This was another sweet romance set in Shady Piers. Loved the main characters, Aaron and Pearl. They have a second chance at love after parting many years ago. Will they take that chance? They have both changed a lot since they last saw each other so no telling. Guess you’ll have to read the book to find out.
I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Short and Sweet 2nd chance love. Pearl and Aaron were college sweethearts. 12 years later they reconnect by accident. This was a fun, quick read.
I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Alicia Best, and this is my voluntary and honest review. I loved this book and all the books in this series and look forward to reading the next book. This was a heartwarming second chance romance with no cliffhanger.
Past Present is another great romance from Alicia Best. I think I want to visit Shady Piers. This is an interesting story of second chances. Second chances might not have been necessary if the characters had been more honest in their communication as college was ending. But this way makes for a better story. Pearl is with the wrong man who proposes as she begins to see she needs to break up with him. Aaron is being treated worse than a lackey by a power hungry site manager. Come to Shady Piers to see how this all plays out in this clean romance.
This is a good story line, but didn’t really click with me. The characters don’t feel very well fleshed out, and I just couldn’t get excited about the book. It isn’t a bad book, just not my favorite from this author. (I was given a review copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.)

I loved Pearl and Aaron’s story! From the past, 12 years ago to the present and how they get to today. I received an advance copy of this book
and I voluntarily wrote an honest review
Another good story in this series. Aaron and Pearl dealing with what could of been for them in the past. To what did they want now. Working together on a project, brought them together. Dealing with other issues, she brings us a story that is heartwarming and hoping for them both. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
