Zoey Rivers has a pretty great job as Head of Staff at Sunnyside Retired Witches Community. She’s good at handling the magical messes that are part and parcel of providing a home for elderly (and some slightly senile) witches. But when the messes turn from slightly sloppy to hugely horrible, Zoey realizes there’s more involved than just her residents. If she doesn’t figure out who’s causing havoc … who’s causing havoc at the Home, the place might not be standing for much longer.
If you love crime capers with magic, mayhem, and mystery, you’ll adore Zoey Rivers and her comical crew of witch retirees.
Please note: This book is a crime caper, not a murder mystery.

A bunch of retired witches, and a kitchen full of Chocolate cake. What could go wrong? Everything.
Quick summer beach read.
Fun read
Light reading.
A light-hearted and magical crime caper romp.
Very fun book to read!
Easy reading simple plot, light reading
Clever book about a Witch’s retirement home where things get out of hand quickly and often. So often and so much in the beginning, that it seemed too much. I almost put it down. The slapstick humor started to take on a more balanced pace and I began to enjoy the journey. A pleasant book overall. Cute resolved ending.

A enjoyable cozy read. Easy and funny.
It was a fun romp the evil character is not what/whom you think.
Interesting effort at a supernatural story complete with ancient high school rivalry. Overall the impression left was a shallow effort at fantasy but an easy read.
This crime/prank novel is a wonderful Summer read. Zoey Rivers, Manager and witch at Sunnyside Retired Witches Home, is responsible for the happiness and safety of her guests. But her guests are older retired witches who deal with mayhem and pranks. With her staff and help from her friends Zoey manages to keep thee town of Sunnyside safe from her guests and a Djinn. I recommend this book highly.
Zoey, Steve and the residents find themselves experiencing some creative unexpected situations that have magic written all over them. Zoey’s boyfriend Doug comes to help and diagnosis their problem as a Djini. They recruit some unexpected help but the mystery of who summoned the Djini and how to control his comical antics still remains to be solved.
This is a wonderful, humorous book from the Sunnyside Retired Witches Community series. The situations the Djini creates are both hilarious and dangerous. There is an emotional component to this book as the characters reveal their past, fears and unhappiness. I particularly liked how Zoey and the rest of the staff tried so hard to make the residents happy. It is an easy read and w,ell written. The dialogue is great and the descriptions detailed. Have fun reading this series.
