Dr. Jared O’Connor has given his parents a promise–to find his dead brother’s fiancee and child. But his mission is derailed when he meets beautiful flight nurse Shelly Bennett. The sadness in her eyes, mirrors his own, and he is drawn to her and to her young son in a way he’s never experienced before. Shelly can’t afford to be distracted by Jared’s attention. Her son’s upcoming testing may … may confirm he has kidney failure–there’s no room for anything else in her life. But when Jared uncovers the truth, she realizes her days of running from the past are over. But can she forgive Jared long enough to accept his love?

simplistic easy read
So lovely!
I enjoy very much read this story.
Is a simple story about second chances in live.
The characters have their issues, but they can manage to overcome and go on with their lives.
The end is somehow a little rushed, could it be a little longer…and with an epilogue
A great clean a read..That is the kind I like to read with good characters.
Enjoy reading about the medical side of the story, as well as the characters.
This shows how small this world is. I loved reading this book!
Well written.
This was an easy to read book with interesting characters – highly recommend this if you are looking for a great book!
Sweet story like none other. Original and well written characters made this story even nicer! I also liked that there was no silly lover misunderstandings but when there was conflict, anger was expressed and resolved appropriately. Makes a book much more believable!
Forgiveness
Heartfelt enjoyable read!
Excellent writing relating family tragedy with happy resolution.
Great book
This was a sweet story. The major characters had integrity.
This book was great, I’ve recommended it to my sister and now she’s reading it!
Quick read easy for book at the pool
this book is a great read
Great family values
Was just a wonderful book to read. Very comforting.
An easy to read and good book, but it was the third book in a row that dealt with single moms who are overprotective of their children. I realize that this is a common, true-to-life problem, but I should have picked another book.
Very interesting storyline.
