She wanted to be free of her past…

She created a new life for herself in San Francisco, running an interior design company and getting married, then divorced. When she returns to settle her father’s estate, she finds that her birthright is in jeopardy. And the only way to save it is to work with West Morgan, the one man she has always resented—and always found irresistible.

This story put me through an emotional wringer. I wasn’t taken to a place of full-out ugly crying, but it was a near thing. It’s still going to be a little while before I level back out. Tara was such a complex character to read. Every time one of the townsfolk made assumptions about her, my heart hurt just a little bit more for her. I both loved and hated West. When he was behaving like a jerk he was in a whole new class of alpha-hole. But when he was being sweet and caring, he was everything my best book boyfriend fantasies are made of. I’ve started to fall in love with Chase and Ty now as well, and I can’t wait to read their stories.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This one about Tara and her feelings regarding the life in Montana and how she deals with it all. West got a break as a teen and went to live on the ranch in Montana and how he deals with growing up there. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series and this being a standalone read doesn’t need to be read before the next one comes out. It is just a great start to the series.
Megan Ryder hits it out of the park with this first book in the Redemption Ranch Series! The story of Tara Rawling and West Morgan will leave you breathless with all types of emotions.
Tara had to go back to Montana because of her Father’s death – She had been gone for so long and neglected to get in touch with him because she was trying to reel her own life in.
West was waiting for Tara to return and the animosity between them was heavy – he didn’t know what she had in mind for the Ranch he and his brothers have called home since they were young.
The reading of the will gives them a curveball and they all hope they come out unscathed.
Here we have one good cowboy romance. The storyline is good and the characters as well. We get the family and the family ties. We get to know about the difficulties of those same ties and sometimes while reading I thought to myself: What a bastard…. I hope you will understand whom I mean when you read the book. But of course through the hardships and love there is the HEA which we all love. I am giving this one beautiful four stars that it most certainly deserves and can´t wait to read the stories of the other brothers… – which I hope will emerge.

This a great start to the Redemption Ranch.
It definitely took me a long time to warm up to West. For about the first third of the book, I thought he was unnecessarily mean to Tara. He was so hot and cold and I was thinking that I was never going to like him. Then West and Tara started having actual conversations instead of snippy little arguments. And West became someone that I thought could actually fit with Tara. The more these two got to know each other, the more I thought they fit so perfectly together. West and Tara, along with Ty and Chase, became a wonderful team that was going to make the ranch more than they ever thought possible.
I can’t wait to see where this series goes.
A great start to a new series. I enjoyed getting to know Tara, West, Chase & Ty. I’m looking forward to more from each of these characters & Redemption Ranch.
Enjoyed it

HEA
I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from NetGalley.
This story amazingly written and did not put the book down until the end.
West and Tara have a very strong chemistry that is hard for them to ignore through losing Douglas, Tara’s father. Both are grieving for very different reason’s, along with Chase and Ty, West’s foster brothers. Something that is traumatic from losing a loved one, or a mentor, can either tear people apart, or make them stronger.
West finally feels like he has a home but is missing something, called “Love” and Tara feels like she does not have home at the ranch but does she realise that is where home is along with West, Chase and Ty?
Read West and Tara’s story unfold into something beautiful.

The story line was fine. For me I got tired of the F bombs and the characters flipping each other off even if it was jokingly. There are a lot of hardworking, rugged people in this world who do not express their thoughts or feelings in that manner no matter the level of education or lifestyle. It just really spoiled an otherwise good story for me.
Could have been a good book except for the filthy language. Use your brain and think of a real word to replace f—- Used for no reason. Would have bought the next books but —- nope.
Too much sex and bad language.
Not interested in the sexual content. Didn’t think it was necessary.
Tara is forced to come home and face the demons of her past and present. I liked that she had this strong head on her and she really seems to take everything in stride. I was however not a huge fan of West I kind of had a love/hate relationship with him. I did like Ty and Chase they always seem to be your typical little brothers who like to pick on the older one. The story did get to me emotionally because with everything Tara faced my heart just broke for her. There is some cursing and sex in this book so may not be suitable for all readers. Over all I enjoyed reading about these fun characters. I hope that Ty and Chase find their happily ever afters. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion
Tara, a partner in an interior design firm in San Francisco, returns to Montana when her father suddenly passes away on his family cattle ranch. There she meets up with West, Chase and Ty, three cowboys who have worked tirelessly on the ranch with her daddy. When the will is read, and they find they have each inherited a fourth of the ranch, the story really gets interesting. West was a troubled teenager when Douglas “fostered” him and guided him to become the hard-working, well-respected man he is today. As West drew closer to Douglas, it appears that Tara was pushed farther away. But things aren’t always as they seem.
From misinformation and misunderstanding, Megan Ryder tells a beautiful story of honor, self-worth and learning to be vulnerable enough to trust and love again. Although this story is about West, the author gives us enough of a glimpse into the characters of Chase and Ty that she has set herself up for a nice trilogy. I do hope these cowboys each get their own stories and I heartily recommend this very enjoyable book and this very talented author!
She’s running, he’s resentful.
Things always aren’t as they seem.
Tara left the ranch she grew up on and her father. She felt pushed out and replaced by West.
West thinks she’s just a princess (very typical and narrow minded).
Three men were welcomed and she was pushed out and sent away.
I didn’t care for West.
I didn’t really connect with Tara either.
I think I was looking for something fresh with this trope and didn’t find it. Especially when West makes a bonehead move and makes a decision for her.
