An Ambassador trying to hold peace… out and the safety of humans is threatened, the odd, horned beast might just be the only man she can count on…
But with how her body reacts in his presence, can she trust herself with him…?
A beast thirsting for war…
Arez has waited for this day his whole existence. Ever since he was created in that damned lab by the scaly Krezlians, he’s wanted nothing more than to destroy them. But just when he can taste the war on his lips, he gets thrown together with a peace-loving human female who makes his body hard and his blood boil for an altogether different reason. He’s never wanted anything more in his life – except maybe for revenge – and he soon realizes that he must make a choice.
Revenge… or her?
Fate of the Beast is the second book in the Mate of the Beast series, but it can be read as a standalone. Complete with a HEA and no cliffhangers. This book is intended for mature audiences only.

A little adventure, a little romance, and some sexy times made this a fun read. The main characters are likable and I like them together. There is a side character, a friend of the hero, that I really hope gets his own story. Enjoy!
***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***

She is an ambassador on an alien planet. He is a fighter. This is so exciting, enjoyable, surprising, emotional and so much more. I couldn’t put it down. The characters mesh so well together. Well written. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
My first book by this author and I enjoyed reading it. A great storyline with a strong willed heroine and the requisite hunky alien lover. Perfect for the sci-fi romance lover…like me!

Exciting and nerve racking. It all goes into the battle and the turmoil after. There is so much in the telling. It ratchet up the blood pressure and edge of the seat while you want to get in there and help. The experiments are something else too. Darn good story, I love it. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
The title of this book is sort of a misnomer. I say “sort of” because in all theory, the Ezak-X “beast” was created using the DNA of several different species, including human and beast as well as alien. What turned out is a killing machine cum bodyguard and Casanova. There’s an alien species out to study the attraction of the Ezak-X species they originally created in a lab with humans. They have found that the pheromones of humans appear to attract the Ezak-X and it is possible to breed. This was found in book 1 of the series “Mate of the Beast”. There are references in this book to the characters from book 1, but it is possible to read this one as a standalone with no problem.
The Ezrak-X doesn’t come across as being very beastly at all. He’s protective, loving and smart, not to mention hot alien! Yes, he has some not-so-human traits like horns and his odd skin color, but he has great hair and is very tall. ./sigh The match-up here with the human Ambassador for the Humans to the Alliance is insta-attraction (go pheromones!) and the sparks also fly with some misunderstandings and general rubbing each other the wrong way. This becomes rubbing each other the right way and they’re off! Many times, as a matter of fact.
The action is great. The story has several different locations, each with their own feel, and Sonia Nova has done a great job of describing them all. There are battles that threaten life on a moon, a traitor who threaten lives on a planet, and a species who threatens everything that it can. Characters are frightened, turned on, angry, irritated and confused. It’s all of these different places and faces that make this author’s writing shine.
