Sometimes you need to lose the small battles in order to win the war, but love can be a battle worth winning even if the war is beyond reach.AndreiTrust takes years to build, seconds to break and forever to rebuild. Thanks to my father and brother, the Lazhov family has lost the trust of its people, my people. The summit is the last chance to save all the tribes of Sirisse and protect the omega … Sirisse and protect the omega princes from the imminent threat of the Raksha.
It’s true, I don’t play well with others but it depends who it is and what they want to play. From the moment the little omega bear walked into my office offering sex in return for my protection I was on the back foot, and the game was on.
Brendan
With war on the horizon, I came to the summit to win myself an alpha dragon to protect me. I don’t believe in fated mates but I’m happy for the dragon prince to try and change my mind. I just never believed it could become reality.
As the fight for the Midsummer Moon Hotel rages, Brendan and Andrei engage in a battle of their own. Who will win? If the Gods allow maybe there can be more than one winner…

Epic! Interesting ending to a great series. This is Andrei and Brendan’s story. I liked this couple the most. Andrei Lazhov knew his family lost the trust of the people. Brendan Bowen was looking for a dragon to protect him. Brendan didn’t believe in fated mates in principle, but he was open to an Alpha changing his mind. Brendan, is the youngest after Anselm and Godrick. I liked Andrei and Brendan as individuals and as a couple. Showing the same events from different perspective was an interesting strategy. I kept getting lost with the who, how and when. This story opened quite a few doors through which we were not taken. The doors looked absolutely interesting. I didn’t understand the final solution, but okay. Nice series. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
The journey continues between the dragon, wolf, bear and stag shifters of Sarisse. The tiger shifters of Raksha are on their way to attack the shifters of Sarisse. Andrei head of the dragon shifters call an emergency meeting to figure out what to do. The shifters don’t know who they can trust or who will betray them to the shifters of Raksha. I enjoyed this book.
This is the fifth book of the “Midsummer Moon” Series , where young shifter princes are coming together to deliberate about the future of their country and find their mates in the face of an attacking army and betrayal in the family.
All books tell more or less the same story from different angles – so if you already are familiar with the series – you have an idea what is happening, just not what exactly happened to the two heroes of each book.
This book is about the king, Andrei, and his mate – the youngest of the bear princes. They do not seem to fit together, but what began as a strategic move turned into deep caring on both sides.
Well-written and entertaining – if you do not mind for the story line to be already being known.

A Bear’s High Prince is the fifth book in the Midsummer Moon series by Noah Harris. This is the love story between Andrei and Brendan and the last book in this series. I loved these characters together. The story was great – adventure, drama, steam and love. A great conclusion to the series.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
I will admit that I absolutely enjoyed reading this fascinating MM/Mpreg shifter romance & this is the fifth book in the series “Midsummer Moon” which is set in a complex mystical world where different kingdoms of various kinds of shifters rule the world. The story-line is interesting and well-written with intriguing plot & splendid background details. The characters are well-developed and interesting with unique personalities and have attributes of loyalty & determination when faced with certain situations.
There is: a omega bear (Brendan Bowen) attends a summit meeting with the intention of looking for a dragon protector & comes into contact with a dragon prince (Andrei Lazhov), various kinds of shifters, fated mates, twists & turns, intrigue, secrets, adventure, action, danger, threats, enemies, assassins, deceit, betrayal, violence, treason, attractions, propositions, compromises, memories, defiance, misunderstandings, verbal conflict, vulnerability, mischievousness, playfulness, confrontations, invasion, vengeful feelings, battles/war, voluntary abdication, love, fated mates, some steam & a very interesting epilogue.

Andrei & Brendan
Sheesha Meesha! Shifters are as snobbish and prejudicial as mundane humans. Not wanting to “weaken” their bloodlines by mixing outside their “kind” meant mating for convenience, not for fate of love. **sigh… Good thing this war… I mean Summit took place. A little bloodline mixing has been taking place all up in Midsummer Moon Hotel since book one. Ya know, ‘I mean?
Let’s reminisce for a sec, shall we? Don’t fret, keep your thongs crack-free. We will get down to the nitty-gritty in book five after the naughty-knotty leading up to then. A “mixer” re-cap…
Book 1- brainwashing and banging abound for the bad boys, Vaselko and Karston. Karston (Kai) just wants answers to who killed his wolf-shifter parents. Vaselko has him believing the dragons are to blame and and He can have his revenge by joining the evil forces from across the sea (anyone else hear Darth Vader’voice? And heavy breathing? No?!?! Yeah, me neither).
Poor gullible Kai…believing everything a rich hot Dragon boy in tight pants tells you. Didn’t he ever get the fortune cookie that said, “always seek wise counsel before making life decisions for a whole species of people?” Cuz, I swear I get that one at least twice a month!
Because of the events that take place in the series, and the amount of times I wanted to throat punch Kai, or toss him into a pool of hungry piranha, gonna say NO,on the fortune cookie. BUT he did walk away with some nookie from a crazy Dragon ,so SCORE one for Kai! NOT! That was mixing just produced Jim Jones Kool-Aid, and poor Kai not only drank it but learned to make it to serve to his mate later.
Book 2 gave us bloodline mixing with Matthias, wolf shifter and Kai’s twin brother, and Pavel the delightful ball of Dragon/Phoenix Sunshine! I loved how Pavel helped Matthias find his family jewels were right where they were supposed to be. Because of this, he learned how to take charge and stop letting Kai use and control him.
Book 3 Showed that even bad boys can find their fated mates and fall in love. The traitor, Kai is sort of on The fence with just who is right and who is wrong.
He works to explain his plight to his mate Godric, a bear shifter. Because fate has born this connection, Godric is seeing his mate through love’s rose colored glasses. There are times I feel bad for Kai, but more often than not, I just wanna smack him for being dumb.
Book 4 is my favorite in the series. I think the stags get a bum rap going into the summit. However, bear shifter, Anselm finds he cannot stop staring, or wanting to talk with the beautiful stag Prince, Gideon.
There was just something about Anselm and Gideon that made my heart beat just a little faster for them. And then, when they were asked to take up the cross and bear the weight of Sarisse, by Andrei, I could not think of a better power couple to lead the Foresters on the path to peace.
Now, Book 5! With a drum roll, and in the famous words of “Old Blue Eyes,” my review begins…
And now, the end is near (Matthias & Pavel)
And so We face the final curtain (Anselm & Gideon)
My friends, He’ll say it clear (Brendan)
I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain (Andrei)
I’ve lived a life that’s full (Veselko)
We’ve traveled each and every highway (Kai & Godric)
But more, much more than this
We did it… Ourrrrr Wayyyyyy (everyone)
Go ahead, judge all you want. As an old chick, there are few things I love in life. A good story, is at the top of that list. Especially one filled with adventure, mystery, shifters, sMMexy goodness, and an end that leaves you feeling satisfied, but also hopeful that maybe someday you will see and visit this world and these people again. **hint…hint… Sir Noah!
Now then, on to the review… Finally! Yes, yes I know! Patience, darlings patience. In book 5 you finally get to see and understand why the High Dragon Prince kept leaving the room for that little side door tucked away off the main room. I know for me, in the first book I thought he was up to no good, but then as our adventure progressed I began to suspect perhaps he had a secret war room or something. Let’s just say, it had less to do with James Bond like tendencies and leaned more on the Freudian end of the spectrum. **sigh…
Now on to adorable feisty Brendan. He was awesome and never gave an inch when it came to morality and what was right. No matter who opposed his values he would stand toe to toe against them.I
Andrei carried a heavy burden as High Prince and the coming King. His struggles and inner turmoil were made worse by his father and brother’s traitorous actions. Thankfully, fate granted him the perfect partner. The fierce bear omega to compliment his strong alpha dragon.
I know the fated-mates trope catches a lot of flack, but it worked beautifully in this story, because in a small way, it was what tore apart the country to begin with. When people stopped mating for Love outside their breed and bloodlines, because of prejudice and pride. In the end however, blurring the lines just might save them all. IF the rest of Sarisse follows in the steps of its new leadership.
This was so much fun to read! I also wanted to add the genius behind writing this type of story. Each of these books is good in Dual POV. While that may not seem quite geniusy (ok- so I made a new word, deal! ), what is, is the fact, beyond book #1, which is actually a prequel, the events in the remaining books happen simultaneously. So, when you are reading an event in book three you remember from book two, you are experiencing it again, BUT the experience is completely new and different because it is happening to a new character or character couple. I absoflogginlutely LOVE that!
Noah Harris won my heart and devotion with this series! If you give this series a chance, I believe you will be won too!
