This was an incredibly sweet and up-beat story, providing our beautiful main character with a much deserved happiness and a break from all the bad stuff that happened previously. Although it can be read as a standalone story, I find it so much better now that I know the characters. Also, it might contain a couple of spoilers if you haven’t read the Book 1.
This is a wonderfully steamy Valentine’s break from the outside world featuring Liza, Kade and Parker. There are lot of emotions here, their relationship is evolving and did I mention how hot and steamy this story is?
It is beautifully written, which is not a surprise to anyone who has read the author’s previous book. This story also helps to tie the reader over in anticipation of the next book. This is a great series and a promising new author who keeps on delivering great stories.
A Call To Pride (Unsung Veil Book 1) is where Liza’s adventure starts.
A Call to the Heart is a Valentines novella in the Unsung Veil series, and it was perfect! This is the first Valentine’s Day for Liza with Kade and Parker and she doesn’t know what to expect. Jack and Ryan get called out of town which leaves them alone for the holiday. There’s a snowstorm, some extremely sexy scenes and a super sweet gift for Liza! I loved it and I can’t wait for book two a Call to War!
No spoilers of any kind included!
Another amazing story from Poppy Woods!
She just has a way of leaving her readers wanting and needing more whenever they get to the end of a book that she has written.
Which is probably why she’s put herself at the top of my number one favorite authors list because her stories are absolutely addicting!
I am impatiently waiting for more of her work.
So it’s going to be a big HECK YEAH I definitely do recommend this book because I loved it and I guarantee you will too.
What a sweet Valentine’s short story, and hot, very very hot. I definitely need an ice bath and some chocolate now. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. It’s going to be a hard wait.
I highly recommend you check out this series. Especially if you haven’t read book one, A Call to Pride yet. You won’t be disappointed.
I loved this novella, it was a perfect quick read that kept me entertained and left me wanting more.
Liza, Kade and Parker have a beautiful valentine day that is full if fun, laughter and love.
A Call to Heart is a novella that shows us a peek into Liza and the boys’ first Valentine’s day together. It also shows us a bit about how she is adjusting to her new life.
The boys are sweet in this story. We get to learn a few things about their future and see some tender and some sexy moments.
The writing style is consistent with the previous book and the characters remain consistent. If you liked book one, you’ll like this as well.
I would recommend this novella to anyone who has read a Call to Pride. If you haven’t read book one, do that first since the events here take place after book one. For those who have read book one, this is a nice way to sooth any cravings for this world and whet your appetite for book two!
This novella is a continuation of the first book “A Call to Pride” and follows the story of Liza coming to terms being a supernatural. It is set a few days before Valentine’s Day and shows us the relationship development between Liza and the two brothers. It was sweet, a tad steamy novella and I can’t wait for the next book to come.
I received an ARC and I’m choosing to leave an honest review.
Yet again another book to make me cry. Wwhhyyyyy!!!! Am I this emotional for books now. I need more!!
