SilasFive years ago, Ginger Davis trespassed on my property and captured my heart. Since then, my love for her has only grown, just like our little family. But life is all about change, and it’s hard to see the path forward when you’re walking through a snowstorm. After an old colleague offers me a job in California, Ginny and I face some tough choices about what we want for our future. And when … choices about what we want for our future. And when a lovers’ stop on the way home from a dance leaves us stranded in the middle of a winter squall, nothing but love, trust, and a little supernatural assist will set us free.
No matter what, Ginny remains my perfect woman—kind, hardworking, sweet, and all kinds of curvy. Plus, she likes to play my favorite cowboy games, even if she’s still learning how to tell me what she wants. Tonight might be exactly what she needs to realize how strong she really is.
Ginger
Five years after he rescued me from a sprained ankle and a “ghost” cowboy, Silas Barton is still the biggest, hottest, most handsome man I’ve ever seen, with or without his favorite lasso. He’s still my best friend and my love. But life has a way of making you doubt yourself. Add a family and career, and things can get a little stormy.
Now, he has a chance to take his career to the next level. All I have to do is give him my blessing… If I can make myself do it. With a choice this big looming over us, we desperately need some time alone to figure things out. Taking a private detour on the way home from a dance seems like the perfect way to reconnect… and rile him up—even though I know there’ll be consequences. I’m just not expecting those consequences to include getting stuck in the middle of nowhere on a winter’s night.
This story is a follow-up to Creeping a Cowboy, which came out last October. It can be read as a standalone.
Super short & steamy, this trope-tastic, over-the-top, dual POV holiday standalone is candy cane sweet, extra spicy, and full of old-fashioned cowboy nobility and goodness… with a twist. Don’t worry! The love is still intense (insta-love lasts, y’all). And, yes, the ending is HEA guaranteed.

Part of the A Real Good Men of Oklahoma Short series, it is well written and a story that held my interest until the end. This is the first book by this Author that I have read, I now want to read the rest of this series. Silas and Ginny’s story continues. I enjoyed seeing how in their own way the spirits of Emily and Abel help them make a big decision. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a very short sweet romance. The characters are in love and have a special bond. The storyline brings in spirits from the past to Guide the way. A very nice story.

It was great to get a glimpse of Silas and Ginny again. This little Valentine’s holiday story gives us readers a little update on how the couple is doing and where they are at in life. I loved the extra heat that Silas and Ginny experiment with on their way home from the dance. I also loved the referral to Emily and Abel, their past choices and mistakes and how that all rolled together and impacted Silas and Ginny’s decisions. In a nutshell, another great story that will make you love the characters a little more. Enjoy!
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an ARC from the author.
This book is so short it is difficult for me to review. There is a lot of sex in those 41 pages. There is a small amount of story. I enjoyed it in spite of everything I just mentioned.

I really liked catching up with these two this was a great follow up to Creeping a Cowboy we get to see how Silas and Ginger are doing five years after they get married. I really liked that they still had the same attraction and chemistry for each other.
Silas & Ginger have a unique relationship. After 5 years of marriage & a child, they still have the hots for each other. Having been gone for the past week, Silas is ready to have Ginger all to himself but first he must go to the Valentine dance to make her happy. On their way home, they take a detour and get stranded in the middle of winter. Can the ghosts from the past help them out of a bad situation? I love these two together. They make your heart warm!!
As always with a Daisy Gold short story, there is definitely the heat, but with this one there was an intimacy with the couple. I liked how the couple was portrayed as being married a few years and comfortable with their wants and desires. I also, liked the underlining message that was being told.
I received this book free as an ARC, in order for an honest review.
Reunited. That seems to be the theme of this book. Silas and Ginger are not at odds with each other but are tiptoeing around each other because of possible life changes with the family. Silas is willing to make a change but not without the help and consultation from his wife she is willing to try to make a change. They have a good marriage. the circumstances being that that what they are Past mistakes of loved ones and current loves or making sure that they stay connected. because it would definitely suck if they can’t stay together after a misunderstanding. This is like an extra continuation of a good story with more steam. It’s not Halloween but Valentines is just as great.

Ginger and Silas are still having all sorts of fun!!!
A Cowboy Valentine is a delicious little story about Silas and Ginger, from Creeping a Cowboy. It seems these two are perpetually getting themselves into some trouble on holidays.
Silas and Ginger have now been married for five glorious years and have a wonderful little girl. Silas has arrived home from being in California for a week after getting a job offer from an old friend who is founding a start-up tech company. All he wants is to get clean and get Ginny naked for the night. But she has other ideas and instead makes him take her to a Valentine’s Day dance at the Wilkes High School gym. The worst part is that it is dry and all he wants is a glass of whiskey.
Silas gets territorial when a young deputy tries to lay a kiss on Ginny’s cheek and he throws her over his shoulder and puts her in the truck. On the way home they have some very steamy play time at the old homestead/hanging tree where they first met. Some truths are told and some punishments are given, but never to hurt. It seems Ginny and Silas have been having a lot of fun exploring their boundaries over the last five years of marriage and it has gotten very fun indeed.
Okay I just loved this story. It was fun, had a bit of drama, some suspense, a bit of the supernatural, romance, family, and a whole lot of sexy and spicy chemistry…………….and all that packed into a short story!!! This is a definite must read if you already know Daisy Gold and the Real Good Men of Oklahoma series or if you want to try a new author that you will add to your “must buy” list.
Happy Valentines Day and happy reading!!!
