‘Fallen Academy: Year Two’ is book two in Leia Stone’s Fallen Academy series.
Bri’s first year at the academy had been an eye opener. She found out she was Angel Blessed, a Celestial with black wings, she has magical gifts from four Archangels and one evil sob Lucifer, her infinity weapon is a Seraph Blade that talks. Its enough to make anyone feel like they were crazy. Now it’s her second year at Fallen Academy and she is now part of the Fallen Army after her and her team, Shea, Luke and Chloe defeated the Gauntlet. With the fear of Lucifer still being after her, the war between Angels and Demons still raging and needing to get her mum from Demon City, Bri must train harder if there is any chance of her succeeding.
I knew it, I knew it, I just KNEW this series was going to be kicka** and absolutely awesome. Two books into the series and I am so in love and utterly and truly invested in Bri and Lincoln’s lives.
I honestly can’t praise this book enough, I was gluttonous when reading it. I absorbed each and every word, totally hooked from start to finish. I stopped for a short moment when I had to be an adult and cook dinner for the family. I told them to make noodles and they were disgusted with the idea .
These characters have all come a long way in these two years, although they are training and learning its great to see that mistakes are still being made.
Bri and Sera’s relationship is so freaking hilarious, they work so well together and are just a perfect team.
Bri and Lincoln’s relationship has grown and flourished into something wonderful and beautiful. They are opposites but they balance each other out.
Bri and Shea won’t more can a girl ask for in a bf/sister, the undying loyalty and trust in each other is what unconditional love is all about. These two along with Sera had me in constant giggles.
A spectacular read with some shocking and devastating moments but with beautiful and gorgeous scenes to balance this story perfectly. Although that ending may have broken my heart a bit. I can’t wait to dig into book three.
5 stars for Fallen Academy Year 2 by Leia Stone. This is book 2 in the Fallen Academy Series. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left us. I am loving this series and all the suspense. The side characters ,are elevating this story to a whole new level, who can forget Sera. Brielle is training, falling for Lincoln and learning what fate may have in store for her. Shea and Brielle are trying to win Fight Night at Tainted Academy to save their mom. “But now…. Now I had hope, which that was good and dangerous thing. Hope could let you down, but it could redeem you.” This series is building up to something epic. I can feel it coming. I am enjoying and loving how Brielle and Lincoln’s relationship is developing. Holy Cliffhanger though, so be ready for it. I am starting book 3 now.
Truly loving this series completely, it’s amazing. I can’t wait to read the next book. It’s consumed me, don’t sleep to keep reading it.
Just when the story is at it’s peek, the ‘grabtheedgeofyourseatandholdtightwhileholdingyourbreath’ moment, and BAM! Portal closed!
This book was so much better than the first! So much action and story to deal with. Worth every second it took to read.
Bri really had it rough in this book and it seems it will only get even tougher from now on. Lincoln is, ugh, he is going to suffer from this!
I need the next book asap!
Book one captivated me, and book 2 kept me engaged to the end and needing more. Halfway through Year One, I knew I was hooked and would need to binge read the series which is exactly what I’m doing. Brielle’s second year is a lot more tumultuous and different in the sense that it turns more military in nature instead of collegiate. It’s refreshing to see the relationship between Bri and Lincoln blossom. I love how Bri really embraces her core values and fights for those who can’t fight for themselves. It really helps her grow in her character and made me fall in love with her more than I already was. Her supporting characters are amazing as well and help continue to build this world and series. My complaint of this book is the massive cliffhanger at the end. I was already going to binge read the series, but there was no way in Hell I could have stopped after that ending (book pun intended). I really can’t wait to see what the rest of the series holds.
I truly liked this book and the introduction to a world of good and evil. I have not read another book that has touched on a dianamic that this series has. I can not wait for the rest of the series to be available to continue the story.
Fast paced and incredible, this book (and series) contains everything there is to love about NA urban fantasy romances. With brilliant banter, great action, and smouldering chemistry, what’s not to love about this series!
Superb.
In this second installment, we see more action, more character development and even better understanding of the world since the war. Brielle is advancing her powers and her brother Mikey is coming up to his Awakening ceremony. When she finds a way that she could possibly get her mother free from being a slave, she will risk her life to try.
This book is more action packed than book one, and the romance (clean) between Lincoln and Brielle continues to grow and mature. The one thing that I hated was the crappy ending, even the author apologizes in the notes at the back.
On a whole, this is a great action-packed book and a good addition to the urban fantasy libraries.

I like how with this series or trilligy the progression of the story of each book is a little better than the last. the ending makes you want to know what happens next. cant wait to read book 3
Brielle’s story is just getting better and better. The different prophecies that each side believes in and how Bri factors into them. She has the strength to survive and I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen now especially after that ending. I really like this series so far and I’m excited for Year 3.
Oh my gosh, there are just so many things I really like about this book/series. First off, the characters are all fairly entertaining. You have your FMC, the stereotypical love interest, the best friend, the side crew, and the inevitable mean girl drama.
The action in this book was a bit more involved, which I thought was awesome. I would definitely say this book definitely reads as a YA type book, with all of its overly sugary sweet romance occurrences and academy school structure.
As much as I like the storyline of this book, I just have yet to get really emotionally vested in the characters. For me, this is more of a light read that doesn’t throw me onto an emotional rollercoaster. It’s a little…I don’t want to say shallow because it’s not. It’s just doesn’t seem to have a whole lot of depth to it. I can’t quite explain it right, but hopefully you get the gist.

Wow, that was such a fast paced, heart pounding, scary & fabulous read!!
Brielle & Lincoln are still steaming hot for each other & so in love but to watch him training her, you’d never know it She’s as feisty as ever but she knows he needs to be so hard on her so he’s done everything in his power to arm and protect her for the Fallen War and against Lucifer – If he comes for her again!!
Bri’s brother, Mikey, has his Awakening Ceremony soon but all may not go to plan Their Mum will be left in Demon City alone then though, so with Shea, Bri follows Mikey’s plan & enter a Fight Night Tournament in Demon City! With the $1,000,000 winnings they plan to buy their Mums contract so she’s Free!!
We get our first full look at some of the devastation the War has caused outside of Angel City. It’s like a churning cesspit of degradation & hopelessness from the constant erosion of Evil!! There is real desperation out in ‘Inferno’ as the Fallen Army call this city. The Humans, even the free ones, are almost as desolate as the landscape!
I love how this group of friends/family interact and constantly back each other up, even when they probably shouldn’t!! The snark flows strong within Bri & her group, Sera is possibly the worst (Anyone else have concerns here?? Is something amiss?? *Gulp*) So Archangel Michael huh? Sexy bad boy
So, hold on to your butt for the end of Year 2, it’s EPIC!!! Oh and terrifying
*Edit: anyone else thinking what I was regarding Archangel Michael??
