High school is difficult in all walks of life. Even magical people aren’t free from this rite of passage. In this book, Lara, Kat, and Angie return to Willow Woods Academy to begin a new year of school. After a falling out with Kat, Angie sides with a clique of witches who are determined to bring Lara down for her crimes.
Studded with action, angst, drama, and suspense, Willow Woods Academy for Witches and Wizards will definitely keep you on your toes. The classic good versus evil is telling and I can’t wait to see what the authors have in store for book three.
Willow Woods Academy for Witches and Wizards is book two of the series and it was better than the first. You are able to get a sense for the character personalities and are drawn almost immediately into the action of the story. This is a fast paced easy read that hooked me from the beginning. I highly recommend it!
Willow Woods Academy for Witches and Wizards: A Young Adult Fantasy by R. L. Weeks is a wonderful story to read. This is book number two in this wonderful story to raad. I loved this story and I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves magic.

In this second book about Kat, Angie and Lara, more troubles find the girls. Choices are made and magic is used. I loved the evolution of the relationships, good and bad, between the characters. There are so many twists and turns in this story that I couldn’t put it down. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next in this series.

Really awesome series. I don’t like to compare it to Harry Potter because it is really its own story that just happens in a school for witches and wizards but it is as good as an HP book in my opinion. It hooks you right away and kept me engaged throughout the book with awesome characters and fast-paced action. It’s a wonderful read.

WOW! Great story! Another one for my “Read Again” list! Only reason I didn’t give 5 Stars is because I always think there is room for improvement! No spoilers here, so I’ll keep this short! I read books 1 & 2 back to back so my reviews for both are the same! These are great stories that can possibly be read alone, although I would suggest reading them in order as the story is a continuation throughout! Lots of action and teen angst as well as some magical mischief! Nothing too graphic so the story stays PG! I am adding these to my “Read Again List” and planning on getting any others that come out in this series.

What a wonderful and magical Books I have read in a very long time.
I have read many books my R.L. Weeks and this was my first time reading anything by Skylar McKinzie with that saying reading this book I was amazed that I did wasn’t able to distinguish who wrote what line. These two authors together have brought a new series to life.
This book was filled with magic, secrets and amazing journey through the eyes of two friends Katarina and Angelina.
This book was so descriptive I could actually see it in my head as if I was there or I watching a movie.
I think this book is a 5 Star and I believe whoever reads this book will enjoy reading from page one until the end.
Great job ladies
In Willow Woods Academy for Witches, by R.L. Weeks and Skylar Mckinzie, you will find a fun story that reads a bit like Harry Potter. The named school is a high school for witches and wizards. They have had past wars, past friendships and friendship fallouts. When Katherine Ash runs away and enrolls in the school against her parents’ wishes, she finds a lot more than magic in her academic year. Secrets, friendship and the puppy love are all found in this tale and they will enchant you to the last page.
Willow Woods Academy for Witches, by R.L. Weeks and Skylar Mckinzie is a great adventure, mystery and coming of age tale for all readers of magic and even mysteries, all in one. It’s well done, the characters are excellent and the tale is made superb by the way it is told.
I quite enjoyed Willow Woods Academy for Witches, and I believe you will too.
Wonderful book. Has a Harry Potter feel but it’s all it’s own. Well written, couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to read the next in the series.
Welcome back to Willow Woods Academy for Witches and Wizards! Lara, Kat, and Angie are back in this story. Things at school are back to normal, well as normal as things can be for them. The girls are ready for another round of school, but with Lara’s secret being out students are less than receptive. Things between Kat and Angie get pushed and the two friends fall out. What they don’t know is that the situation is being manipulated and that in truth they are stronger together. Angie quickly makes new friends but her new friends aren’t out for what is best for Angie. They intend to use her and let the consequences be what may. When things at the school hit the fan in a bad way, the girls may learn that they have bitten off more than they can chew and that certain secrets quickly come to light.
Willow Woods Academy for Witches and Wizards is book two in the Willow Woods series by R.L. Weeks and Sylar McKinzie. This story is better than the first and a hard to put down story. I couldn’t get enough. It was interesting to read along and watch things between Kat and Angie. They have been friends for so long, but it seems that this thing with Kat’s sister is going to destroy it totally. It’s sad to watch the girls and know that one-minute one wants to fix things, but something or someone gets in the way. The Headmistress is still hiding the true identities of the girls so that they can be accepted by others, but it’s only a matter of time before things fall apart. There are some questions raised, but I’m happy that most of them are answered.
There isn’t much that I don’t like about this book. I love that it is more interesting and engaging than the first book. I would have still liked to have some questions answered that were left unaswered from book one, but I can live with this. This book gets really intense near the end, so buckle up and settle in!
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I truly enjoyed this book and I look forward to the bext one in this series.
If you love Harry Potter and Beautiful Creatures, this series is for you! I loved the realistic magical approach to building the story which is focused on bullying and the strength of the bonds between friends, siblings, and lovers.
Willow Woods Academy for Witches and Wizards is reopening after a horrible incident involving Lara and her then best friend Mona. Now Lara returns with her little sister and her sister’s best friend, Angie, who doesn’t trust Lara. Once at schools factions tear the friends apart while threatening Lara and her sister, bullied by other students, especially by Angie’s new friends.
Can the girls survive their year at Willow Woods? Can their relationships be salvaged?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this! A fast paced book with witches, adventure and fun. You get drawn in on page 1 and don’t come up for air until you read the last word! A must read if you like witches.
A fast paced and exciting story with excellent world building and in depth characters. This is a very tough year for our main characters and I found myself literally yelling at the book about their treatment of each other and by others, Any book that can pull such an emotional and physical reaction from me is definitely a 5 star!!! I am looking forward to continuing this edge of your seat magical journey

I received an ARC of this book from RL Weeks. I liked this story even more than the first one. The book still kind of jumps forward, but it follows more of a timeline than the first book did and I found it easier to read and follow along. I think this is a great story for young readers, but the version I read could use a little more development and editing. The story is intriguing, and you want to find out what happens next. The characters are realistic with their actions and reactions but could use a little more development. This magical world is definitely interesting and enjoyable, and nothing is exactly black and white.
Willow Woods book two Willow Woods Academy For Witches and Wizards is a magical & wickedly delicious YA urban fantasy read. Absolutely stunning! As, the saga continues good VS evil with blurred lines come into play. Brimming with mystery & secrets, a well crafted fantasy with complex intriguing character’s. I can’t wait for book 3.
