Oh, life in Witherensea is as crazy as ever. Kim is excited to work on the matches for the supes in the community but is struggling with her ex-boyfriend, just turned vampire, hanging around as he fixates on her instead of truly turning. Add in Lucy, ex-Satan employee trying to build a life back on earth who is looking for love, and well, fun, mayhem and drama follow. I am enjoying life in Witherensea and the fun, sexy escape that is provides. There are so many great characters that delivers this amazing universe that I never know what will happen next. Lucy’s journey in this story is absolutely incredible, you need to read to find out what happens to her! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
I think I will be reading the whole series very quickly. Loving this world.
Second book of the series and it was just as fun and light hearted as the first . I look forward to reading book 3.
3.5
‘A Devil Of A Date’ is book two in Andie M. Long’s Supernatural Dating Agency series, which follows on from ‘The Vampire Wants a Wife’.
Kim now running the Supernatural side of the agency her new client Lucy the ex Devil is in a need for love. After being freed from Satan thanks to Shelley, Lucy has been struggling to adjust to life after being a Devil for the last 27 years. When she starts to feel like she is being evil again ash reaches out to the Supernatural Dating Agency to help find love. Being surrounded by Shelley, Kim, Theo and Frankie, Lucy starts to make friendships. But can the Agency help find the ex Devil with residual evil find love?
I just love this series, every character brings their own spunk to the stories, I loved that we were able to see a little with what is going on with Shelley and Theo after their wedding. Meeting new people and getting to see new sides to old characters was great. Lucy was so much fun to read about, her no filter attitude was hilarious, also the transformation she under goes from being an Devil to whatever she is was excellent. But the only down fall with this was story was Kim’s character, I felt that she was being a real cow with not listen to the advice given from Ebony, she could have risked the agency with the little extra to the contract and now there is a possible turf war… hmmm get over your little issues Kim and listen to what is being said to you.
But I am looking forward to the next book in the series ‘Hate, Date or Mate’.
Another fun, witty installment to the Supernatural Dating Agency series. I loved it!
This is book 2 in the series and although you don’t have to have read book 1, I’d recommend it as some of the back story will make more sense.
Lucy Fur is back from hello and looking for love so that she can get rid of her demon persona, so she joins the local supernatural dating agency and goes on a series of dates, meeting lots of different types of supernatural on the way.
This book is lighthearted and fun but still has lots going on with loads of sub characters and different sub-plots in the background. very enjoyable read.
The narrator was good, she put feeling into the words and I would definitely listen to more books she has narrated. A few more different voices for the characters would have made it perfect.
I love the premise of this series: a dating agency for supernatural species! This book continues the story set out in Book 1 and you really should read the first book in order to know the background for this book.
Kim is now running the Supernatural side of the Dating Agency while Shelly focuses on the human side. And, by the way, Shelly and her hot vampire hubby, Theo, have to try to make a baby during the one week in 100 years that he can do it. So, Kim is pretty much on her own.
Except, her best friend and former lover, Frankie, is now a vampire, but doesn’t seem to be able to do all the vampy things he should do, like drink blood. And, he can’t be away from Kim even for bathroom breaks! In the meantime, Lucy Fir is a recently released demon who needs to find love fast.
This book/series has vampires, seers, weres and shifters, angels, pixies, demons, ghosts and a few humans to entertain the reader. I loved the interaction between the species and the descriptions of Lucy’s horrible dates are LOL funny. There is plenty of snark, sexual innuendo and cursing, so if that bothers you, stay away!
The narrator, Angela Doll, does a good job, but I do have a few complaints about her performance. Her voices for the different characters are not distinct enough to know who is talking a lot of the time and I had to play catch up to know who was talking. Also, the book is obviously set in the UK, but Ms. Doll is very American in her speech.
I look forward to future adventures in the world of Supernatural dating and hope that Ms. Long continues the series for a long time. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author and chose to review it.
A Devil and a Date is the 2nd novel in the Supernatural Dating Agency series and another page-turner from Andie M Long. I am absolutely loving this series. Its fun, and amusing with cast of quirky characters you can’t help but love. This highly entertaining story had me hooked from beginning to end and I enjoyed every moment of it laughing aloud throughout the majority of the novel. This was a captivating read and I would highly recommend it ti all lovers of paranormal romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Angela Doll. She did a phenomenal job with the characters and varying their voices. Her pace and timing was excellent and she really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to her narrate this novel.
A Devil of a Date by Andie M. Long is a supernatural romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Angela Doll. This is the second book in the Supernatural Dating Agency series. I cannot wait to jump into book three.
I am a bit torn on Angela’s narration on this story. The Characters are supposed to be British but it’s an American narrator. I think Angela did a great job with using different voices for the women. However, she did not change the tone for the men’s character so it got a bit confusing at times.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romantic comedies.
More antics, extreme, hilarious fun from the PN dating agency. Witches, vampires, pixies, shifters, ghosts and even a demon looking for a date, plus the devil himself makes a appearance and wants his demon back.

Audiobook review:
A Devil Of A Date (Supernatural Dating Agency, Book 2) turns the spotlight on characters previously in book one as supporting character’s and gives them their own pov & suitor to pursue. Character’s are a variety of the supernatural kind with off-the-wall characteristics. A entertaining listen in this fun cosmos with paranormal mortals. Looking forward to listening to the next audiobook in this series.
Narator Angela Doll actually grew on me as I enjoyed listening to her voice narration more during this one than book one. Scarcastic undertones are well voiced.

Overflowing with laughter. This is a unique and engaging series with a plethora of supernatural creatures to enjoy. My heart went out to Frankie, and I rooted for him to gain self acceptance and embrace his changed status. I’m happy with the way things came together in the end. Aahhh! Great feels. The interactions and laughs are priceless. Looking forward to the next book. I thoroughly enjoyed the audible version of this story.
great series
I loved being back in Withernsea to see what the supernaturals and humans got up to this time. Another light and fun read.
What a fun sequel. I love the characters in this book. I feel like I’m walking in their shoes and they are so much more fun than mine! I’m looking forward to the next book.
A Devil Of A Date is another great read by Andie M. Long. This is the second book in the Supernatural Dating Agency series and it’s just as great as the first one. Full of humor, drama, suspense and an amazing cast of characters. Loved going on Lucy’s journey to find love and Kim’s reluctance to see her own destiny. I highly recommend this series to everyone looking for an fun entertaining read.
Such a great read.
A Devil of a Date: Kim being ‘stalked’ by Frankie her ex lover who happens to be a newly turned vampire. Theo and Shelley busy doing married couple things! Lucy trying to find love while setting everything on fire lol – this book is a hoot.
You can read this as a standalone, but I would recommend starting with book one so you know the characthers better.
A Devil of a Date by Andie M Long a five-star read that will set you alight. This is the second book in the supernatural dating series and what a series, you will be chuckling and having a screaming match with the book all the way through as its an emotional and funny and will keep you on your toes. If you asked me in public I would deny this, but I may have even snorted a couple of times with this book it was so funny!! Kim is by far my favourite character, she’s a little crazy in a good way and that makes her all right in my book. The situation with her newly deceased ex made me chuckle more than once, and her reasoning for not wanting to date the wolf as he has better hair than she does I totally get that, its why I like bald men!! But the Devil in this story is Lucy Fir, we follow her journey as she tries to find love to become more human less devil, as she no longer guards the gates of hell, she wants a life with more romance and less torturing. Can Kim find her the right man? or will it all end up in flames!! I’m a huge fan of the author so I may be biased but this is shaping up to be one of the best series I will read this year, and its only January that’s how good it is. It has a bit of everything in it. You need this series and this author in your life!!
A Devil of a Date continued with the storyline and characters introduced in the first book in this series. It was again a very light humorous read by Andie M. Long. I really like her sense of humor in her stories and yet again she didn’t dissappoint.
The story felt rather like an in-between, a build-up for the upcoming third book but it was an entertaining read nonetheless.
I love the cover works of the series I think the style suits well for the playfulness and humor you can find on the pages.
I love this series. The supernatural dating agency is back in full glory.
It picks up where the last book left off. Lucy is living in Whithensea after being released by Satan. However, is the devil still in her and can she change? Frankie has been turned from a Wizard to a Vampire, well nearly. He can’t seem to leave his former lover, Kims side. Kim is now having to find her fun elsewhere but with Frankie attached to her this isn’t going to be easy.
We meet up with the rest of the gang too.
Can the dating agency help Darius and Lucy find true love? Will Ebony’s predictions come true? Will there be trouble in Whithensea?
Bring on book 3. April needs to be here like now.
