It was sometimes difficult to read as my eyes sometimes got a little “watery”. Great story for anyone who loves dogs and how they act; re-act to their Human partner.
Also, watching a boy grow into a man.

A heartwarming story
This was a very emotional book that a dog lover would easily relate to. I loved it!!
Good but reads like a YA book
Man’s best friend helped a young boy build character and believe in himself.
A simple fun book. Writing was fine. A good dog story.
P
Loved th his book sad but really interesting
Toby and his mother have moved to a new town after the divorce. He is lost and unhappy about the move. He meets a stray dog who is loving and wise. As the boy starts to find his way in life, the dog is always by his side. The dog narrates part of the book and so does the boy. Very well written and a great story.
This book is touching, heartbreaking, and inspiring. The end of the book is sad, but satisfying. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
I listened to the audio version and I was a bit confused at first because it’s the same voice representing both the dog and the boy and when the narration switched from one to the other the first time, I didn’t realize what had happened. After the momentary confusion, I had no problem. The narrator did a very nice job.
What a great story about the unconditional love of a dog. LOVED THIS BOOK!
This is a wonderful emotional story about an unbreakable bond and life journey between a boy and his dog
