Juno Beck is trying to step out from the long shadow of her father and make her place in the music industry. But this bear shifter’s days are numbered and she’s running out of time to make her mark on the world. When she stops for a day trip to visit an old friend, she discovers the hiding place of one of country music’s bad-boys-who-got-away. But everything she thought she knew about Rhett … Copeland from interviews is wrong, and he’s hiding a mountain of secrets. And as she struggles with the decision to do what’s right or what’s necessary, she begins discovering who she really is, and what she really stands for. And that singer she’s crushed on for all these years, is about to show her how it really is to live.
Rhett Copeland threw away his destiny. The white lion shifter left his Pride to become a touring musician, but something important has sent him into hiding in a last-chance Crew of lumberjacks. His accounts are frozen, his muse is crippled, his fans are on the hunt for him, and his new Rogue Pride Crew gets on his nerves at every turn. All he wants to do is stay hidden, avoid as much logging work as possible, and pester his new Crew, but Juno Beck is going to expose him and all of his secrets to the public if he isn’t careful. Too bad she’s too interesting for her own good because his songwriting muse only wakes up around her, and now he can’t leave the mesmerizing stranger alone. But the more he lets Juno in, the more she threatens the life he’s carved out here in the wilderness of Rogue Pride territory.
He has nothing but time, and she barely has any days left. He has lost his passion for the music, while she’s more driven than ever to make her mark on the industry. Lions and mole rats and bears, oh my! Two worlds collide in T. S. Joyce’s second installment of the Daughters of Beasts series.
Content Warning: Explicit love scenes, naughty language, and piles of sexy shifter secrets. Intended for mature audiences.

When you read a book that rips emotions and feelings from your very depths, you can only praise it for setting you free to feel! T has a way of doing that with every book she writes!
Juno and Rhett are two characters that are lost and only with each can they find when they may not have even known they needed.
I laughed and cried and felt so deeply for the reading of new characters and the reunion of old ones! When an author feels so strongly about what she writes in comes through and pulls those emotions out the reader!
T writes with love and passion and her readers feel love and passion for her words and herself!
Each story in this series gets better and better. This author is becoming a must
read for me. If you like shifters these are the books for you.
For adult readers
Juno is the daughter of Brighton Beck and even though Juno isn’t a singer like her dad and uncle Denny, she is still in the music biz. Juno wanted produce music that makes people, but her bosses sign bands they want, not who Juno advises. Juno is taking a day off to visit her bestie, Remi Novak.
I like getting to hear Rhett’s story. I love the humor thrown in these stories. These characters are half animal, so there is violence, but there is also camaraderie. I love how some of the original Damon’s Mountains characters make a cameo appearance.
Well written, well edited, great story, wonderful characters. RECOMMENDED
I love these stories. The “sons” as well as the daughters. I have read every one of the books about the crews, their mate finding, and the mountains. Loved all of them!
** spoiler alert ** Juno Beck is struggling to make a name for herself outside of her dad and uncle’s legacy. Rhett left his pride determined to be someone else. They both need each other, but there is a time limit. Will Rhett find his muse again? Will Juno find her cure?
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book! Just like every other TS Joyce book, I was excited to read this one and it didn’t disappoint. I loved how Juno was determined to make a name for herself outside of her family and I didn’t blame her for being scared, but was proud that she decided to take a chance. I loved Rhett’s dedication to those he loved and how even if he wanted to show he didn’t he cared about those around him. Excellent read and another great addition to this author!
After reading the first book in the “Daughters of Beasts” series I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Rhett and his story but I love him! He had depth and heart. Juno’s character is lovable and relatable. T.S. Joyce’s books are my guilty pleasure. Every month I look forward to release day and then I devour her stories. I enjoyed Kamp and Remi’s story and the set up Joyce created as the first book in the series but this story hit the mark for me.
Juno and Rhett were great together. I wish the book was longer.
As always another great book. Juno leaves home to make a name for herself away from her dad and uncle. But she makes a trip to see her friend thinking she doesn’t have long to live. Remi, her friend, welcomes her with open arms and she meets Rhett who disappeared from the circuit for personal reasons. There’s alot going on in this book, sadness, heartache, love and hope for a new beginning.
