A woman fated to die. A missing mother. A son’s search for the truth.Welcome to a place with a dark history, an island in the Celtic Sea where not everything is as it seems. Welcome to Lansin Island.Popular with Pagans for its larger-than-life celebrations of the seasonal Sabbats, Lansin Island is rife with witchy history. But with Halloween just around the corner, it’s harder than ever to tell … harder than ever to tell fact from fiction.
Nicolas Crystan, an ordinary young guy trying to find his way in the world, has lived on the island his whole life. Apart from his mother’s unexplained disappearance, he’s never witnessed anything like the strange stories he’s grown up hearing about—until the day he’s struck by a disturbing vision of a woman’s death.
When he uses the premonition to save Juliet Maystone from a grisly fate, their lives become linked—and forever altered. Before long, a cryptic message about Nick’s missing mother plunges Nick and Juliet into a world of ghosts, mediums, immortals and murder.

I really enjoy most of the book. It always had made wanting to know more. The only thing I didn’t like about it is the ending which I felt ended to soon and there were things added that needed to be sooner in the book. The book also had me a little upset with Nicolas and Juliet.
This book initailly grabbed my interest and I was very excited to learn more about Nick and Juliet and learning more about their newfound “gifts.” Unlike other reviews I’ve seen saying that this was a rip off or an incomplete book trying to force people to buy the other ones in the series. This is a thriller that will keep you turning the pages until the end.
Badly written with two terribly annoying and unappealing main characters. It’s a waste of money even if it’s free.
The novel is riveting! The characters are uniquely conveyed in a haunting manor. In fact, this author has a future in my library.
Left to much open. Story lines didn’t seem to match up.
I really liked it but hated the ending.
Found this novel very well written and would like to read more from this author.
Excellent charity, character diffinition, an over all great read.
It was a hard read. Downright boring
I loved this book.
Moved a little slow in places but a great story line.
Boring
An interesting take on what can happen when fate is altered
Too long developing a mediocre plot. Could not hold my attention nor do I care much about the characters. Sorry, not interested in reading more of the series.
Really great read. I would recommend this is a great book.
Starts a bit slow and takes awhile to develop the characters. Overall though an entertaining read.
