Bastian had to have been the most handsome man that Katherine had ever met. It really was unfortunate that he was also the most stubborn, controlling, downright infuriating jackass she’d ever known as well. Oh, and there was the fact that he was a werewolf – a werewolf who has bitten her.
Sixteen-year-old Katherine Mayes had never believed in mythological creatures like werewolves or mermaids … or mermaids – certainly not those sparkly vampires that her friend Abby was obsessed with. Even when she’s bitten by a massive animal after a reckless night of teenage adventure and her body begins to change in mystifying ways, she can’t force herself to believe in what she’s convinced is impossible. Little does she realize she’s been infected with a disease a little more permanent than the rabies she feels fortunate to have not contracted.
Lycanthropy.
Her fierce denial is soundly shattered, however, when she is simultaneously saved and kidnapped by Bastian and his pack. Forced to leave small town Iowa behind and adjust to their way of life in a hidden society, Katherine must also deal with fighting the pull she feels towards the man – or wolf, rather – who has bitten her and disrupted her life so completely.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The sequel to Bitten is currently in the works and scheduled for release in 2016.

The whole trilogy was great
Would offer it as entertaining for young adults
I really like the look of the book’s cover. It pulled me in. Katherine, a 16 yo from Iowa, is bitten by a wolf while out exploring the grounds of an abandoned house with a group of girls. This is her story of adjusting to pack life.
Bastien is pack alpha and will do anything to protect his pack. He helps rescue Katherine from an unknown enemy, …
I loved how the author detailed the warewolf village, their culture, traditions, and politics. I found that it really added to the story and gave it a bit of originality. I enjoyed the characters and their development throughout the book. The only aspect of the book that I wasn’t overly thrilled with (obviously not enough to stop reading or to …
Good topic, characters. Had to keep reading to get to the good parts.
Love love loved it such a good back story and made me feel a loss once it was over, I will miss these characters!
This book was more than the typical werewolf story. The characters were so interesting and took great twists. I can’t wait to read the next one.
Freaking phenomenal!
I’ve read all the books in this series. The author had a strange way of referring to the characters as “the brunette”, “the blonde”, instead of using their names. I enjoyed the story so I overlooked it. There are a few spelling or editing errors so if you can’t overlook them, this isn’t the book for you. I was ab;e to because it was an enjoyable …
It’s okay but couldn’t keep my interest and will not read next in series because of that.
a little different take on the story line, but i schemed alot
I thought the book was perfect for young adult readers, especially high school age. Although I am much older and thoroughly enjoyed it, I also liked that I could share it with my daughter and my students
Great read! Not too much romance till the end though, but nonetheless phenomenal story and characters.
Words can’t describe how good this book is. The character, the story, the drama. So Marvelously written that you won’t be away to put it down!
