A dash of destiny and a pinch of passion can change everything… an enchanting new arrival in town, he’s all in.
He just wished she was too.
Life hasn’t turned out as planned for Jennifer Greene. After taking care of her sick father for years, she’s come to Green Vallis, Wisconsin, for one reason only—a job. She isn’t looking for adventure, even if it’s by way of a tempting Highlander in a kilt or men streaking across the countryside. And she definitely isn’t looking for love—even though love is looking for her.
From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin… A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by NYT Bestselling Author Michelle M. Pillow.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

Once again, Michelle M. Pillow manages to keep me laughing with this installment in the Warlocks MacGregor series. The character work and story line were well written and highly entertaining. The narrator did a fabulous job bringing this book to life and made this book as enjoyable to listen to as it is to read.
I received a copy of the Audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I absolutely LOVE these Warlocks!
I completely binged the entire series again before digging into this one.
Rory’s book is by far my favorite yet!!
No surprise to me with Michelle’s work, the story pulls you right in on the first page, lots of funny mixed in and the characters are amazing!
The whole series is excellent on audio.
Highly recommend this series!
Finally Rory’s time!!
I loved it and i really appreciate the gift you made to your fans and to the fans of Raibert with that reference.. it was hilarious!! Michael once again did a fantastic job! I wish we could have more books about the McGregors and i cannot wait for no 9!!
When Rory meets Jennifer he thinks it’s magic and Jenny fights the urge to hurt him. The attraction is obvious. This is my first MacGregor book and lordy, I laughed so hard. The Scottish voice was so funny. The narrators voice is very nice. I liked all the characters. This book was a fun and easy listen. Books seem funnier when done in someone else’s voice, my imagination isn’t as funny. This one is among the favorites. I highly recommend it.
This is the eighth book in the Warlocks MacGregor Series, a paranormal romance. This is an interconnected series of standalone novellas. Rory and Jennifer’s story is hilarious, fast-paced, and entertaining. I liked the mystery. Rory’s family is so much fun! The story has a beautiful HEA. Michael Ferraiuolo did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it! I am looking forward to listen to the first books in the Series!
This was such an engaging and funny story! I just loved the way Rory and Jennifer’s romance developed. The narrator did an amazing job with the Scottish accents – they were spot on and I should know having family in Scotland. I love the MacGregors and their funny family quirks! And Railbert – what can I say – he makes me laugh out loud every time he’s in a chapter. This should be made into a TV serial! Just brilliant!
This was a fun little nugget of a paranormal read. Loved the accents and the characters. The story kept me intrigued and on the edge of my seat! A super fun listen to make a day of work go by super fast. While this is a series I haven’t read or listened to any others and I wasn’t lost at all. It’s a standalone but I adore the family and plan on checking out the rest!!!! Both the story and the narrator both were wonderful.
The first few lines certainly got my attention. I loved how the author wove it into the story.
Rory and Jennifer are complex characters. Jennifer is struggling on her own while Rory has a bug family to support him. This storyline was very interesting! I loved how it was a thriller/mystery book with a side of romance. Rory’s family is a hoot especially his crazy uncle. I’m looking forward to listening to more of this series.
I listened to the audiobook and it was truly a addicting listen. The narrator, Michael did a great job portraying both Jennifer, Rory, and the supporting characters.
Honestly, this is the first audiobook in this series I have listened to / read. I have just been so enthralled with Michelle M Pillow’s Qurilixen World book. (They are FANTASTIC!) But I digress.
This is Rory’s story and even though I don’t know his history, it was an amazing listening experience. He does meet his true match in Jennifer. The story provides drama, intrigue, steaminess, so very much humor & sexy as hell men in kilts. What’s not to love!
This audiobook has me backtracking with this series asap. I gotta go start with book 1.
This is a highly recommend audiobook.
This book had me from the start. The narrator was great with accents and the story was fantastic! I lost a lot of sleep on this one. I Made the mistake of starting it at bedtime and I couldn’t stop until it was over. High praise for Michelle M. Pillow and this whole series!
Audiobook review: Rory & Jennifer make for an interesting and entertaining couple and story! A lighthearted thrill romance story! Love the MacGregors and their magical shenanigans! LOL! The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each! I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
LOTS OF CRAZY KILT WEARING WARLOCKS
Very satisfying and entertaining family of Scott’s with wild tales and crazy creatures. Mix up all that with kilts, magical evil out for their blood and a romantically seeking and sometimes naked man fleeing the latest threat then you have a best seller!
I love this series and recommend it to anybody with a sense of humor.
Each one of these books crack me up in different ways. The humor is so refreshing! Well written – tied to the other storylines but not dependent on them. I really enjoyed it.
When fate comes calling
When the past comes calling you’re going to need Uncle Raibeart and not your mom. Rory’s turn this time and he’s lucky fate is on his side. Jennifer is more than she seems but has no idea what’s in store. Long ago curses have tied the two fates together and only purity of purpose will keep them together.
This is a wonderful series filled with so much love and a whole lot of laughter.
I was going to write single reviews but after binge reading once again I decided it was best to just write one for all together.
So far there are eight books in the series but I hope with everything I have that their stories never end.
Who doesn’t love a sexy Scotsman in a Kilt? On top of that there are so many pranks played on each other. If you live for as long as these colorful characters do sometimes a harmless joke on each other helps to pass the time. I would like to say I have a favorite character but the truth is I loved them all, they all leave you in stitches.
Every book leaves you laughing so hard tears will flow. There are many times I had to set the book aside just so I could catch my breath again.
If you have not read any of these books you really should give them a try. This Author does an amazing job of keeping you coming back for more fun.
Rory believes he has been cursed when a woman he didn’t know tries to kill him with an ancient cursed dagger that she is trying to stab him with and since his magick is not working at the time but when he leaves her at his sister and brother’s hotel-motel because his uncle knocked her out, so she couldn’t kill him. Jennifer is a young woman who stopped in Green Vallis on her way to somewhere else. She is barely making enough money to pay rent. When she meets Rory she wants to hurt him and she doesn’t know why but she is attracted to him also. She is shocked when she finds out that Rory’s mom is trying to kill her with cheese but that isn’ the case and Rory has to explain to her who they are and what they do and how they collect and release the magick as well as telling her what she means to him even though they don’t really know each other but he will let nothing come between them even though uncle Raibeart keeps calling her a bog witch. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I received an ARC from Bookfunnel without any obligations. I am providing an honest review.

I love this series, it seems that every consecutive book is better than the one before. Rory is a big, strong, sexy warlock with danger lurking all around him. Jennifer is a beautful, feisty woman who is just what Rory needs
These two are perfect for each other. This story has it all it has romance, humor, danger and best of all an awesome HEA. This story grabs you right from the beginning and holds you spellbound all the way to the very last page. I highly recommend this book, this series and this author to everyone who loves paranormal romances. Be sure to pick up a copy you will be so very very glad that you did.
This author writes such fun and funny stories. I love her characters. I totally recommend this and all of Ms. Pillows books

Wonderful!!! Michelle has done it again. A well written book that just keeps you reading. I didn’t want to put it down. I’ve been waiting for Rory’s story and I’m impressed. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
I also love the fact that a certain naked uncle knew exactly who Jen was without anyone else believing him….see he is not as batshit crazy as he lets on…oh wait, yes he is!
I loved this book, like all of the McGregors stories, it kept me entertained while keeping me guessing how they will keep their mates safe.
I really need an enchanted dagger to wing its way to my hand when I need one.
Now is it me or when you think of McGregors you think of the Kilted Coaches? No? Just me then xx
