Double ouch.
But when Travis spots Millie at his brother’s wedding, he learns she broke up with that other guy.
Perfect.
Gathering his courage, he asks her to dance, only to have his brother point out they’re swaying under the mistletoe. So Travis does the only thing he can—he kisses Millie.
Millie Hepworth plans parties for a living, and Travis is crazy-busy on the ranch with his brother off on his honeymoon. So he does the only thing he can think of to keep Millie close.
He hires her to plan a Christmas party for him and his brothers out at Chestnut Ranch.
No big deal.
He forgot about the part where he works constantly and doesn’t have much to say, especially to a successful, sassy woman like Millie. Oh, and the part where his mother has always hosted the Christmas party…
Oops.
This is why cowboys should never kiss under the mistletoe.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Travis and Millie both have things to work out, Travis does not say much and Millie has jealousy issues. It was a real emotional rollercoaster ride with them but chemistry was great.

I loved the story. Travis and Millie are great character. I can’t wait to read the next book. I love it when I find an author that writes wonderful clean romance stories.
Travis is very quiet and likes simple things. He has a great relationship with his brothers as they all work together in the ranch.
Millie comes back home because her mother has cancer and needs help.
Both Travis and Millie have insecurities. I don’t like Millie very much; I can’t understand why she is so jealous when Travis has never given her a reason for it.
The story is sweet and clean but, at least for me, it is very slow and too long.
All in all, I enjoyed the book. 3 stars and a half.
Sweet Christian Christmas romance. When Millie kisses Travis under the mistletoe at his brother’s wedding, something special begins. Travis and Millie are both characters I enjoyed getting to know. Millie’s willingness to give up her life to move back home and take care of her mother touched my heart. I recommend this book and this series.
I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

A clean, wholesome holiday cowboy romance. Wonderful characters and a story line set in a beautiful location. Yes it’s part of a series but can be read as a stand alone story. No spoilers here, just the words it’s a wonderful, romantic story you don’t want to miss out on. Highly recommend!

This is the second book in this series that I have read and it’s every bit as good as the first. Good likeable characters and a excellent storyline. I look forward to reading the other brothers’ stories.

This is a wonderfully written romance. All the characters are nicely portrayed along with their different personalities. The setting is a ranch with all different types of animals. Each character plays a big part in the whole scheme of things. Their romances, hurts, and family. The brothers are really close. I truly recommend the book and the first in series. Traditions are made and family rejoined. I received this as a free review book and am voluntarily writing this review.

Travis had picked Millie at the rapid dating event but she was already dating someone else when was ready to ask her out. Then several months later he sees her at his brother’s wedding and when dancing they kiss under the mistletoe. She’s over the moon for him but he’s a little slow on the uptake but…persistence pays off and there really is a happily ever after. Travis is a great guy but a bit gun shy.

When Millie returns to her hometown to take care of her mother, she runs into her old flame. Things haven’t changed much with Travis: still quiet and reserved. Millie is wanting to start her own event planning business and she shadows an event planner for Travis’s brothers’ wedding…when the mistletoe is hanging.
Can they make it work this time?

Cowboys Never Kiss Under the Mistletoe is book two in Emmy Eugene’s Chestnut Ranch Cowboy Billionaire Romance series. The book focuses on the relationship between Travis Johnson, billionaire rancher, and Millie Hepworth, event planner hired by Travis to arrange his family’s Christmas party at the ranch. This couple first met at Travis’ brother’s wedding where they were coaxed to kiss when under mistletoe. The kiss secures quiet Travis’ pursuit of Millie who also cannot forget the kiss. This is a well written and clean book which is filled with a slow build up to romance and love. The novel is an enjoyable read!

Emmy Eugene brings us two characters that have major trust issues. I could feel Travis’ discomfort in crowded situations and the hurt he feels when he thinks he is not enough. Millie’s distrust has real causes that are not helped by circumstances easily misinterpreted. I enjoyed seeing them work painfully through their problems. The book is well written and I look forward to reading about the rest of the family.
In this book slow and steady gets the girl! I liked how the relationship was a gradual build towards the HEA but I was not comfortable with whether Millie ever completely resolved her insecurity issues. I felt like this left us wondering more than necessary. Maybe the author will show us continued growth in Millie as a secondary character in future books? Also, I think the original title of the book, The Cowboy Billionaires Mistletoe Kiss, was far more accurate and appealing than the title it ended up being published under.
So, 3 1/2 stars for those reasons. Those issues brought my rating down.
