What happens when a shy, sheltered virgin wakes up married to the unattainable man of her dreams? It looks like I’m about to find out.Every other woman I know would be over-the-moon to wake up married to Dr. Eric Carter.I’m not saying he’s not tempting, because he definitely is, but I just wish I could remember how it happened. Now the guy who famously doesn’t commit, is trying to convince me to … commit, is trying to convince me to play house with him.
It turns out our surprise marriage has resulted in some unforeseen career benefits.
If we can just keep it together, we’ll both make out like bandits.
The trouble is, I’d rather just make out with Eric.
I bet he could teach a good girl like me a thing or two.
All I have to do is keep up this massive lie in front of all my friends and coworkers, prevent my very conservative mother from learning the truth, and stop myself from falling in love for real and getting my heart broken.
Who ever said love was easy?
A Bad Case of You is a full-length, second-chance romance featuring a bold alpha hero and his sweet and sexy heroine. It can be read as a standalone or as part of a series.

A fantastic, heartwarming story of a secret love between co-workers. Faith and Eric have so much chemistry and have secretly been in love with each other for a while, but neither have the guts to say anything. This was a great well written story about wishing things could be different and have a happily ever after until things change for the better and wishes become reality. Eric and Faith must face heartbreak, doubts, and insecurities in order to find the happiness they both deserve. A Bad Case of You was filled with heartbreak, dreams coming true, laughter, flirtatious banter, passion, doubts, and love. A wonderful story with great characters. A captivating new book that readers won’t want to put down.

Faith is a nurse at St. Vincent. Dr. Eric Carter is a cardio doctor. There is an attraction between these two but neither can act on it in fear of losing their jobs. Both attend a New Years eve party. When they wake up the next morning in bed naked, Faith panics and leaves. Eric has no idea what happened the night before but then finds out they were married. So when their boss finds out, he is pleased they are married, he promotes them. Since this benefits them and they don’t want to ruin their reputations, they decide to continue this fake marriage. But how long will they stay married? Faith wants the whole happy ever after with the picket fence. Eric didn’t ever want to be married period. But these two have an attraction that can’t be stopped. Can they come to terms or will they call it quits?

This is an exceptional read that will draw you in from beginning to end! It is well written, fast pace, funny, witty, moves at a brisk pace, and is very enjoyable. The characters are broken and the chemistry between them is blazing hot. I loved watching their story unfold and the ups and downs make for a wonderful story. The surprise appearance of Ward and Emma from book one of the “Lone Star Lovers” series is very refreshing and welcomed. This is a very interesting and engaging read that I highly recommend reading.

A wonderful heartwarming well written story. This storyline was smooth flowing, interesting, breathtaking, humorous, with twists and turns showing that love will conquer all. The characters were well developed, realistic and had amazing chemistry. An truly entertaining refreshing twist with great some sizzling steamy scenes, kepping me addicted till last page turned.

This book was such a refreshing twist on the whole fake marriage craze that is spreading like wildfire through romance books right now.
The characters were great, including the supporting characters and the attraction between Eric and Faith was believable. There was a strong pull between them physically, but they also enjoyed talking, joking and teasing each other. They just had genuine chemistry all around.
This story was filled with heart! I even shed some tears towards the end, which was completely unexpected, but I was so invested in Eric and Faith, I couldn’t handle this particular twist when it happened.
Now, there were also some very steamy sexy times in the book too, but they slammed on the brakes after their “wedding night” in an attempt to keep feelings out of this arrangement. With each of them crushing on the other secretly for the past year though, feelings were already all in and having to spend time together as a ‘married couple’ just helped their connection and their feelings grow stronger.
The giant fly in the ointment however is that Eric never, I mean absolutely never, wants to get married or have a family, which is the exact opposite of the white picket fence future that Faith dreams of. So even if these two can manage to fool everyone around the into believing that they’re husband and wife, there’s no way Faith can convince Eric to give it a chance for real. Cue the twist and the tears!
Absolutely loved this book. It’s the best one I’ve read in a while and my favourite from this author so far! 🙂
These two have had a chemistry since they met, but neither have pursued that bond until a drunken night led them to make some rash decisions in their lives. They go along with what they’ve done to keep the promotions they were given, but end up getting closer as the time goes on. Their love is a slow burn that sneaks up and grabs them both, and neither want to admit it. I loved this story and cannot wait for more from Taylor.

So good! Take one Dr and one nurse who have been avoiding the attraction between them for a year and add in champagne and New Years Eve and what do you get? You get a newly married couple with only a vague memory of what happened! Not only that, they both got promotions in honor of their marriage! This is a sassy, funny, sweet tale of second chances, understanding and love…it’s just fabulous!
Faith is a nurse and Eric a doctor at the same hospital. They are both attracted to each other but Faith doesn’t want to become one of the nurses talked about for sleeping with a doctor. However when everyone is together for a party and the drinks are flowing it doesn’t take anything to get her to be with Eric. The next morning they wake but don’t remember much about what happened the night before until they are called into their boss’s office. It seems they got married and because of that they were being promoted because they make a great team professionally and personally. Will they play along to get the promotions? Can they make their relationship work?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and verye ntertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

She never expected that she would wake up a married woman. In fact she doesn’t remember anything about the night and how it happened. I loved this story with its quirky characters. The story is filled with drama and guaranteed to entertain you from the very first page. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Really smitten with this storyline.
A Bad Case of You, by author Taylor Holloway, was a wonderful modern day love story that takes place in Austin, TX within the confines of the medical community of a fictional St Vincent’s Hospital. Resident Eric and Nurse Faith wake up together after a New Year’s Eve Party and are soon surprised by what went on at that party when they are told by the CMO and the Bishop. From then on it’s misunderstandings, assumptions, that are thrown at the couple for the next three months, not to mention more surprises, that keep this storyline popping.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace.
Yet another great story by Taylor Holloway. A great storyline and wonderful characters. Filled with emotions.

Taylor Holloway helped turn something I HATE into something I LOVE. Never have I ever enjoyed reading medical romance. Can’t even watch a medical drama on TV. Oversexed, dramatization is not entertaining. It’s just sad. With A Bad Case of You, Holloway delivers what most medical stories are missing. She packs it with heart. Her characters tempt with witty dialogue and heartbreaking emotion that remind us there’s a human element beyond the science. Far from perfect, but these characters hit you where it counts. THE HEART.
Eric is a resident doctor where Faith is a nurse in the same hospital. Eric has been crushing on Faith for a year. One drunken night and no memory of it faith wakes up in Eric’s bed. The next day at work their boss calls them in to congratulate them on their nuptials and gives them a promotion. They decide to pretend to be a real married couple. What could go wrong right?

Imagine waking up and find that you’re married to a gorgeous doctor and can’t remember a thing. For job protection they agree to go along with a fake marriage for several months. Plenty of drama and suspense as they try to fool family and friends. Cute characters and an entertaining story that was fun to read. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review. It’s always nice when fake becomes real.
I really enjoyed this story it has a little bit of everything in it. It is well written and a good storyline. This story had enjoyable characters and I look forward to reading more stories from this author.

This is the first story in Ms. Holloway’s “Soulmates of St. Vincent” series. If the rest of the series is as wonderful as this read, we are in for a real treat. This story deals with an “accidental” marriage to a doctor. The characters are likable and easy to relate to. The overall story-line “flows” and is well written. With each new book Ms. Holloway continues to “come in to her own” as a writer.
