A very different book about someone who hid her ability. Very entertaining and could not put it down. 5 stars , easy read. Did not see the twist at the end .
Not a page turner but interesting not what I expected.
Great book. It was a fun read. Never boring. First time I have read this author but plan to read more of her work.

A different plot and interesting characters made for a good read. It wasn’t predictable as many are, thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!!
Excellent read.
I’ve always been a fan of Susan Meissner , but A Bridge Across the Ocean is now my favorite.
I will be reading all of Susan Meissen.s book. Great writing, strong story line
Great book, with interesting characters.
Such an interesting read for me. Not my usual genre but I loved it. Very good book.
I really enjoyed this book. We had a war bride from England living next door to us growing up and I couldn’t help thinking about her as I read this book. The supernatural aspects of this book were pleasant and the ending was very satisfactory.
Enjoyed it immensely!
I liked the book. I selected it because I really like the author. I am not really into mystical so it isn’t my favorite but well written.
I had never read a Susan Meissner book before. This story blew my mind. It was so awesome. I could not put it down and read that day until I finished it. It’s true of historical events during World War ll. But it takes place in a past and present day storyline. It’s hard to describe in a category. It was sad, romantic and in some places, scary. The writing and dialogue are really well written and I highly recommend this book.
I liked this book. I grew up in Long Beach. I remember when the Queen Mary arrived and was retrofitted to be a floating hotel. I spent quite a bit of time walking the decks as a teenager when it was free to walk the outer decks. I’ve never taken taken the time to learn about it’s rich history and the role it played in WWII. I liked the characters and I liked the idea the idea of the ship having it’s own memories.
I loved this book!!! Bittersweet and happy combined. The characters were so real and their stories captivating. A wonderful piece of history.
One of my fav books. It is full of moral questions of “what would you do in a situation like this”. A great book club book full of many topics to discuss.
Very worthwhile read!!
I was engrossed in the lives of the women in the story. The history was interesting and the ending was a surprise. I admired the women and was left wanting to know even more. Great story.
Following the Queen Mary from World War Ii to the present day, this is an intriguing look at the transport of war brides from Great Britain to America. Didnit want to put it down.
