In the deep south, it begins to snow, and quite a bit of it! What is causing this phenomenon? Then someone gets murdered. Is it black magic or something else?
This was a very enjoyable mystery – I even went back and bought the other books in the series! Good characters, well-paced story line, and a touch of humor that definitely pulls in the reader for a good story. Grab your copy and see if you can figure out what’s going on before Sam and the coven do!
I like the idea behind this series, but honestly this felt like someone took a large breathe and then spoke the whole book at me without taking a break!
There is very little character development, and there is little to no mystery, Its a shame there is potential, I did read the book from start to finish so it is not all bad, Just feels like it needs some work
If you want to lose 30 minutes by all means read the book, hopefully things improve as the series moves on.

Sam, an earth witch has a lot to contend with in this story, as well as her smoothie shop she has an inexperienced water witch who is accidentally making it snow every night (in the deep south?) but then there is the mysterious new owner of the manor house and the discovery of a dead body there at the first open house.
This series is changing tack slightly with more paranormal elements but still retains the elements that make it very readable and enjoyable, the characters and the clever plots.
I am looking forward to seeing where the story goes next.
I received an advance copy of the book from the author, but have voluntarily reviewed it.
Gets better and better.
The new water witch is young and needs to learn her craft. As a result, she accidently makes it snow every night. She can’t find how to reverse it. Problem is that this is Georgia, and it does not snow here. Will bring attention to the town.
The other issue is that someone has bought Windermere Manor. Who is this person? What is going over there?
Why are the twins always so tired looking? What does the new person know?
Fast fun easy to read. Can be read by itself. But will enjoy better if go back and catch up on series.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
