A chance meeting when the hotel fire alarm goes off. Standing out in the cold in your pajamas when you meet a hot guy. Having a drink at the bar in your pajamas with a man whose last name or occupation you don’t know. Asking him to your room to see if the electricity you felt when you touched the first time. Jeremy &. Isabel both felt it and now that st can act on it. Little do they know they will become adversaries in a short time

This is a second-chance / enemies to lovers type trope and I’m here for it. Isabel is a attorney who had a one-night stand… and suddenly her part-time lover shows up as her opponent in the courtroom. What ensues is a battle of wills and some Christmas magic.

What draws me to Isabel is her strength. Booth holds nothing back when it comes to creating heroines worth being proud of. Smart, sexy and sensitive prove to be a fierce combination. A Christmas Rendezvous is a savory tale of heartache and courage that lingers in the heart from beginning to end.
It is a cute story! I loved how Isabel meets Jeremy. It was a quick and enjoyable read. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
I loved this story. It is the kind that you can identify with the characters and immerse yourself in the story. Very well written and characters to win the heart make this book a must read.

Nothing objectionable about this fun holiday one night stand that isn’t just one night.
Jeremy and Isabel meet during a fire alarm at a NYC hotel and share a hot night that ends abruptly. A few days later then discover they are opposing counsel on a high stakes case. They do their best to stay professional but the chemistry lingers as does a different connection from that night.
I really liked that neither character was unnecessarily ruthless or rude but instead hard working people you could respect. The chemistry was sizzling and Cat was too cute!
This is a great romance story! It brings the Christmas spirit and romance. This is a well developed story that kept I had a hard time putting down. The characters are connectable and made the story engaging. I didnt regret picking this book up and neither will you. A great book to warm your night. I highly recommend this book.
They are both lawyers and she never expected her case to go to court where she meets him. A one night stand happens and she ends up pregnant. What will happen now? Will they never see each other again? Will he want to be a father? Will they become a family? See how they get on

This was a cute read. Something to pass the time when it’s cold outside. A nice ending to the series.
Electrifying chemistry! With A CHRISTMAS RENDEZVOUS, the fourth and final book in her Eden Empire series, Karen Booth takes us along for a delectable ride as on lawyer faces off against another in the fight for Eden Department Store … only trouble is, no one knows they were just each other’s one night stand!
There’s more to Isabel Blackwell than meets the eye, and she isn’t exactly thrilled to be brought into the middle of an all out war for control of the Eden holdings, but she’d do just about anything for her brother Sam, and he wants to help Mindy save her grandmother’s legacy.
Jeremy Sharp comes across as a fun-loving guy, but as we delve more into his past, we realize that he’s just a guy who’s been hurt one time too many and holds himself far removed from relationships these days. He doesn’t expect to see his one night stand across the boardroom the next day, but when it’s the situation that’s handed to him, he’s determined to do a good job for his client regardless.
I highly recommend this story to anyone looking for a fast paced, enthralling read. The entire series has been great, but there was just something about Isabel and Jeremy that really made me love this story … maybe the best of the entire series!
The fourth and final book in this wonderful series and even though each story is a stand alone I do think you will appreciate the story better if you have read the previous books especially A bet with benefits
This is the story of Isabel Blackwell she is the sister of Sam from A bet with benefits she is a corporate lawyer in Washington who has achieved everything she wants in life only problem seeing her brother and Mindy she realises she has no personal life and she decides she needs to change that So she gives up the corporate world and is about to open a adoption law firm in New York so she is near her brother and the Eden sister she has grown to like. First she has been asked to defend The Eden Empire against a multi million dollar lawsuit. In the process she will meet Jeremy Sharp the lawyer of the man she is defending against He isn’t happy and can never live up to his father expectations including this case which he didn’t want to take. What he doesn’t know is that this case will have a huge impact on his life in ways he doesn’t understand yet.
4.5 Stars
A Christmas Rendezvous is the fourth and final book in Karen Booth’s Eden Empire series. While you don’t have to read all the previous books, I think reading A Bet with Benefits will help you to understand some events and the importance of this story.
Isabel Blackwell was first introduced in her brother’s story A Bet with Benefits. Initially, she wasn’t a very big fan of the Eden sisters. But over time, she has come to love and respect them all. For the last several years, Isabel, a lawyer by trade, has been a DC fixer. She’s extremely good at her job. However, the rat race has been weighing on her. Seeing what her brother Sam has with Mindy Eden has made her realize she’s been neglecting her heart and personal life for far too long. Isabel is ready for a fresh start. Her fresh start includes relocating to New York and opening an adoption law firm. But before she can get her new business venture up and running, she has to deal with a potentially catastrophic lawsuit against Eden’s department store. Technically, Eden’s legal team should be handling this, but since the future of Eden’s and the reputation of the Eden family are at stake, Sam convinces Isabel that she has to take on this one last case.
Forty-year-old Jeremy Sharp seems to have it all. He has a large house in Brooklyn. He’s a partner at his family’s law firm. He has a fantastic personality. He’s also easy on the eyes. But for Jeremy, things are not as they seem. Jeremy is a very lonely man who works extremely long hours and is constantly looking for and hoping for his parents’ acceptance, approval, and praise. Jeremy is currently working on a case he himself would not have chosen. But at his father’s insistence, Jeremy is representing Benjamin Summers in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Eden’s department store. In fact, this lawsuit will change Jeremy’s life forever.
Okay, so I can’t talk about A Christmas Rendezvous too much. I don’t want to give anything away. What I can say is that I have a little crush on both Jeremy and Isabel. They are both great characters. When it’s just the two of them together, you really see them shine. However, at the same time, when their case and the outside world intrudes on them, you see them bending but not breaking. It’s during these times that you’re able to see their strength and devotion to each other. Isabel and Jeremy share the same hopes and dreams. In the past, they have each been tested, failed, and left to pick up the pieces of their broken hearts and lives. Together, they prove to be a united front and make each other stronger.
There are so many wonderful moments in this story. I honestly thought Karen backed herself into a corner with trying to save Eden’s from ruin and giving Isabel and Jeremy the HEA they so desperately deserved. She managed to pull off the impossible. And that’s why she should be on everyone’s reading list. Yes, she’s one of my favorite authors, but she’s got there by writing stories like this. A Christmas Rendezvous proved to be a really nice ending to a series where the women are the ones in power, who show they can truly have it all.

This is the final book in The Eden Empire series, Isabel isn’t an Eden but her brother Sam in engaged to one, so she’s soon to be family. Going into battle(ok only a legal one) with her one night squeeze, Jeremy Sharp who is opposing counsel. They have plenty of chemistry that sizzles between them and now they have bigger problems than the Eden family losing the company. Can they fight to win in the end? Wonderful story
I was stoked we got another book about the Eden Empire and Isabel deserved it so we could see how the dynamics between her and her brother Sam along with the Eden sisters was now. Due to a faulty fire alarm she meets a hot stranger and unfortunately the night is memorable for more than one reason…….Jeremy turns out to be opposing council! There is plenty of frustration, attraction, secrets, anger, snow, along with a pregnant cat and the chance of a well deserve happy ever after for Isabel and Jeremy.

Will Isabel finally have a Christmas to remember
I loved the continued story of the Eden Empire series though focused on Sam’s sister, a high profile attorney brought in to fight the battle against an outrageous loan now past due many years. Isabel meets Jeremy after the hotel fire alarm sends her out on the street in her bathrobe and Jeremy offers to buy her a drink in the hotel bar where he’d been having a drink. But one drink leads to Isabel’s hotel room until a broken condom brings an end to the evening. Fast forward to the next day, and Isabel and Jeremy discover they are opposing council which they hide from their clients. But Isabel and Jeremy’a attraction can’t be forgotten, expecially with a surprise addition, hidden secrets revealed, and bad press! I couldn’t put this book down until I turned the last page.
Kittens and one-night stands kind of go together.
Isabel and Jeremy have some history, a one-night stand kind of history. The story is about a case where Isabel and Jeremy are on different sides of the issue. That does not mean they do not have some fun and games but the case is highly important to Isabel. There some serious hiccups in this one and both Isabel and Jeremy have to deal with family issues, but the book was a good read and I highly recommend it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I’m so sad to say goodbye to the Eden family. I’ve loved the time I’ve spent getting to know these feisty ladies. And even though Isabel is a Blackwell, she fits into the Eden family almost as if she were born to it. Hers and Jeremy’s story starts out looking like a case of “what’s the worst that can happen?” when after their one-night stand, they discover they’re on opposite sides of the Summers v. Eden legal battle. It turns into a complex and complicated story about expectations – both our own and others’ – and the ties that bind families together. I adored how flawed and vulnerable Jeremy and Isabel show themselves to be, and watching them find their way together was an absolute delight.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
An enjoyable read. Strong and well developed characters and a story line that flows smoothly. There’s chemistry between Isabella and Jeremy that’s real and being opposing counsel on a case, they find a way to keep their professional and personal lives separate.

Book four of The Eden Empire series a well written story that held my interest throughout. This is high-powered attorney Isabel Blackwell and litigator, Jeremy Sharp’s story of two people who should not work as a couple but do. I enjoyed reading their story.
