I’m a Crichton fan but this is a good book. I found it especially interesting as it was set a few decades ago.
This book is really old. The outdated medical information had me shaking my head that in my lifetime, although I was small when it was written, everything had changed so much. I do believe that I had read a note to that effect in the reviews that this was the case. The story itself ties together plots in a weird way and the pathologist as the …
Love anything Michael wrote.
A really good gripping novel–a very good novel.
I really like Crichton. This wasn’t bad- a lot of characters to keep up with! Worth the money and my time!
Michel Crichton’s work is always current to the time it was written & this is no exception. You learn a lot about a current social/technological issue along with a page-turner mystery. There is no one better.
Great book. Addresses a very sensitive issue as the basis for the mystery. Very well written, very interesting, with a bit of a surprise ending.
Interesting! Couldn’t put down!
One of his earlier works, but I believe when you’ve got it, it shows. Have been a Michael Crichton fan for many, many years. As with so many things, practice makes perfect, or at least improves with time. Don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed in any of his books.
I love Dorothea Benton Frank’s books, lovely stories in settings I am familiar with. Please keep them coming!
As always, Michael Crichton’s books are a page turner. Started reading and didn’t stop till I got to the end. Stayed up way too late to finish it.
Good read, factual insight into medical ways.
Although the book is dated (about a doctor charged with murder due to performing an abortion in the late 1960s), it is well-researched and well-told.
