So I’ve said from the start of the series that it need to come with a warning and book 4 lives up to that but this time for a different reason. This should come with a free packet of Kleenex for every reader. I loved to hate Meik from the very beginning but in book 4 we get to see the real him and the reason he is how he is. I ended up changing my mind about him big time. He is still a dick but maybe not as bad as I originally thought .
I don’t want to give two much away as book 3 was a cliff hanger and book 4 continues straight from there and it didn’t disappoint. I had it read in a few hours I could not put it down and as much as I loved these guys I think it’s the prefect place for the series to end.
If you have not read this series you need to it’s amazing the writing style and the story it amazing and the heat is off the charts. It’s a definite must from me.
Quin and Perin offer a unique perspective on the erotica and romance genre. It’s a refreshing and powerful change. As with each previous novella, the character development and world building is continually strengthened. This novella did have less steaminess to it than the others, however the emotional intensity couldn’t be better. I do wish this had been longer, but that’s mainly because I don’t want it to be over. I have completely fallen in love with the characters and the story these two gifted authors wove.
5 stars for a captivating conclusion!
