Quinn Taylor has hated shifters for as long as she can remember. After all, her parents lead the world’s most prominent anti-shifter group. Now they’re taking Quinn to protest marriage rights in Cascadia, the shifter state.Julius Bloom is grizzly shifter and lawyer, mated to the sexy mechanic Hudson Trager. For months Julius has been at the helm of the trial that will determine whether triad … determine whether triad marriage is legal – not that the two men have had time to find a woman to complete their own triad.
The morning of the trial is the worst possible time to find the perfect woman – one they can’t resist. Of course, the curvy, gorgeous brunette happens to also be holding an anti-shifter sign outside the courthouse.
When they lock eyes, Julius feels something stir deep within, just as gunshots ring out. He doesn’t think twice. He’ll protect her at any price.
Quinn feels inescapably drawn to the two sexy, dangerous shifters, despite everything she’s been taught. When she overhears a plot by her parents to assassinate Julius, she’ll do whatever it takes to stop it.
Will it be enough, or were Quinn, Julius, and Hudson never fated to be together?
A Bear’s Nemesis is a red-hot, thrilling romance with two men who can’t resist each other, fated mates who risk everything, and tons of spice!

Part of a Series: Yes – Book 2 of the Shifter Country Bears – It’s not necessary to read Book 1 A Bear’s Protection first but if you do then you get to see Ash, Hunter, and Cora again which is fun

5/5
A Bear’s Nemesis was a fast read with a great message. Quinn was raised in a family full of prejudice, bias and misunderstanding toward shifters. As she gets to know Julius and Hudson and they openly answer her questions, her bias fades. This is a fantastic outlook that more people need to know/remember. But the message is subtle, with no preachiness. I cannot wait to read more of this series.
I received an advanced copy of this book for free from the author. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I wasn’t sure how this book would go but I loved the positivity and the growth of the characters. In our current climate, the message and hope are uplifting. Plus, learning more about this shifter world is hot!

** spoiler alert ** All her life, Quinn was told the shifters were evil and that they should be locked up away from humans. Julius and Hudson long for the woman to complete their triad, but know that its possible that it will not happen. Will Quinn accept that everything she was told is a lie? Will Julius and Hudson be able to be complete?
Loved how this is technically an enemies-lovers romance. I didn’t blame Quinn for how she was raised, but was so proud when she stood up for herself and both of the men. I loved how Julius and Hudson balanced each other out and were willing to take the chance to prove to Quinn that they weren’t what she thought. Great read!
This is the second book in the Shifter Country Bears series and it’s just as good but a little bit deeper. Julius is an attorney trying to get equal marriage rights for triad shifters. Hudson is his mechanic mate. Both are happy together but seeing his cousin find the third has left him feeling empty. Hudson feels his sadness but knows that for some couples it never happens. Well these two are in for a big surprise when a group of protesters show up at the courthouse and one of them happens to be their mate! Quinn never planned to be a anti-shifter protester but her parents run her life and they are obsessed with shifter hatred. She sees these two handsome men and feels something but how are they ever going to find common ground? Well you’re going to have to read A Bear’s Nemesis to find out! It’s written from multiple POV and it’s a steamy shifter menage book that I recommend to fans of that genre.
Another wonderful shifter manege. This story is about Julius, a lawyer, who’s job it us to is fight legal ramifications and process of triads getting married. Hudson, is his mate who supports his love. Both agree something is missing in their relationship and when they see Quinn, they know. Quinn is from a strict family and is protesting against triads, little does she know her entire world is about to change.
I loved this story as it is so full of both heart and action. Heat and passion, this story is fantastic from the beginning. A favorite series of mine, this is highly recommend by me. It is a standalone and on the shorter side, but it is complete and statsifying. received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
This is a very good read and an excellent addition to this series. I loved the attraction and chemistry between Julius, Hudson and Quinn. A well written, complex and emotional storyline captures and keeps your interest throughout the book. A beautiful and steamy MMF ménage romance.
Prejudice is taught by your parents. That is the lesson of this story. But when you get older and have the chance to open your mind and see different ways of thinking, you just might change. And you might find your true love.
Quinn is in a bad place. Her parents HATE shifters. So they are in the shifter town trying to stop shifter marriages. But she never knew just how far they would go to make it stop.
Julius is the lawyer trying to get triad marriages through the legal system. He and his partner Hunter are still looking for their third but he wants the others to be able to get married. So when a gun goes off and he jumps out to help a woman out in the crowd he never thought she could be their other mate.
I enjoyed this story very much. Watching someone learn that living one way is not always the right way is heartwarming. Especially in this day and age.
Quinn, Julius and Hudson Darcy/Bennet-esque with a delightfully plus one! When you spend your you life sheltered your only influences and teaches are one sided it’s can shrink your world view. Quinn quickly learned that everything she thought was gospel at the behest or her parents was woefully misleading once she saw the true story in person. Seeing real shifters and coming to realize that they were just everyday average people that want the same things that everyone else want and deserve she couldn’t help but question everything she had ever been taught. Julius and Hudson know that you can’t always control who is going to fill out your triad, but when their bears’ both stand up and take wholehearted notice of Quinn they are floored. They should stay far away from her. Her parents are hate mongers in the truest sense and she is just beginning to see the error of their ways. But fate and love don’t always take a backseat to the brain.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
A Bear’s Nemesis is another well written novella. The author does a good job writing about some serious topics. I really enjoyed reading Julius, Hudson and Quinn’s story. It was filled with lots of emotion and was the perfect combination of steamy and sweet.
This is another great quick read – perfect for an afternoon at the beach (or pool or lake or…) For me, it was a great read for an afternoon spent on the couch in the air conditioned living room with the fan blowing full blast. Yes, it’s a hot summer, but this book brings the heat too! It’s a steamy story, but also has more to it than that. In this 2nd book in the series we get to see Julius’ and Hudson’s (characters introduced in Book 1) happily ever after. Although this is book 2, it is a stand alone and isn’t necessary to read them in order although I would recommend doing so to avoid spoilers.
This story was amazing! In this story Attorney Julius Bloom, Bear Shifter, is handling the case to get Shifter Triad Marriages legalized before the courts. There are those people that protest the shifters and their lifestyle. Barbra and Arthur Taylor are two of the leaders of the protesters. They own a website ShifterSexManiacs.com run by their daughter Quinn Taylor. Quinn doesn’t run the website by choice or shifters don’t disgust her. She has been under her parents influence and bad choices for to long. …. We meet Hudson Trager Julius’s mate again. Julius and Hudson are looking for their female mate. Officer Ash, Hunter and Cora make an appearance. Looking forward to the next book! I voluntarily reviewed advanced copy of this book.
A Bear’s Nemesis is the second book in the Shifter Country Bears series. And it was also awesome.
Quinn is the daughter of two rabid shifter haters, leading the most prominent anti-shifter group. And naturally, only hearing how awful shifters are her entire life, that is what she believes. Until she is saved by one – Julius. Julius and his mate Hudson are quickly attacked by Quinn’s family, and she gets to know the mated pair a little more, realising that they’re not all bad.
*A few spoilers ahead.
Now, as much as I did love this story, and I did, it was a bit of a different track from a normal shifter romance, which was awesome, I did have a few issues with it. The relationship between Julius and Hudson wasn’t quite as well established as I would have liked. When there is an m/m pairing in a book, I do like a few more sexy-times than I got. But when the three of them were together it was explosive. I was also a bit unhappy with the ending, it was more of a HFN than a HEA, but hopefully it will be shown a bit further in the next book.
Otherwise, I did really love this, and I can’t wait to read the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Well they do so opposites attract and Quinn is the very opposite in every way to Julius and Hudson their shifters and she is the daughter of some cray cray anti shifters. After things escalate in front of the courthouse Quinn and the guys life come together, however even though the 3 are attracted to each other you are left fearing that her parents who are soo focused on taking out the shifters that even being mates may not be enough. You get to enjoy suspense, thrills, steamy times and the hope that another triad get to be together!
Thanks to Dakota West I am really loving Shifter romances. This 2nd book in the Shifter Country Bears series has everything you could want, drama, suspense, good winning over evil, romance, and, of course, some steaming hot scenes. Julius and Hunter are mates and are looking to complete their triad. Julius is a lawyer trying to obtain marriage rights for all triads. Quinn is on the side of the protesters of triad marriage, mostly because her parents told her so. Hunter is in the crowd supporting Julius and triad marriage. They both feel a strong connection to Quinn as soon as they see her. Could a relationship with her ever work? Could she ever love a shifter, nevermind, two? You are pulled into the story and love the characters from the start. I loved it! This book contains MM, MMF, MFM scenes so beware if that is not your thing.
What if you find out the your mate believes that you are the worst of the worst and goes so far to picket outside your courtroom. This is the dilemma Julius faces when he comes face to face with the woman who could complete his family. Instantly he and his mate Hudson know she is theirs but they just have to prove that they are not the monsters she was led to believe.
Quinn meets these two men at a demonstration and is instantly drawn to them. She is confused most of the book because she has been taught that these shifters are everything that is wrong in the world. She begins to question everything she was taught and where she stands in all of this.
This book was very enjoyable to read. It’s about a woman deciding for herself what she beleives and who she wants to be with.
Quinn’s parents are anti-shifter activists, and when one of their followers tries to assassinate a shifter, Quinn is horrified. Julius is an attorney representing shifter triads right to marry, Hudson is his mate. The last woman the bear shifters, Julius an Hudson, expect to complete their triad is Quinn, the daughter of the rabid anti-shifter activists.
Sexy and hot multiple shifter romance with some excitement, and interesting interesting twists in the plot. Fantastic book.
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this book.
I love this series! It’s steamy, it’s sweet, it definitely keeps you on your toes, and the characters are amazing. Quinn being raised to hate those that are different has her eyes opened when she spends time in the shifter state. I love how I could feel how confused and unsure she was. I love her growth. Julius and Hudson are so connected. It’s a great read!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the second book in the Shifter Country Bears series. The story continues with Julius (Hunter’s cousin) who is a lawyer and his mate Hudson. They are fighting for the rights for the shifter triad marriages. As Julius is heading towards the courthouse he spots Quinn, their missing female mate, and the daughter of the leaders of the anti-shifter movement. When shots are fired he protects Quinn and this leads into her introduction to two bear shifters & their love. When Quinn is finally exposed to actual shifters she realizes that they are basically normal people. When she accidentally overhears her parents planning an assassination attempt against Julius and Hudson, she goes to the police.
The tension in not knowing what would happen regarding the hate group was good.
I really enjoyed the story, It has, suspense, drama, and love. I strongly recommend this book and am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my freely given review.
