She’ll pick up the order herself. When … signature chocolate required for the candy won’t be delivered on time.
No problem. She’ll pick up the order herself.
When she reaches the diner where the delivery man is stranded, she retrieves the chocolate and intends to return to her shop. But a downed tree detains her. And the handsome, kind man who owns the diner makes her want to stay, especially after she accepts his challenge to prepare homemade delectable chocolates with him.
There’s something about Oliver Menroe’s gentle mannerisms, his genuine interest in his customers, that ignites a hope Sally had extinguished long ago. As a disillusioned single mother, she knows from experience that love doesn’t last forever.
But can she allow herself to believe that one simple ingredient can sweeten their mutual attraction and … for the first time in her life … create a lasting love?

A short fun read, but with great characters. Sally doesn’t know it but she needs Oliver. I enjoyed this book.
Short, but oh so sweet!
This Is a beautiful story about two people who find love when God and bad weather bring them together. Sally and Oliver have buried themselves in their work to put aside the pain of the past rather than risk hurt again. The romance was full-sized, but I really wish the story had been just a little longer.
Sally runs her own chocolate shop but just when she thinks everything is smooth sailing for Valentine’s day her signature chocolate is stranded at a diner so she just goes to pick it up but she is waylaid by a tree so Oliver the owner of the diner asks her to stay and so she does and they make chocolate together but is that all they make together. I suggest and strongly recommend you read this book because it is a page turner and the way this author writes is amazing you will be hooked too.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a short and sweet romance between Sally and Oliver. She finds that life sometimes makes you slow down and taste the chocolate, savor it. Oliver plans to be the one that helps her do just that. I really enjoyed their story.

Sally was a single mom that was divorced who owned a specialty candy shop. It was nearing Valentine’s Day and the chocolate for some new infusion special orders had been delayed. Oliver was the divorced owner of a small diner that he personally saw that everyone was seen to. The sweet and fun romance between Sally and Oliver began the night that Sally ventured out to retrieve her special order chocolates, but she ended up with more than she could ever imagine. This was a sweet and fun romance where Sally and Oliver had an easy, flowing connection that grew extremely fast with the knowledge that this was the one.

This little novella moves along nicely and although it is only 4 chapters, it made me smile reading it. The characters were interesting, likable and felt real. I liked seeing their connection unfold and seeing their bravery at taking another chance on love after being hurt.

Great short story.
Because it’s a short story there isn’t much character growth, but we do see some.
The romance is sweetly built through an evening stuck in a diner with a handful of strangers.
Oliver and Sally are well written characters with great personalities. Their interaction is very pleasant to read. A cute Valentine story based around chocolate.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
I really enjoyed this audiobook! A quick listen that kept my attention. Characters were well developed and I enjoyed the bits of characters continued from the series. The narrator, Allyson Voller, did a fantastic job with all the character voices. She drew me into the story and brought it to life. It’s like I was sitting in Olive’s dine right along with the characters. I received a copy of the audiobook and provided an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book! The story is really cute altho it could be a little longer! I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance books!
A Chocolate-Box Valentine (Chocolate-Box #3) was a great read by Josie Riviera. Sally designed an infusion candy for Valentine’s Day but unfortunately the signature chocolate won’t be delivered on time. She decides to meet the delivery driver at the diner that he’s stranded at to pick up the order herself. Unfortunately a downed tree strands her and she takes the diner owner, Oliver, on to prepare homemade chocolates together. I enjoyed reading Sally and Oliver’s story and can’t wait to read more by author.
A wonderful well written short second chance romance. This sweet standalone is part of a fun delightful story. Stranded and forced to take a break a feel good HEA emerges. The characters are interesting and well developed with great chemistry. The narrator does a beautiful job of bringing the characters and descriptions to life.
