I loved this book. Yeah, there was the murder to solve, but true friendship and loyalty played a big part in this installment. I was smiling by the end of the book. I felt like I had one of Sam’s feel good smoothies! This is a truly great series!

With all the turmoil going on back home, Sam’s good friends send her on a relaxing vacation at the beach. She is happy to get some time away from her Smoothie shop so she can recharge! And she certainly needs a break from murders!
The first big event is that Sam accidentally backs up into another tourist and knocks her drink all over her white shirt. The woman is totally out of control and hostile. They have yet another argument at the hotel where it seems they both are staying! However, this time the nasty woman is found dead and Sam becomes the number one suspect because she had heard a scream and ran into the woman’s room – and the woman was strangled with a scarf! Guess whose scarf? She contacts her friends and the gang shows up to help her solve this murder! Can they do it? Can they track down the killer and clear Sam’s name? Is the killer even human?
This was a fun mystery with lots of new characters and a change of scenery for the reader’s enjoyment too. Join the gang in following the clues to help Sam! It’s a fun adventure that will keep the reader enthralled from start to finish!

Sams friends (and Coven) got together to send Sam on a beach holiday, after all the goings on in Goodsprings Sam is looking forward to some downtime away from her Smoothie shop and let’s face it all the murder and going on’s in Goodsprings.
However nothing comes easy for Sam and after having a confrontation with another tourist who is later found dead, Well Sam is the easy suspect, especially when there is evidence! Alone with none of her witchy coven sisters or her Dhampir detectives to hand Sam is genuinely worried, But her friends won’t leave Sam alone in her hour of need! Far from it, they arrive on mass from Goodsprings, having flown all the way! (By Broom that is, not Air America) and with old friends and new they set about solving the murder!
This is a quick but good read, it does not really move our favourite Witches characters on any, the twins maybe find out a little more about themselves, nothing earth shattering, but it does add some new friends to add to the growing menagerie, Cassandra like Sam is an earth Witch along with Cassandra’s parrot Paula,
I am looking forward to finding out more about them, and their stories. What happened to Paula? Is it reversible? I hope they are as good as they purport to be! ( I really do have a suspicious mind!!) it certainly opens up a lot of possibilities, as an older more experienced Witch perhaps she will be able to help focus and teach the coven….Maybe romance for Phineas!!
Who knows only the next book will tell, and I am looking forward to it!
Although this book can be read as a stand alone, this is Book 5 in The Happy Blendings Witch Cozy Mystery Series for your best enjoyment I would highly recommend you read it as part of the series and start at book 1
Murder on Vacation
This is a fun cozy mystery that is part of the Happy Blendings Cozy Witch Mystery series. A murder takes place at the Inn Sam is vacationing at and she is arrested! The whole gang comes to save her and all sorts of strange things happen. There are a few suspects with motives. The setting is most of the fun, while the mystery is very cool. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
That was interesting! It was harder for Sam to solve the mystery from behind bars…however she found a way. I loved the ghostly side of the mystery! All in all it was a blast to read! And after that ending, I can’t wait to read the next book!

Poor Sam decides to vacation across state lines in a coastal town a few hours away. Little does she realize the trip will be murder!
A cranky woman collides with a grape drink and Sam, and throws quite a fit. A second encounter presents the woman with a second opportunity to be obnoxious. An accidental bump from a tourist looking at a display window would likely not be uncommon. The grape was unfortunate, but refusing offered cleaning or replacement of the garment …
When the grape mess victim situation turns lethal, Sam the outsider finds herself detained.
A fun and twisted read!
