A Debt Repaid is the follow up to the exciting Dark Billionaire Alpha Male Romance novel A Debt Owed by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Clarissa Wild. This is book 2 of The Debt Duet and the final instalment.
WARNING: This book includes scenes that may be disturbing to some readers.more
This is book two in this duet. It picks up where book one left off. You must read book one first to get Charlotte and Easton’s complete story. Things continue to be tense and there is lots of twists, drama, darkness and emotional turmoil. Charlotte and Easton are both tested by outside forces and their own emotions. I found the evolution of what these two thought they wanted to the full knowledge of what they needed to be moving and compelling. A very enjoyable and satisfying ending for this couple.
This is the 2nd and concluding part of Easton and Charlotte’s duet. This is a well written story which is dark, twisted, wicked, gritty, and passionate, with suspense, angst and surprises along the way. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this extremely talented author, whose work I recommend.
A Debt Repaid was a great story. I could not put it down. It was a great continue to Charlotte and Easton’s story. The plot was well written, it was filled with many emotions. It was dark, suspenseful, twists and more. Clarissa Wild did a great job on it. Easton and Charlotte are both strong characters, their attraction was been off the charts since the beginning. Even though Charlotte is drawn to Easton, she refuses to give him all of her so she runs.
Charlotte is on the run and Easton will do anything to get his wife back, nothing will stop him until she’s back. I’m going to stop there, the best I can say is t read this story, I’d recommend it. It’s a great story.
Thank you, Clarissa Wild. Great work 🙂
Jeez this book packed a punch. I stayed up all night just to finish reading it because I couldn’t put it down.
I loved the first book so much and couldn’t wait to be able to read this one to see what happened. There were quite a few twists in the story that had me biting my lip and the characters are all so powerful in their own way. The emotions are so close to the surface that I felt what the characters felt. Charlotte is such a strong woman, despite everything she has been through. She never gives up. Easton is stubborn and can be cruel but you see a whole different side of him in this book and it’s all because of what he finally admits to himself he feels for Charlotte. As they fight each other they both realize they are fighting themselves more. Can they stop loving to hate each other and just love instead? Very well written with a strong plot and a happy ever after makes this duet one of my top favorites
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
After the ending of the last book, I was so happy to see Charlotte fighting for her freedom and her finding a piece of happiness. My heart was soaring… until a certain figure ruined it for her. But it wasn’t the one I thought it would be.
There were so many emotions while reading this. I’m not ashamed to say that I did cry a few times while reading this story. One moment in particular was a kick to the gut. It was heartbreaking in how Charlotte sacrificed what she wanted most to save something precious. It was an impossible choice but she made it without hesitation. Easton goes through some interesting changes and then it seems like it never happened. He is a complicated man and torn between his feelings for revenge and his feelings for Charlotte. I think both Easton and Charlotte both learn who they are and how to work together. Of course then there was an unexpected turn and really I thought there was no coming back from that moment. There were some great characters, adorably tender moments, hot and steamy debauchery and moments of redemption. I loved every page of this duet.
A Debt Repaid by Clarissa Wild is book 2 in The Debt Duet. This continues Charlotte and Easton story. Book 2 picks up where Book 1 left off.
In the 2nd half of this duet, we see how raw and gritty Easton is while we get to read how much Charlotte is fighting to break free- of her supposed image and for her freedom. Yet she has fallen in love with her captor but has Easton fallen for her ? This leads to the breakout and the twists and turns that kept me glued to my seat. Easton and Charlotte’s love story is full of feels and steam and twisted romance. What an amazing story that has action, angst, twists, turns, rollercoaster moments and epic conclusion. Absolute perfection !!
My Rating: 4.7 stars *******
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Clarissa Wild is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
Charlotte Davis & Easton Van Buren are Back in book two of the Debt duet! We start right where a debt owed left off. They might be married now but once Charlotte finds something of hers that Easton has taken from her she took the first chance she had to get away. Will Easton be able to find her and get her back? The hunt is on! What started as a debt her father owed turns into much more for Easton. Can they stop being enemies enough for their true feeling to surface? I loved this duet and all the twists. Their chemistry is amazing! I can’t say to much but if you like enemies to lovers then this is the duet for you! Told in dual POV
Must read A Debt Own first, this book is part of duet.
…the conclusion of their story.
Emotional level is high in this book, steamy chemistry between the characters.
…true to author style, always more than meets the eye, always blown away with all is revealed!!!!
Right where we left off Charlotte craves and fights for her freedom ending up in the hands of a stranger and has a huge connection of family while Easton Van Buren her tormenter and husband has held her captive with no freedom and he is determined to search the ends of the earth to claim what is his for eternity. The connection these two have is delicious always fighting for some type of control as they learn so much about themselves in the process. This was dark and dangerous filled with betrayl and lies and so many threats it was scary and keeps you on the edge of your seat with nail biting drama that is oh so good just the way I like it. I really loved these characters the development and writing is outstanding.
Easton and Charlotte are still struggling. Charlotte wants her freedom and Easton doesn’t know how to handle it.
Her father is still lurking in the shadows and thinks only of himself.
Then…everything happends and both Easton and Charlotte allow themselfs to feel and look at things in another way….
There’s a lot of feelings in this second book and the story comes to an end. A lot of chemistry!!!!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
A satisfying conclusion to this duet. A Debt Repaid picks up where A Debt Owed ends. Charlotte is on the run and Easton is determined to find her and bend her to his will. There is another danger out there that can cause Charlotte harm. So is Easton really the “bad guy“ here? An enjoyable duet, Ms. Wild does it again.
