Best conclusion of this duet
This part of the duet was on the lighter side for me and I have to say I read a lot of dark romances and really like them. It didn’t feel so dark and depraved as the first part of the story. I loved how the events unravelled and how author worked on both of the main protagonists and also on the secondary characters. I really enjoyed that plot was more twisted and had some events that turned it into very interesting, full of suspense and drama read. I expected a little bit different scene to cause the change in the scenery but what happened was unexpected and unpredictable. It heighten my interested and kept me reading with racy heart till the last page. Great read and I really recommend if you haven’t read first part don’t wait to long to grab a copy.
OMG… JESUS FUCK… What the hell?
Alright… I need to say this. If you want to read this. You NEED to read this from book one, as this is a duet and you will be all kinds of confused otherwise.
Well, with that out of the way… to the review… SERIOUSLY?! My head is a mess right now. I don’t know how to feel. I don’t know why I don’t know how to feel… No actually, that is a lie. I do… It’s because once again, Ms. Wild and gone and blown my mind, twisted me all out of shape and she has me questioning my own morals and my own sanity.
Why do I even like, let alone LOVE Easton? He was a bad man. He was horrible with everything he did to Charlotte. He did some questionable things throughout the book… But here I am, my head spinning and my emotions scattered. This character has gotten under my skin.
I don’t want to give anything away. Seriously you all need to experience this duet blind… But one thing? Be prepared to be all bent out of shape, for your emotions to be all over the place. This took me on a roller coaster, and I am still sitting here wanting to scream… or throw something…
Once again, Clarissa creates a dark romance that you can’t help but fall victim to LOL and fall in love with the characters, even though you know you really shouldn’t. I take my hat off to this author, she certainly knows how to keep me on my toes.
5 Stars!
This is book #2. You do need to read book #1, A Debt Owed.
In this book we have Easton Van Buren. He is turning over half the city to find his wife, Charlotte.
Charlotte has no money, no phone, just the clothes in her back. She’s run away to escape Easton. However, sleeping under a bridge is t much better. Yes, she’s escaped but is she free?
Charlotte befriends a man, Deion, who helps her. She keeps asking why he’s helping her and he just states it’s the right things to do. He knows that she’s had a rough few days and she’s in need of help. He isn’t out for himself, he is just being nice and kind. No hidden agenda.
Charlotte needs Easton’s help. She makes a call to him and he does help her. But of course it’s going to cost her, her new found freedom.
I do not like how Easton has treated her in book 1, or book 2. Charlotte is more of a piece of property to him.
Will Easton learn to give Charlotte what she wants? Freedom? Love? Friendship?
I did receive a FREE ARC Copy of this book. I am leaving a honest review.
I loved the obsessive need Easton continued to have for Charlotte. This dark romance had all the feels with drama that enhanced the storyline.
I really enjoyed the addition of Leion and Ashanti as it brought a bit of “normal” into Charlotte’s life as well as a breath of humanity into the story.
I have to admit that this had everything I crave in a dark romance! Kudos to the author for hitting the mark again and again, creating this fantastic keeper of a book!

Easton and and Charlotte journey continues as she runs and he tries to find her. She’s determined to get free and live how she wants, but is it really what she wants?
Don’t miss as Charlotte has to make some tough decisions and dig deep to see what she feels.

This is book two of the Debt Duet. This story had me on the edge of my seat. It was well written and a page turner. This story had many emiotions. This was a continue of Easton and Charlotte story.
I received an advanced copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved the ending!! Loved the friendship with Deion and Ashanti. Bless Jill for telling it like it is.
Not a fan of Davis and the actions he took. The resolution by Easton related to Davis, were odd and I still don’t really get what Davis was doing and why Easton felt that’s what he had to do. But in the end, justice prevailed.
Easton got his girl and love reigned, not possessions.
Enjoyed this repayment! 4 stars
This book starts where A Debt Owed left off, so you must read it first. I was a bit frustrated with the first part of this book, but I will not say why as I think it would be considered a spoiler. Hence the 4 stars. I was hoping there was a reason for what was happening, and there was! Easton made himself a better man for Charlotte in this book but kept his Alphaness, and it made me root for him and Charlotte. Charlotte eventually embraced her power, and I was happy she did. I enjoyed the journey of Easton & Charlotte finally realizing they love each other and that they each choose each other over everything else.
I received a copy of this ebook from Enticing Journey Book Promotions for my honest review.
Utterly PERFECT!
A perfect ending to the series that shocked and engulfed every aspect of senses throughout the wicked dark storyline. Nerve ratting twists and at times hard to endure banter but would not change a single word. An enjoyable ending that finally lifts the dark foreboding gloom that hovered throughout this well written read. Emotionally charged with a whirlwind of chemistry that is cruel and demanding to beautiful passionate melt your heart perfection. An amazing must read that held my attention and I believe to be an utterly perfect duet.
What a great conclusion to Charlotte and Easton’s story. Their story isn’t an easy one but it is one that is so stinking good. I was hooked and couldn’t wait to get this installment of the duet. I had to have more after reading the first and was eagerly waiting for the release of A Debt Repaid. I am so thrilled with how this one played out and I was hooked!!
Charlotte and Easton have a lot that they need to figure out. Like what they want from each other, how to move on from things, how to build a relationship from where they are right now and so much more. Dangers lurk and lies are said and promises are put in jeopardy. An overall great read and I can’t wait to get more by Clarissa Wild!
So many mixed emotions about this book. So I’m in between a 3.5 – 4 stars on this one. Gosh…where to start…I’ve never had a book leave me this much on the fence about how I feel. I liked the story, but there were some things that just didn’t do it for me. While reading I was all over the place with my emotions from hate to somewhat like Easton. I don’t think that he could totally redeem himself with me though. Charlotte made me want to strangle and ask her what she was thinking!!! lol. My feelings are still all over the place even after finishing this one days ago.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!
There’s was not a normal marriage. How can it be when you repayment for a debt? Charlotte works hard for her freedom. Easton is devastated by Charlotte’s escape. Can he find her? What happens then? Can these two ever have anything resembling an HEA? It was so difficult waiting for this conclusion, BUT, oh so worth the wait!
5.0 out of 5 stars Totally Worth the Cliffhanger from Book One “A Debt Owed”
June 25, 2019
Format: Kindle Edition
This book was totally worth the cliffhanger we were left with from book one, “A Debt Owed”. Easton and Charlotte are so hot together, all the while trying to figure out if they can make this work. So many ups and downs with their relationship and her family. So many feels throughout this story will keep you on the edge of your seat as you continue to turn the pages of their story. I really didn’t want it to end. Oh, Holy WOW!!! When these two finally get together…Hot, Hot, Hot. You’ll need a tissue or two for the tears also. Dark, sexy times ahead so hang on for the ride. You won’t want to miss this perfect ending. ***I did receive a ARC of this book and this is my honest review.***
Before I start my review please know that this being a duet it’s a MUST that you read the first, A Debt Owed…..
So lets get started….
What an absolutely explosive conclusion to this dark and delicious duet.
Honestly my mind has been completely blown!
We pick up with Charlotte on the run from the monster who is Easton, the man that took her from a life of freedom and who Charlotte is now married to.
The only thing that matters to Charlotte is her freedom and getting away from the evil that she is constantly subjected too at the hands of the man that she calls a husband.
Finally Charlotte finds refuge, safe and away from Easton, surrounded by two caring and loving people that mean no harm. But its short lived. Charlotte is found. But it isn’t what you think.
Yes I know here I was thinking that Easton would find her, but I couldn’t have been anymore wrong.
Someone else wants Charlotte just as much as Easton and will stop at absolutely nothing to get to her.
But who you ask?
I’m definitely not giving that away…..Not a chance!
Guys I just adored this novel, I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to this sinfully delectable duet.
Again I found myself immersed in a world of darkness full of twists, pain, heartache, but with a light shining through that took my breath away.
To Charlotte….You girl are a star and your strength is something to be admired.
Easton….Hmmm you managed to redeem yourself, how is still beyond m, but you did and dude you’re okay.
And Deion and Ashanti? Who are they you ask? Well you are just going to have to read to find out more, but guys, my heart, these guys are just…….Giving nothing away here!
5 perfect stars
The second part of Charlotte and Eastons story and was just as good and one I truly could not put down. The last book at the end she ran away and this starts off just that way. He will stop at nothing to find her and get whats his back no matter the cost. With everything with this book, all the twists and turns, I could not get enough of them. My emotions were all over with these two and I loved it so much!
As always Clarissa Wild has given us a fantastic dark romance !!!! This 2nd book in this duet series was wonderfully written and the conclusion to Charlotte and Easton was a page turner from the very beginning!
You must read book 1, A Debt Owed, before reading this book. Highly recommend this duet!
Revenge may be sweet but what good is it if it keeps you having the thing you want most? In A Debt Owed, I had very ambivalent feelings about Easton. In A Debt Repaid, he did redeem himself but it took some doing. Charlotte’s father? Not so much. Charlotte’s brief taste of freedom is a slippery slope for her that ends in her sacriicing it in order to save another. She returns to Easton and finally quits fighting her feelings. In making the “right choice” she and Easton can finally embark on a life together free of debt.
Conclusion to the Debt Duet
Charlotte ran away at the end of the first book and gets taken in by a kind Dutchman. After a few weeks Charlotte finally emerges but notices someone watching her. Eventually she has a decision to make and she turns to Easton.
I really enjoyed this story, not as action packed as the first book but a very satisfying ending
Thank you to Clarissa for my advanced copy for which I give my honest review.
Great ending to a wonderful series!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to reveiw for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

A Debt Repaid is the second book in The Debt Duet. You need to read A Debt Owed before diving into this book or you are going to be lost. This book picks up right where A Debt Owed left off. If you have read the first book you will know that Eason has taken Charlotte and mad her his wife. She has lost her freedom but it is something she will never stop fighting for it. This book is so amazing. I don’t want to give anyting in the story away. It is a twisted emotionally charged book from the beginning to the end. It is hot and sexy and has all the feels and will have you not being able to put this book down. These two have a slow burn of a story that will just have you twisted in knots and having to know what is going to happen If you loved Charlotte and Easton in the first book your going to love them even more in A Debt Repaid. Just go grab it or both of them if you haven’t read the first one and enjoy the wild right that is The Debt Duet. Clarissa Wild has done such an amazing job with this duet that it will be one that I read again over and over.
