She’s his boss. He’s had a crush on her for a couple of summers now. Can Toni and Griffin mix business and pleasure while making sure the teens they’re in charge of stay in line?Griffin Johnson likes getting away from his brothers and the ranch every summer, going to Camp Clear Creek, where he’s a counselor for teenage boys. Finally, some peace. He loves his brothers, don’t get him wrong. He just … his brothers, don’t get him wrong. He just needs a break sometimes. His desire to work at Clear Creek has nothing to do with the curvy, gorgeous Toni Beardall.
Noo, nothing at all.
Toni has just been promoted to the senior director at camp, and she’s not accepting any funny business this summer. Not from the kids. Not from her counselors.
Oh, no, she is not.
Not only that, but she’s just spent two years with the wrong guy. Finding another cowboy to break her heart?
Not happening.
Can Griffin find a way to heal Toni’s heart? Or will their camp romance end when summer does?

I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

Great story about a family of cowboys and what they for their lives.
I loved getting to know more about Griff and Toni in this story. Toni is the head of the camp program where Griff and Rex worked for the past 3 seasons. But the camp is struggling financially. Things get somewhat awkward because Toni puts up walls because of her past and tries to handle taking care of aging parents. The one thing I found really distracting about this book was when Serena and Darren are introduced too early in the story considering their story will be the next book.
It was a good book that I enjoyed reading. So check it out for yourself.

A story about a couple of people in love with each other that need to trust and communicate more. If you don’t talk about your feelings to your couple, there could be misunderstandings that can break the relationship.
Nice reading.
I really liked this book. It is full of raw emotions. Two people love each other then turn away from each other. It is the way life is sometimes and Griffin and Toni were good at it. I love reading Emmy’s book and can’t wait for the next one to come out. You will love the Johnson brothers.
An enjoyable fifth book in the Chestnut Ranch Cowboy Billionaire Romance series! The story line is well-developed, emotionally deep, well written, and relatable. The ups and downs, drama, romance, amazing chemistry, and likeable characters will keep you interested from start to finish. Definitely recommended.

All the potential in the world, the developing story line was interesting and had the makes of a wonderful novel; however, I never could become engaged with my attention fully invested. I will definitely have to give this story another try later on.

I enjoyed this story and I liked that, since we’re moving away from the Johnson brothers, we’re introduced to the leading couple of the next book. At first, I was a little startled by the way that they’re introduced, but since I read another author that handles this in a similar way, I was able to recognize what was going on fairly quickly. I seem to have a slightly different reaction to our leading couple than most other reviewers, though. I wasn’t bothered by Giffin’s reluctance to discuss his fortune. His reasons made perfect sense to me. It was Toni’s reaction to it that irked me the most. Sure they’ve known each other for a couple of years, but they’ve only been “together” a short while; how is his bank balance any of her business? And what right does she have getting her nose out of joint about it? He asked for more details about the operating budget of the camp and she blew him off. I appreciated that both of them recognized that they had equally played a part in the issues keeping them apart and were both able to apologize for their actions. The lead-in for the next book intrigues me and I’m looking forward to reading it.

This is book 5 in the series but you can read it without reading the previous books, you shouldn’t be lost. Once you read this one, you’ll want to go back and read the previous 4 books. An enjoyable story line that’s well written and flows smoothly. The characters are very likable and fun to get to know in the story. A sweet and clean romance you’ll love reading.

This is the first book that I have read by Emmy Eugene. I liked it so much that I am going to read the other four books in this series soon.
A Cowboy and his Boss is book 5 in The Chestnut Ranch Cowboy Billionaire series.
Griffin Johnson is the next to the youngest of the men. He is a counselor for teenage boys at Camp Clear Creek. He does this to get away from his brothers and have some piece and quiet.
Toni Beardall just got a promotion at the camp. She is now senior director which makes her Griffins boss. She had just spent two years with the wrong cowboy so she does not want to get involved with anyone.
Will these two end up with a romance? Maybe or maybe not.

Griffin has had a crush on his boss Toni at summer camp since he started working there two years ago. In the beginning of this book he discovers she’s attracted to him too and builds up the courage to have a secret romantic relationship with her. But her camp is struggling financially and she discovers he has money. Even though she didn’t say it there were expectations he would save her camp and he worries if he does she’ll think she has to be with him because of that. She blows hot and cold and maybe that’s because her trust in men was broken after the abuse she suffered with her ex and she has to deal with the stress of dependent elderly parents. But instead of being upfront and talking about money she puts up walls. It was also a bit distracting that in the middle of the story it shifts to another couple whose romance is in the next book in this series. I like Darren and Sarena and their lives and story has many layers, which I’m looking forward to reading. But the start of it would have been better placed nearer to the end. This was a clean romance with several funny and sweet moments.
Griffin is the last of the Johnson brothers to find his soulmate. This is a sweet clean romance, i really enjoyed it.

I’m so excited to finally read Griffin’s story with Toni. She’s a camp director. He spends supper there as a counselor. The camp loses a major funding source, and it looks like they’ll have to close down unless they find new donors. Griffin has the means to fund the camp, and to do so for many years to come. But he’s worried that Toni will view his potential donation as contingent on their relationship. This book did not disappoint me in any way. It’s a clean romance with just a touch of drama, and a ton of strong family values. I loved seeing Griffin and Toni work through their issues toward a happy ending. Darren and Sarena – really looking forward to their story next.

Griffin is definitely one of the good guys. I can understand how in family as large and rowdy as his, this quiet young man could feel out of place and uncomfortable at times. His family is overwhelming. The fact that he has spent almost nothing out the billions he received from his mother also says a lot about his character. Toni is perfect for him as long as he can be sure she likes him, not his money. Working out the details is hard when you are also trying to run a summer camp, find funding for continuation of the camp, take care of aging parents and spend time with a quiet cowboy. Life is never boring with the Johnson family.
Book five in the Chestnut Ranch series and it is just as good as the first four. I really liked both Griffin and Toni even if Griffin seemed to be reluctant to talk about his money for some reason. Really, what did he expect would happen since he wouldn’t discuss it? Exactly what did happen, anyway!!
I have enjoyed each book in this series and look forward to reading the next one when it is released!

Griffin is heading out to Camp Clear Creek as a counselor where he will get to spend the summer with his boss Toni. He has been crazy about her for a while and he hopes she feels the same way. This summer is turning out just the way he imagined until the funding for the camp gets pulled and the camp may have to shut down. When Toni finds out he is a billionaire things between them get a little sticky. Can Griffin and Toni repair their relationship?
