This Christmas is she going to lose her ranch? For years Callan Carrigan has been her father’s right hand man, so when her dad’s will names city slicker Court McAllister the new owner of The Circle C Ranch, Callan feels betrayed on every level. Then she and her sisters find their mother’s diaries, hidden from them by their father since their mother’s accidental death 18 years ago, and the shocking … death 18 years ago, and the shocking revelations explain a lot. Reeling, Callan seeks refuge in the local saloon, where it seems no one can reach her, until Court offers her a challenge.
If she agrees to be foreman at the Circle C for one year, he’ll deed the ranch back to her and her sisters. The deal seems too sweet at first—until Callan realizes Court has his eyes on something she protects even more than her family’s land—her heart.

While Cowgirl’s Christmas was at times very predictable, it was a totally enjoyable read with some neat sub-plots, good back-ground plots, and many entertaining segments.
But again, even this medium-sized novel could be rewritten, about 25 percent of the verbiage eliminated, some unproductive scenes tossed, and the book would move from four-star to five-star.
I really liked it … would recommend it.
It was romantic but it had a twist to the plot. Easy reading, but well written.
This is a book that plays on many of your emotions.
Quite good.
Enjoyed the story line
Not believable and way too rushed, especially at the end. Made sure I didn’t want to read any of the others in the series.
A good ending to the series.
Very easy read.
Wonderful coming of age and self awareness in leading characters. Great read!
Nice Christmas story
A wonderful real life story. Four daughters that find out they are only related through their mother not their father. This is about the baby girl who was the one closest to the father. It deals with betrayal, loss opportunities, and grief of losing one’s parents. But it does have a very caring romantic interest in it.
fun read
