Heartwarming and Sexy.
Trevor, a builder and part-time fire fighter, is the last McGavin brother to find love. Problem is, Olivia is still in love with Edward, her soul mate and late husband. How can he compete with that? A heartwarming story with brothers who support and look out for each other.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
Wow, these brothers make you want to pack up and move to Eagles Nest. Trevor is just perfect, he’s attracted to Olivia but is willing to respect her boundaries since she is still grieving her husband. Olivia bites and gets more than she bargained for or even thought she wanted. Trevor definitely deserves 100% because he’s giving 100%. I like Olivia but she couldn’t see the forest for the trees, lol. Who wouldn’t want a sexy, dependable, polite, not to mention breathing man?? Trevor is all man and he is not playing games, so Olivia has a decision to make…future or past. Their emotion and love gives a warm embrace to the reader. Love this family series, all of the brothers are not only sexy but so mannerable, their mother is their rock and she’s done a mighty fine job with her sons. Another excellent story, this author never fails!!!!
I loved Trevor and Olivia. She’s a widow and tax accountant, he’s a simple cowboy. He’s a firefighter and works on his family’s ranch. Olivia isn’t ready for anything romantic with Trevor although it has come across her mind.
She tells him how she feels, and she’s very patient about it.
When he realizes nothing will ever change, and she will never love him he sets her free.
See what happens and buy the book.
So good.
And the Greatest of These is Love…
Trevor makes a living doing construction work. In his spare time, he volunteers with the Eagles Nest Fire Department. While Trevor knows Olivia, it has been as his mother’s recently widowed accountant. That changes after Olivia’s home comes in the path of a raging forest fire that decimates much of her property. Much of what was saved, can be attributed to Trevor. It is Olivia’s courage and Trevor’s kindness in the midst of this tragedy that sparks a fire of a different kind in each of their hearts.
Olivia needs a handyman to repair the damages to her property and Trevor needs someone to care for in his life. Of course, so does Olivia but she doesn’t yet realize it. Believing her heart will always belong to no one except her deceased husband, Edward, Olivia fights the desire she feels for Trevor. It will take more patience and courage than he thinks he has for Trevor to wait on Olivia’s heart to heal. His mother, who was herself widowed as a young mother of 5 boys, offers both Trevor and Olivia some insight into the emotions they are feeling.
You can always depend on a happily ever after with Vicki Lewis Thompson’s books. It is the richness of character emotions and relationships that make them special. I’m going to miss the McGavins, but know I can count on VLT to continue touching my heart with her stories. And while I was gifted this book in exchange for a review, it is truly a review from my heart. I think it will touch yours, too.
I have come to love this series . The last of the unattached brothers, Trevor, get’s his story.
As the previous books in this series, it’s a sweet, touching, heartwarming book about solid family values, honorable brothers, cowboys, and the women they fall in love with.
For Trevor, we have Olivia Shaw. Olivia is a widow who moved to the area when her husband was alive. She has been a widow for three years and knows the McGavin’s because she is their accountant.
She and Trevor strike a friendship , which develops into more. But not as much as one of them wants.
The question we are presented is can you have more than one ‘love of your life”, or is there only one that can have your heart?
The author gives us not only a well developed plot as well as sub-plots but also interesting characters. My only complain is that now all the brothers are attached. Would love to have a novella in which Kendra, their mother, finally finds someone for herself.
