A kiss is just a kiss… he’ll never forget. But after a simple kiss under the mistletoe, Ellie and Josiah both start questioning everything. Can Christmas really bring the gift neither one of them were expecting: true love?
I have decided for 2021 to review one Christmas book on the 25th of every month. Who says Christmas reads have to be reserved for the holiday season alone? I actually read A Christmas Homecoming around Thanksgiving but was never able to get my review up for one reason or another, but I will say it was the perfect way to kick off my holiday season!
A Christmas Homecoming has a very Hallmark-esque feel to it, as in it is a little too good to be true and squeaky clean, but it’s hard not to fall in love with the characters and the dreamy setting.
I did crave a little more drama and less of the sugary sweetness, but that’s just a personal preference. There are some stories that are just a little too perfect, and this is one of them, and I tend to bend towards the more realistic, flawed stories myself, but if that is you’re thing you are in going to love this book.
Though “practically perfect in every way” this was a deliciously quick read that captures your attention and your imagination, igniting the holiday spirit within your heart.

This is a good Christmas book to read if you are looking for a good read that not like all the other happy go lucky most Christmas books are. This book gives a realistic idea about what Christmas is really like in the busy world we are in today.

I really enjoyed this book. I read it in one day. I really loved all the characters and how sweet and generous they were. It was a very good love story with a lot of the mushy kind! A perfect Christmas book! I would recommend this book.

Ellie is determined to make up for Christmases past by spreading holiday cheer throughout the Bar VS dude ranch. Tech “bah humbug” billionaire Josiah refuses to back in the spirit of the season. Unwilling to let the geek-to-gorgeous Josiah win, Ellie plans to give him a Christmas he will never forget. After a simple kiss under the mistletoe, Ellie and Josiah both start questioning everything. Christmas may really bring the gift of true love that neither was expecting. – Ellis is kind, caring, and genuinely a good person. She helps Josiah’s attitude. They are sweet together. The book is good but a little slow at times.

When Josiah runs into his high school best friend’s sister – all grown up – he cannot believe they are the same person.
Eleanor – now Ellie – is set to help Josiah recuperate from a pretty drastic illness. He is sent to the ranch where he must rest and go through therapy to rebuild his strength. Can this multi-billionaire manage what he is feeling and turn his bah-humbug attitude into something meaningful for Christmas? Can the pest from years past get to him in a different way?
Another good book by Melissa McClone.
