A dash of destiny and a pinch of passion can change everything… an enchanting new arrival in town, he’s all in.
He just wished she was too.
Life hasn’t turned out as planned for Jennifer Greene. After taking care of her sick father for years, she’s come to Green Vallis, Wisconsin, for one reason only—a job. She isn’t looking for adventure, even if it’s by way of a tempting Highlander in a kilt or men streaking across the countryside. And she definitely isn’t looking for love—even though love is looking for her.
From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin… A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by NYT Bestselling Author Michelle M. Pillow.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

This is a completely wonderful read, totally riveting
Rory has been feeling a certain amount of jealously and he is a little forlorn as he is the only one that has been left un married and he feels this as though he is the exception to the rule, he had to admit that having a family of warlocks/magic and shapeshifters as family.
Rory escaped a grisly death and is unsure if perhaps he was surviving on borrowed time, Rory is unsure how to break the spell and bring her into his very dramatic life thata was often filled with family chaos.
Jennifer has no family since it has totally broken down after the death of her brother, she has been existing by spending her life as a waitress and since she has met this irritating man she has the feeling where she can either throttle, kill or love Rory until the end of their days.
As always this was a highly entertaining read and there is nothing she can do if she wishes to spend the rest of their together.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Rory is feeling a tinge of jealousy as all of his cousins have fallen in love. But it takes someone special to put up with the bedlam and downright insanity that surrounds the MacGregor clan! You can’t just slip warlocks/magic/shapeshifting cousins, etc into the conversation and see how she copes.
Rory seems to have somehow escaped a grisly death centuries ago but did he really escape? Or has he been living on borrowed time. A very pretty human seems to have homicidal tendencies whenever he is around. A kiss seems to break the haze temporarily so Rory is more than happy to keep her supplied! But that’s not exactly going to break the spell no matter what the fairy tales tell you.
Jennifer lost her brother, her mother left the family and her father died after a battle with cancer.
fate has not been kind to her so far. Adding to her dull and tiring life as a waitress is her now sudden desire to either jump Rory or plunge a knife into his chest. A bit like with marmite, there is no middle ground- it’s either love him or kill him!
OMG even as a Scot I’d never survive the madness of the MacG but what a way to go out. Between aunties and mums trying to kill your possible girlfriend with cheeseballs and your talented by slightly unhinged artisitic brother being let loose on the local Hotel Motel? Poor Rory needs a rest!
The MacG’s go from strenth to strength. I love checking in with all the previous happy couples and Jewel manages to keep them all on their toes.
Oh, and if you see Uncle Raibert? Tell him NO in as many languages as you can!
This is a fun, often scary, romp! Rory being a warlock is the least of the things Jennifer faces. Jenny Greentooth is certainly enough to create nightmares. Not to mention an enchanted bog. Yuck! I am sure I wouldn’t want to eat anything Rory’s Mom made. Such a good read with a great ending! I received an advanced copy of this book and freely leave this honest review.
The story pulls you in right away, the characters are lovable, witty and full of life. The detail in the character development, describing the scenes without over doing it was amazing! Just the right amount of everything, humor, drama, mystery and intrigue to keep me glued to the pages until I reached the last page and then frustration because it was over and I wanted to read more!
Loved this addition to this series. You will laugh out loud reading this book. This is a quick read were Rory finds his soulmate. Jennifer meets Rory in an unusual way. Their relationship and meeting is a love at first sight find of love. Rory’s mom tries to help but I think she just makes it worse which leads to more laughter. Rory of course does everything he can to help his love along with his family. If you have read any of these books you will enjoy reading this one too.

Rory has popped up in the previous MacGregor books and I couldn’t wait to see the woman who brings him in line. We start this story with something that happened centuries ago when it appeared that Rory met his fate. Now we’re back to present day Wisconsin and he’s trapped again but it seems like his cousins are up to tricks or are they??? Jennifer has lived her life caring for those she loved and is living on a day to day basis of bills and work. She wakes up in a Hotel Motel not sure what happened the night before but has this unexpected lust/hate for Rory.
Michelle has done a superb job with with world of Warlocks. She creates an amazing new storyline for each finding their love. I loved seeing Rory with his family and all the hijinks they’re still up to. I cannot wait to see the rest of Rory sibilings find their soul mates and hope Raibeart soon finds the one that will say Aye!
Rory & Jennifer
It is Rory’s turn. Most of the siblings have found their forever loves. He was beginning to think that wouldn’t happen for him. Their meeting left a little to be desired. Magick he understood. He had his own usually until he didn’t and it threatened his life.
Once again Magick and not from the MacGregor’s has hit their town and Rory is the target this time. The human involved is his but what will be the price?
The whole family gets involved again, there are some nude runnings and proposals, pranks, messed up recipes, and plenty of steam. All in all another winner MacGregor story that is great in the series or alone for newcomers.
Jennifer Greene has been alone since her father died of cancer several years earlier. Her mother left them when she was six so it had only been her and her father since then. She works as a waitress in a bar called the Crimson Tavern. Her life pretty much consists of working, paying bills and working. She has heard of the MacGregor family that moved into Green Vallis but other than a glimpse of a kilt occasionally she has never met any of them. When she leaves work one night she sees a puppy run across the road, so she chases him into the woods to try and catch him before he gets run over by a car. That’s the last thing she remembers before waking up in a hotel with a strange woman looking over her. She freaks out and tries to leave! Maura calms her down and introduces herself and then Rory, her brother, comes in. Jennifer is immediately attracted to him but at the same time has an uncontrollable urge to hit him!
Rory is taking a shower and then nothing! He is tied to a tree in the woods by his house with an enchanted rope. His magic is not working and he can’t get himself untied. Then a beautiful woman comes down the path looking for a puppy that had just run by. She doesn’t seem to see him until she reaches under a bush and brings out a knife. Then she looks at him and raises the knife to stab him. Fortunately his Uncle Raibeart comes along just then and knocks her out with his magic and unties Rory. They take her to the hotel until the spell wears off so they can keep an eye on her. Rory is totally taken with Jennifer and is sure she is “the one”. He tries to spend time with her but she is very suspicious at first, but especially after he takes her to the Mansion to meet his mother and aunt. His mother offers her a snack and the next thing she knows is she is puking up chunks of mud. Jennifer is sure she tried to poison her. When she goes outside to leave, she suddenly has the knife in her hand again and tries to stab Rory again. Fortunately Rory is able to talk to her and break the spell at the last moment. Jennifer is horrified and thinks she is going crazy. They finally figure out, with the help of his family, that she has been possessed by a Bog Wench. Jennifer has grown to love Rory, but she can’t seem to help herself when she periodically tries to kill him. Can they break the spell before she actually succeeds?
Another great adventure with the crazy MacGregor family! This is such a fun series!

The past comes to haunt one of the MacGregors when the woman he is falling in love with is trying to kill him- several times and she don’t know why, thinks the women of the family are trying to poison her, then finds out she is possessed and so much more

This is another great addition to this wonderful PNR series. I love the humor, romance and the whole story. I think that this is a fantastic read in a well thought out world and I am very happy to have followed this couple on their adventure. I Loved Every Page!!!

Rory gets his turn at love. Jennifer, unfortunately, keeps trying to kill him. With all the laughter and lovely written storyline that you expect from a MacGregor clan story, this is must read for fans of Ms. Pillow.
This is an honest review of an ARC.
