This is the real life story of how I lost 100 lbs, in 100 days. It has been over a decade now. And I am finally ready to write this book on this experience in my life. Are you read for it?I hope you are, because the information inside of this book is as real as it gets. At one time in my life, I had let my weight get up to 320 lbs. Yes, that is more than most bathroom scales can count to.Inside … that is more than most bathroom scales can count to.
Inside of this book i talk about how, and why I decided to turn my life around for the better, and lose an enormous amount of weight, in a relatively short period of time.
I want to share this time in my life with you.
The reason that I finally decided to write this book, is because I really feel that it can benefit so many people. And not just people who are trying to lose weight.
But all people who have struggles in life.
We all have them.
This is just one of my personal struggles that I went through in life, over a decade ago. And I am proud to have left it where it belongs. In the rear view mirror of my life.
I won.
And I want my victory to motivate you to defeat you’re own struggles, whatever they may be.
I appreciate you joining me on this journey. And I will see you on the inside.

This memoir didn’t give me what I was looking for but it may be useful to someone else. It is an interesting read for those starting their journey – it shows his personal thoughts about his weight at different points in his life. I appreciated the author’s candor and vulnerability. He gives advice to his heavier self about topics like nutrition and alcohol. There are some typos in the ARC and plenty of links to the author’s other resources.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is one man telling the world what he did and what worked for him. This book offers advice and information, but it’s up to the individual what they take from it and of course what works well for one person may not work as well for someone else. It’s an interesting book to read, I’m a firm believer that you can’t have too much info and there are some things I’ve taken from this book to use in my own life.

Not Quite What I Thought It Would Be…
A book with a title like this certainly piques your interest, especially if you have weight to lose. While, of course, we understand that what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another, the author has certainly made a bold statement. After all, if one is serious about weight loss and has a lot of weight to lose, the goal is typically to lose between 1 to 2 pounds per week.
Unfortunately, I felt like the author strayed from the promise of the book. The first half of the book (nearly) reads more like a memoir that only peripherally has to do with the “how” of his weight loss. It feels like more of a look at his life and where he was at the time. He does get to the “how,” eventually. The book felt so scattered at times that I would have appreciated a single page with his core message. The “how” part, though not terribly detailed, was interesting and reflected what I read in one of his other books about what he calls the healthiest diet on Earth. By the way, the last 20 pages of the book are back matter, with calls to action and information about his other books.
In another unfortunate circumstance, the book is in dire need of a good editor, both at the content level and the sentence level. There are many dependent clauses not attached to their independent clause, sometimes creating a lack of clarity. Other sentences just make little sense. Punctuation and grammar are sometimes sketchy in other places as well. I did receive an ARC copy of the book, but I did check out the Look Inside at Amazon. These issues persist in the published book. A content-level editor could have helped with keeping the book on topic, as I do feel that the book got severely derailed. Or perhaps the author could have called it something different or given it a subtitle to help them more accurately reflect the book’s contents. Because of some of these issues, the book is at times hard to parse, though it is a worthwhile read if weight loss and fitness (as he does go into that as well) interest you.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
