He wasn’t supposed to kiss her – but there was mistletoe. Can Travis and Millie find a way to turn their mistletoe kiss into true love?Travis Johnson attended the speed-dating event during Chestnut Springs’s Octoberfest and got exactly two phone numbers. One woman’s already told him there’s no spark between them.Ouch.The other has a boyfriend.Double ouch. But when Travis spots Millie at his … boyfriend.
Double ouch.
But when Travis spots Millie at his brother’s wedding, he learns she broke up with that other guy.
Perfect.
Gathering his courage, he asks her to dance, only to have his brother point out they’re swaying under the mistletoe. So Travis does the only thing he can—he kisses Millie.
Millie Hepworth plans parties for a living, and Travis is crazy-busy on the ranch with his brother off on his honeymoon. So he does the only thing he can think of to keep Millie close.
He hires her to plan a Christmas party for him and his brothers out at Chestnut Ranch.
No big deal.
He forgot about the part where he works constantly and doesn’t have much to say, especially to a successful, sassy woman like Millie. Oh, and the part where his mother has always hosted the Christmas party…
Oops.
This is why cowboys should never kiss under the mistletoe.

Travis and Millie’s story was awesome. It was great seeing characters from the first book also. I loved how author wrote a good, clean storyline. And I loved the Christmas theme. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

A wonderful, clean, homey, cowboy billionaire, holiday romance. Great characters and setting. Not necessary to read the first book to read this one but the first one is great so why wouldn’t you?
I came into this book worried about the chemistry and communication between the 2 love interests (based on a few reviews I read – I normally don’t read them but I did this time). I supposed I can see where they were coming from, but I disagree. I found there to be chemistry, maybe a tad less than normal, but still similar to the type you generally find in a clean romance. I also thought they did a good job of trying to communicate through their own past issues, even if things didn’t always get resolved through it.
Holiday and party planning and billionaire cowboys out working.. different from the first book in the series.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was great having characters that are well developed and engaging and have plenty of chemistry. The flow of the storyline was steady and smooth.

Second book in the series. A sweet small town story. Characters are interesting with just enough drama to keep your attention. Looking forward to the next book.
This is the second book in this series and I have to say I have loved both of them The thing I love about this author is that she definitely writes a slow burn story We get to really know these characters and their lives some people may not like that but I don’t always want to read slam bam thank you mam reads.
Travis trained and worked as a carpenter but has now returned to Chestnut ranch to work with his brothers he is a typical cowboy spare with his words and thinks everything through before he says anything Millie gas returned to town to care for her mother and also start a event planning business. Travis employs her to organise the Christmas ranch party so that he can keep her near but with her jealousy issues and his lack of communication do they have any chance at forming a relationship You will have to read to see
Both characters have some issues to work through and their love for each other pushes them to do that. They behave like best friends much of the time, a great foundation for a lasting relationship.
I enjoy small town cowboy romances. This one was ok.
The story didn’t flow for me. Travis and Millie didn’t seem to connect. I didn’t feel any chemistry between them. They both had insecurities. Travis seemed to come to terms with his, but the book left me with the sense that Millie was going to ignore hers. After speaking to her dad, I guess I expected something more.
Maybe it was because I thought the H/h were older and it was more like they were in their late teens trying to connect while not being sure of what they were doing.
Travis and Millie got their HEA, and the ending was sweet. There is also some info about the next two books at the end involving Russ and Rex if I’m not mistaken.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy received from Booksprout.
