I won a copy of this book from the author, I was not required to give a favorable review. This is a beautiful story of love. Sam & Hadley are finally going to have their wedding, they have the placed book for the wedding & reception, everyone gave up their Christmas plans to be there for the wedding, the grooms suits are going to be sharp, she has her dress, Hadley is working with Shay on the cake, and her sister Kate is making the glasses for the couple for the reception. But things start getting really wrong, the barn roof collapes from to much snow, the suits come in, in the wrong color, and the father who is to marry them gets the flu. But somehow they find a new place to have the wedding and the reception and someone to marry them. But then Sam & Matt a bunch of the guys get a multi area call out for a fire. But nothing will stop them from getting married, and get a new addition to the family with a puppy.
A Bride for Sam is a novella by Theresa Paola to following the story of Sam and Hadley, Hung Up on Hadley. With all the uncertainty out of the way, it is time for the wedding. It will be simple and everything is going great, until it isn’t. This is a humorous, but heartbreaking story of all the things that can, and probably will go wrong in the journey to the altar. Sam and Hadley are firm in their commitment and their families are behind them, but things start going wrong. At first they are small and easy to fix but they get tot he point that Hadley wonders if the wedding will happen at all. Of course it will. Sam and Hadley are perfect together.
This is the best series. It is simple and fun. The characters are likable. They are all pretty predictable, but they are seriously wonderful. Characters from the entire series made appearances, always a plus. I always look forward to the next one. I like reading them and listening to them. In this case, I listened to the Audible audio book read by Krista Nicely. Krista is the perfect narrator for these stories. Her voice is easy to listen to and she is able to voice the characters so a listener can always tell who is speaking. These books are heavy on dialogue, so that is a must. I cannot recommend this audio book more highly. It was short, but fun to listen to. The plot was simple, but complex enough to keep the listener’s attention. I found it perfect for the gym. I recommend it highly.
I received a free copy of the audio version of A Bride for Sam from the author,
Theresa Paolo in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions and interpretations are solely my own.
It’s fun to listen to the audiobooks based on Theresa Paolo’s Red Maple Falls stories. The more I listen to them, the more I like them. The characters are so real that’s it is almost like I could visit this fictional town and find all my old friends there.
Sam and Hadley have gone through a lot to finally recognize their love for each other and get together as a couple. Now that their wedding date is drawing near, nothing can go wrong, or can it? As things start falling apart, the couple works to bring things back together to create the best wedding ever.
I loved being back in Red Maple Falls to attend the wedding of Sam and Hadley with all their friends and family. In true Red Maple Falls style everyone jumped in to overcome each hurdle the couple faced to make the wedding perfect.
I really enjoyed this fun novella, just in time for the holidays! It was great to see the Hayes family during Christmas time and all the exciting things each of the siblings have going on with their SOs. It was the perfect book to satisfy my hunger for the next in the series!
