This Christmas is she going to lose her ranch? For years Callan Carrigan has been her father’s right hand man, so when her dad’s will names city slicker Court McAllister the new owner of The Circle C Ranch, Callan feels betrayed on every level. Then she and her sisters find their mother’s diaries, hidden from them by their father since their mother’s accidental death 18 years ago, and the shocking … death 18 years ago, and the shocking revelations explain a lot. Reeling, Callan seeks refuge in the local saloon, where it seems no one can reach her, until Court offers her a challenge.
If she agrees to be foreman at the Circle C for one year, he’ll deed the ranch back to her and her sisters. The deal seems too sweet at first—until Callan realizes Court has his eyes on something she protects even more than her family’s land—her heart.

Great read for the hopeless romantic.
A good read with interesting story and characters
Sisters find out they are not the daughters of the man who raised them.
Nice to read in order of the series. Not sure what it wold be like reading it as a stand alone book.
Very enjoyable!!
Good Read
Good book
Interesting to read…typical theme but in was worth reading.
It had a good but predictable story line. However it had MANY typographical errors which put me off.
It was an easy read. Enjoyed i.
One of my favorite authors. All of the Circle C characters are unique and interesting.
I liked the character development and the twists and turns in the story line. I did like the unique ending. It shows that you can rise above your surroundings.
It was a sweet story. Quick read, which is nice at holiday time.
I liked the book would have liked a more in-depth ending but overall a good read
Loved the setting and the description of the outdoors.
Good story, but a little slow.
I really like this series. This book focuses on the youngest of Hawks daughters, Callens Story. I felt it was original and not what I was expecting.
I liked that the characters struggled but came together in the end.
I always like the ranch settings for books. They are very hard working people. Secrets kept could have destroyed them, but strong family ties helped them accept them. Court was so willing to learn everything he needed to run the ranch, but in the end, the ranch meant nothing without Callen.
continuing saga of Carrington sisters was worth the read. Realistic characters, strange twists added to story. would recommend
