Five undercover mercenaries posing as priests.Five deliciously dark temptations to stay away from.Five “Fathers” who’d stain my soul with sin before they’d ever grant me salvation.Arsen, Colt, Weston, Mace, and Hawke. They’re just as dangerous as the men they’re hunting–the very same ones I’m running from.In their arms, I shatter, gasp, succumb to pleasure. In their circle, I’m both protected and … their circle, I’m both protected and claimed.
In their love, I find my escape.
***FIVE FATHERS is a full-length reverse harem novel from debut author Kate Morgan. It includes five sexy priests, one lucky woman, and lots and lots of steamy scenes. This book is naughty, but in the best way possible. Expect a happy ending at the end of the trilogy, but a suspenseful ride on the way there!

Lana’s having a field day with this series
“Come and take a walk on the wild side
Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain
You like your girls insane
Choose your last words, this is the last time
‘Cause you and I, we were born to die.”
Born To Die – Lana Del Rey
What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
THIS IS REVERSE HAREM IN ALL ITS GLORY. Natalia Petrova escapes her mob boss father’s hold. She lands in the hands of five mysterious and dangerous men: Arsen, Colt, Weston, Mace and Hawke. Little does she know that their intentions are more sinful than Natalia assumes.
“You got that medicine I need
Dope, shoot it up, straight to the heart, please
I don’t really wanna know what’s good for me
God’s dead, I said, ‘Baby, that’s alright with me.’”
Gods & Monsters – Lana Del Rey
This was my second CM Stunich read and my first Tate James read. I read this on KU. I had a couple of other titles to choose from and I was like ‘I like the name Stunich. It has a nice ring to it. Duets are always cute. LET’S GO!’ I picked it up on a plane ride and COUGH COUGH it was such a STEAMY page-turner. I LOVED THIS STORY. It was erotic, dark and at times hilarious. So far, whenever I picked up Reverse Harem (I’m new to it), it’s always felt so… light. ALTERED BY FIRE brings the inferno. Wow. Natalia was GLORIOUS. I don’t see myself in her at all, but she was so full of fire, attitude, realness and sex that it was impossible not to love her. She was THAT b****. She’s had it all and then some, but she was always missing something in her life. We get to experience her after a traumatic experience (actually from what I gathered, her entire life up to that was trauma, sex and partying) and in some way, I feel like this first instalment was her trying to get back on her feet and rearrange her life a little bit. If Natalia was a ball of sex and fun, in the moments when she reflected on her future, I felt her fears and I wanted something better for her.
I’m very forgetful and I tend to need lots of time to remember characters names, but here I managed to learn the names early (which doesn’t make me an ideal RH reader LOL). Each guy was twisted, dark and gorgeous in his way. I read Altered By Fire and Altered By Lead back to back, meaning I don’t remember which guys I rooted for most in which instalments. I think I liked Arsen the least in book one. Weston and Colt didn’t really make a memorable impression in book one. Hawke and Mace were my favorites in the first instalment. All in all though, they were all incredible anti-heroes and they had undeniable chemistry (amongst other things) with Natalia Petrova. While I was on my plane ride, I was anxious to finish the book because I hadn’t downloaded book two. I had a fun time with these characters and I didn’t want it to end!
I recommend this read to anyone who loves themselves a steamy and thorough REVERSE HAREM story, an absurdly entertaining Bratva princess and five hot anti-heroes that will make you go broke with their panties-destroying ways.
This book was suggested as I was looking for a new read, and I do not regret picking it up. It is hot. It starts off that way and just carries on the whole way through. There are broken characters in this book, but my one complaint is we didn’t find out a whole lot about them. That said, it’s book 1, and there’s A LOT that goes on in this nook to set the stage. I’m hoping the next book will give us a bit more in the way of character development.
