Toni had been badly treated in the past and trust herself was hard. Working to improve herself, she has grown to the point where she is the camp director and loves every aspect of her rebuilt life. She is Griffin’s boss at summer camp and when she gets to spend time with him at his brother’s wedding, Griffin realizes he would to be more than just friends. An interesting read as they work through trust issues, dealing with aging parents and a love that must be kept discreet because they work with young impressionable minds.

Griffin has been crushing on his boss Toni for what seems like
forever. Toni has major cannon ball size baggage from a past marriage
and it festers like no tomorrow and it makes difficult for her to trust.
Griffin and Toni had a lot of ups and downs great book.

This is the fifth book in Emmy Eugene’s Chestnut Ranch Cowboys series. Griffin is the next to youngest of the Johnson sons. Every summer he works as a counselor at a youth camp. He’s been attracted to Toni for the last few years but she’s the boss.
Toni has been through a rough marriage and divorce, therefore she is cautious. She’s attracted to Griffin, however she hasn’t dated for nine years. Griffin being her employee they keep their relationship secret, the other complications arise that put a strain on them.
I thought this story was interesting and well written.

An easy to read charmer.
I so enjoy reading books where the main character is a cowboy and Griffin is such a sweetheart. Toni is another great character and as a director for a youth camp, I just knew this was a character a reader could admire. This easy to read charmer had all the elements that I love in a romance a bit of a bumpy ride, misunderstanding, and sweet-sweet love in the end. This was an entertaining afternoon read that you will not go wrong getting. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This was a great book and I loved reading about how Griffin and Toni find a happy ending. I have read about all the previous brothers and there relationships and how they found their way to happily ever after. This book did not disappoint at all and look forward to reading the other in this series.

Toni learns her major donor has passed away and the camp will close at the end of summer. Griffin considered stepping in to save the camp. Their relationship gets weird and they break up. Will the camp be saved? Will Griffin and Toni ever reunite?

Another wonderful story from Emmy Eugene. The fifth Johnson brother falls in love with his boss at a summer job. Drama and secrets complicate things but all the issues lead to a HEA. Griffin finally gets his chance at romance. Sweet, clean story with enough drama and emotional interaction to hold your interest. We are also introduced to the main characters in the next book in the series. Looking forward to more books by this author.
4.5 stars. Another great story by Emmy Eugene about one of the Johnson brothers. I enjoyed Griffin’s story. I enjoyed his character, so different from his brothers. I liked the other characters as well. The love story was sweet and clean with a great ending. Though it felt a little disjointed at first, it was also interesting to see how the author brought in part of the story for her next book to set it up and catch your interest.
I received a complimentary copy of the book. All opinions are my own and are expressed voluntarily.
I’m sad that this last Johnson has his HEA because I love these guys and the novels Emmy has written for them. This book was great, just like all the others, with wonderful, personable characters. I’m intrigued by the introduction of their ranch hand and I’m looking forward to where things go with the ranch had additions.

Another good story about the brothers who inherit a boatload of money and then find their true love. All does not go smoothly for Griffin and Toni, but that is to be expected. None of the brothers had an easy road An enjoyable addition to the series

Another Johnson brother off the market. I do enjoy this series. 3.5 stars. It’s not all smooth sailing for the Johnson brothers, but the books are not over run with angst.
I thought Toni would push back more about being involved with Griffin because she was his boss. I did like them together when things were going well. I could not fathom why they could not have a discussion about Griffin’s money. It seemed like Griffin could have brought up how he felt to start the conversation since he had the most reservations. Especially after the end result was what he was worried about.
I don’t know about anyone else, but when Darren and Serena were introduced into the story, I thought another book had accidentally been placed in the middle of A Cowboy and His Boss. I didn’t remember Darren having a place in the book. Then when Serena and her sisters were tossed in the mix, I was completely thrown off.
The Griffin and Toni situation was eventually resolved but I expected It to take more work for them to get to their HEA.
A sweet, small town cowboy romances with an HEA. Fast-paced and easy to read.

This is quite a good Cowboy story. There are already a few in this series of billionaire Cowboy brothers and according to this story, we will continue down this road with their ranch hands. Great. Just one word to say about that as this story and the previous ones I have read have all been quite good. And it has brought me quite the pleasure while reading these stories. This story here has a good storyline and good characters. The flow in the story is good and it just makes you feel good to read this one. So fabulous four stars for this story and I am most certainly looking forward to the rest of this series – or just more in this series, but as always this is only my opinion.
