The drama related to sorting past and present relationships and needs brings more peril and drama.
And again the existence of the Magical Midway and its inhabitants swings in the balance.
Deception and truths seem to be at the heart of winning or losing everything.
Intense and angst filled adventures.

the beginning and end both rest on failure to trust, listen & act
Great Story – Cliffhanger Ending
I love this series and this episode is a great addition to it. My big complaint is the Cliffhanger ending. Now we have to wait for the next episode to see what happens…The plot of this story is great. It opens up many new doors in the paranormal vs the human world. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
I asked to do this book via a newsletter request. When I was sent the link (by author) to the website to claim the book, the site said not to obtain the book if you haven’t previously read the books or not familiar with the genre. I love paranormal cozy mysteries.
Now I have not read the previous books. However, I can say that if you read the book just focusing on the current crisis, you can follow the story and not be lost. There are lots of references to previous books that you can tell the books definitely build on each other. You will probably want to go back and catch up. Remember if reading this one first, then to just focus on the current story line.
Bit of spoiler alert. the book ends with a ‘semi’ cliffhanger. I also would like to know what the people are planning. Also Tabitha’s game? So read the series.
The reason I gave it fours stars and not five is that this site does not let me do 4.5 stars. i stated the book end of June and had most of it done. However, I had another author’s beta read to get done. SO I put it down to do my beta read (which I feel is an honor to be asked). I was able to pick it back up about a little over a week later. I started right where I left off and finished it July holiday. Here is why not five stars: the book did not create an urgency to get right back to it and finish immediately. I like to read and finish my books. It is very rare that I do a couple at a time. The lack of urgency in the story and that I could put it down and come back to later at any point is why I gave it four stars. Especially since I have just finished different book that just blew me out of the water when writing this review.
this is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
This continuation of the Magical Midway Paranormal series shows how the main character is growing into her new role as a very powerful but not-yet-aware-of-her-full-capabilities witch. It’s a fun read with great twists and turns. The ending leads into the next book which leaves the reader excited to know what is going to happen next! Enjoy!
This is an enjoyable series about a magical circus, or two, and its continuing battle to survive, against both the witches council and also some less paranormal adversaries as well.
I do like the various characters, who are all very well written and quite unique, well most of them are paranormal beings.
However, this book is rather frustrating as it chronicles the worsening problems facing the circus, but doesn’t actually get to the root of what those problems are, hopefully the books to come will explain why they are facing so many issues, and return the series to its 4 star level.

Is the secret out?
This time the story happens away from the Magical Midway. Charlotte has come home to find a missing friend. It seems that a lot of people might know about her magical secret. Can she find her friend in time?
Another enjoyable entry in the Magical Midway series.
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
A Call to Charms is another fun read from Leanne Leeds and the Magical Midway cozy paranormal series. Ms Leeds’ character and world building make you feel you know these people.
I really enjoy a these totally enjoyable and relaxing stories. Charlotte’s experiences moving from being a normal human to becoming Ringmaster of a magical circus full of paranormals fits the bill. There is always someting to challenge her right to be the Ringmaster. If it’s not the Witches Council, it’s humans wanting magic.
Charlotte is trying to deal with Gunther becoming Ringmaster of the Makepeace Circus and what will happen to their future when she finds out her best friend Tabitha Stevens has mysteriously disappeared from Mickwac. Charlotte immediately moves the Magical Midway back to the human world and her small Texas hometown to help find Tabitha.
She finds herself face to face with the ambitions of the newest Mickwac criminal elite who seem to know about her magical powers. The more she searches for her friend, the more hints she gets that her own secrets may be far more known than they should be. What has Tabitha got herself into and is the Witches Council involved?
You’ll just need to read this book to find out how all this comes together. But I warn you, there is a cliffhanger ending, so the next installment had better be out soon.
While not a deep and inciteful story, there are lessons to be learned regarding trust, lies, secrets, and power hungry desires in this page turning, thoroughly enjoyable story. All this deserves 5 stars. I’m looking forward to Charlotte’s next misadventure.
